《fatherhood // lashton》7

"Grandpa!" Leon cheered as the dark blue door opened to the white medium sized family house.
"Oh hello big boy!" Luke's father said and engulfed the small boy in a big hug, making Leon disappear for a few seconds. His giggles were still heard though, making Luke know he was alive.
"Hi dad" Luke said as he stepped into his childhood home and closed the door after him. His father pulled him into a tight hug and pulled back to smile at his son.
"How are things?" Andrew asked and looked down and chuckled lightly when seeing Leon struggle to take off his jacket. Luke crouched down and gently pealed Leon's hands away to unbutton it and take it off of him.
"It's good, everything is really good. How are things here?" Luke said and smiled up at his father as he helped Leon take off his shoes. Leon was impatiently squirming around, making it much harder for Luke to help him.
"It's the usual, nothing exciting has happened just yet" Andrew spoke.
"Where's everyone else?" Luke asked and sighed contently when he was done taking Leon's shoes and jacket off. Luke stood up and glanced down at his father since he was slightly taller.
"Outside on the porch"
"Outside? It's really cold" Luke said and frowned. "Okay Leon, well if we're gonna be outside you better put your jacket on again-"
Luke stopped when glancing down and seeing his son had already rushed away to the people outside. Luke pursed his lips and nodded before hanging the small jacket up on one of the pins by the door.
"Glad to see you still have everything under control" Andrew joked and Luke rolled his eyes before taking off his own jacket and shoes.
"Is everyone here?" Luke asked as he pulled the sleeves of his sweater over his hands, creating sweater paws for warmth.
"Yes," Andrew answered as he walked in front of Luke, "You're late as usual" he chuckled and Luke just shrugged because it was true.
They stepped out to the porch through the sliding glass doors and Luke was met with family glancing up at him.
"Finally!" Jack sighed and and threw his hands in the air in a joking matter as Luke stepped over to the table and grinned. He walked around the table to his mother and leaned down to kiss her cheek.
"Hi mom"
"Hi honey" she smiled up at him and patted his arm before Luke continued to walk around the table and greeted his brothers. Luke took a seat beside Jack and sighed out in content when he was seated in the comfortable chair.
Every so often the Hemmings family used to meet up at the family house and just eat a simple lunch or dinner. Everyone liked it since it kind of forced them to meet up and keep contact even though all sons were out of the house.
Leon loved it the most since he absolutely love his grandma and grandpa and adored his uncles.
The first person Luke had told about the sudden pregnancy, was actually Jack. It was accidentally brought up and the two brothers had spent the whole night talking about how Luke should tell the rest of the family.
Luke's whole family had been shocked about the news, just like his friends had, but they were all set on helping him out.
After a bit of scolding from his mother and a hard talk with his father, Luke got ready to have a baby with the girl he didn't even have any feelings for.

No one was set on Luke ending up being a single father, but they were all there to help and Luke wouldn't want to have it any other way.

Luke walked into the kitchen and left the empty plates in the sink before continuing down the hallway and got Leon's jacket from the pin it was hanging on. He walked back outside and handed the jacket to Ben that had Leon seated in his lap.
"Why didn't you bring your boyfriend today?" Liz asked as Luke sat down on his seat again. Luke raised his eyebrows and leaned forward a bit to leaned against the table and look at his mother in surprise.
"Boyfriend?" Luke asked awkwardly and glanced around the table. His father looked interested and his two brothers were smirking at their little brother's awkwardness.
"Yes, Leon told us about a boyfriend" Ben said and looked down at the small boy in his lap who was struggling to get his arm through the sleeve of the jacket.
"You just love to talk about my private life, don't you?" Luke asked and raised an eyebrow at Leon. The small boy only giggled, making Luke shake his head and breath out a laugh.
"Who's the boyfriend?" Andrew asked and leaned back in his chair. Luke looked back and forth between all the people around the table before sighing and leaning back in his own chair.
"It's not a boyfriend. Not yet at least, or I don't really know" Luke mumbled and furrowed his eyebrows while thinking.
Jack chuckled at Luke's confused look on his face, making Leon giggle even more.
"Keep telling secrets about your father, and keep making him embarrassed. Take it up now because he'll embarrass you all your teenage years" Jack said and held thumbs up to Leon.
Ben held his hand up and high fived Leon before putting him down on the floor and got out of his chair to play some football with the small one.
"Don't make a pact with him now when I'm leaving him here over the night" Luke said and Jack only laughed.
Sometimes Leon slept over at Luke's parents house mostly because the small one loved his grandparents and loved staying at Luke's childhood home, but also because Luke would get some time to relax and sleep.
Luke loved his son with all his heart, but being a 21 year old single father was tiring and sometimes you just needed a well earned break.
But to be fair, Luke missed Leon each time he left him at his mother and father's house. It only took him to close the door of the house and Luke suddenly had that knot in his stomach because he just missed the company of his son.
"I'm gonna make him so embarrassed of you" Jack said before standing up from his chair and pushing Luke out of his before both boys went over to play football with Ben and Leon.
**
"So, what are you up to?" Luke asked into his phone as he was seated on the bus home to his apartment.
"Nothing really. I'm attempting to cook something for me to eat but I think it will end up with me calling for pizza or something" Ashton chuckled and Luke could hear some rustling while Ashton was talking.
"Too bad I'm not there to help you cook" Luke said and shrugged even though Ashton couldn't see him. Luke smiled when hearing the older boy laugh softly.
"Yeah, it'd be nice if you could come over" Ashton spoke softly.

"I mean I could do that, I'm on the bus home right now and Leon's sleeping at my parents house" Luke spoke in a slight mumble.
"Really? Peach is at my sister's, so do you want to come over?" Ashton asked with a happy tone in his voice.
"Yeah-- I mean," Luke said and nodded his head, "Yeah, I'll come over"
"Great," Ashton spoke and Luke could almost see the bright smile on his face, "What bus are you on right now?"
"Um, 372"
"Good, stay on that one until the second last stop, I'll meet you there" Ashton said and hurriedly said goodbye before hanging up.
Luke slowly brought the phone away from his ear and looked at it before he started to smile big.
As Luke reached the second last stop, he stepped off the bus and looked around the bus stop. As he turned his head to the left his eyes landed on a dimpled smile, making Luke smile back.
"Hi" Luke breathed out as he stepped closer to Ashton.
"Hi" Ashton said and his smile grew, if that was even possible.
Both boys stood quietly in the early night air and looked at each other. Blue meeting hazel-green, putting every other color to shame.
Luke bit his lip and breathed out a happy laugh before reaching a hand up to cup Ashton's cheek and leaned in to kiss him lightly. Ashton smiled and kissed back for a few seconds before both boys pulled away and smiled at each other.
"Hi" Luke breathed out again and Ashton laughed that light and pretty laugh he had before he grabbed Luke's hand and walked him to his apartment.
After walking one block, entering an apartment building and climbing a few steps, Luke entered a cozy apartment that smelled just like Ashton, and Luke already felt at home.
"Okay, help me cook now because I'm hungry" Ashton said and walked into the kitchen. Luke stood still in the hallway and looked around with a small smile on his face.
"You coming?" Ashton asked and stuck his head out from the kitchen. Luke sucked on his bottom lip to not show his big smile, but it was kind of impossible because Luke was just really happy.
"Yeah," Luke said and nodded, as he walked over to Ashton.
"Why are you smiling so much?" Ashton said and raised his eyebrows at Luke.
"I could ask the same thing to you" Luke said and raised his eyebrows up as well.
"Well, I'm happy" Ashton said and shrugged.
"Well," Luke said and smiled even bigger, "I'm happy too"
**
"That's just embarrassing"
"It's not embarrassing, it's just not in my knowledge! I know a lot of other stuff I bet you don't know"
"How can make pancakes not be in your knowledge?" Luke asked and laughed at he looked at Ashton. They were both seated on the soft couch in the living room while the TV was on playing some show neither of the boys payed attention to.
"And tell me what you know that I don't" Luke added.
"I bet you don't know anything about marketing" Ashton said and looked at Luke with one eyebrow raised.
"Marketing?" Luke asked, "Why would I know anything about marketing?"
"It's a serious matter that keeps society going" Ashton said and looked at Luke sincerely but burst out laughing only seconds after, "I'm sorry, I couldn't even hold it for 5 seconds"
"You work with marketing?" Luke asked with a small smile on his face.
"Yeah," Ashton said and leaned back in the couch, "It kind of sucks"
"Well, it's a good thing that you work with that because I don't know anything about that. Just like you don't know anything about cooking, but I'll teach you, and you'll teach me" Luke said and shrugged.
Ashton tilted his head and inspected Luke's face before smiling adoringly. He breathed out a soft laugh before nodding his head.
"Yeah," Ashton breathed out, "God, you're so adorable"
Luke scrunched his face up. "Adorable? I'm a 21 year old male, I don't think I like being called adorable" he said and smiled when Ashton laughed.
"I'm sorry, you're really hot" Ashton said again and Luke grinned.
"Thank you," Luke answered and moved even closer to Ashton, "You're hot too, and adorable"
"Thank you," Ashton whispered and leaned his face closer to Luke's. Luke nudged his nose against Ashton's gently while both boys breathed hotly against each other's lips.
Luke sucked on his lip ring before leaning in the last few inches and pressed his lips against Ashton's again. This time not as light as the last time though.
Ashton's laced his fingers into Luke's hair and Luke gripped Ashton's shirt by his waist. They moved their lips together and even though they hadn't kissed that many times, it felt familiar. It felt comfortable and it felt good.
Ashton put a bit more pressure in Luke's hair and pulled lightly before pressing Luke closer to him. Luke hummed at the closeness and curled his arms around Ashton's waist, making their seated bodies press together softly.
"Can I-" Luke asked against Ashton's lips before pulling away just a bit to look Ashton in his eyes and cleared his throat awkwardly, "Can I lay you down?"
Ashton looked at the younger boy and gave him an adored smile. He nodded and sighed out contently.
"Yes Luke, you can" Ashton whispered through a soft laugh before placing his lips on Luke's again.
Luke found that little bit of confident he lost and kissed Ashton back again, pushing him back so both of them fell down on the couch gently. Ashton with his back leaning on the soft couch cushions and Luke hovering over him, his arms on each side of Ashton's head so he was lying right over the older boy.
Ashton brought his hands back to Luke's hair again and ran his fingers through it, making shivers appear on Luke's skin. Ashton noticed and smiled into the kiss, continuing to comb his fingers through Luke's soft blond hair.
"That feels really good" Luke breathed out and Ashton chuckled. Luke pushed himself up a bit and looked down at Ashton with a pretty smile.
"Yeah" Ashton chuckled and pushed a few strands of hair away from Luke's face and then kept his fingers in his hair.
"Can I ask you something?" Luke whispered and moved around a bit so he was leaning on his elbows and letting his pointer fingers trace Ashton's dimples.
"Of course" Ashton answered softly.
"Are we-" Luke started but stopped to take a deep breath, "Are we together?"
"We're together right now, yes Luke" Ashton said and Luke rolled his eyes.
"No, are we something together?" Luke asked slightly awkward.
"We are two males kissing-"
"Why are you making this so hard for me?" Luke sighed and Ashton laughed that light laugh again.
"Because it's really adorable when you get all awkward and flustered" Ashton said and ran his fingers through Luke's hair again.
"I'm not adorable" Luke pouted and Ashton chuckled again.
"Keep going on what you were saying before, I'll be serious this time" Ashton said after a while.
"Okay," Luke said and bit down on his lip nervously, "Are we boyfriends?"
Ashton smiled and tilted his head to the side as he watched the younger boy.
"Do you want to be boyfriends?" Ashton asked and Luke nodded his head, "Then ask me" Ashton added.
"Ask you?"
"Ask me to be your boyfriend" Ashton said and smiled up at Luke, loving the small awkward vibe Luke always brought with him.
Luke looked deeply into Ashton's eyes before licking his lips a few times like he always did when he was nervous. He caressed Ashton's cheeks with his thumbs and took a deep breath.
"Would you like to be my boyfriend?" Luke asked softly and bit down on his lip right away to keep his mouth shut and hear Ashton's answer.
Ashton smiled even bigger, his dimples popping out, before he leaned up and kissed Luke softly.
"Yes Luke, I'd like that very much" he said and nodded his head, giggling slightly.
"Oh thank god" Luke breathed out in relief before leaning down to kiss the happily grinning Ashton once again.

The Ordinary Life of Tom Nobody
[participant in the 2018 NaNoWriMo Royal Road challenge] The Ordinary Life of Tom Nobody is a LitRPG system story where each person transitions into the system, or SCHEMA as this system is known, innocent and unaware of his former life. Following the tutorial, memories return, but by this point, each person has a better chance of accepting their new world. It also gives them an opportunity to start from scratch, fresh without all the baggage of their former lives dictating their decisions in the early stages of the process. I don’t expect this will necessarily turn into an action-packed heroic tale, my intent is to create a character who wants to have just an ordinary, but reasonably comfortable life. I don’t know myself how well he will succeed, there may be twists and Tom may discover some heroism hidden deep inside. I guess we’ll find out together. This is my first writing attempt. I’ve wanted to write all my life, but I’ve never been able to develop the proper discipline to put in the work. I hope I complete the challenge and work my way past this hump. I am writing this as part of the NaNoWriMo Royal Road Challenge. While I will try to self-edit as I go, the challenge requires close to 2,000 words a day, so parts of the story may be rough, and things like plot lines may not make as much sense as any of us would like. If all goes well, and I complete the challenge, I plan on going back through everything and trying to polish it up. In the meanwhile, thank you for reading and I hope I don’t disappoint.

Drakon the Necrolord v2
Rewrite of my novel Drakon the Necrolord. 100 thousand years ago the system apocalypse began and all of the known worlds with sentient life in the universe got merged together forming a super planet. Orcs elves humans dwarves and hundreds of other species now living on one planet. These are the memoirs of one of them. Written with the help of the AI in his head and a little help from his friends. As a note: I have tons of worldbuilding done (probably way more than needed, as that was why the rewrites took so long. Depending on the reception here I might do more stories in the same universe and/or build a wiki with all my worldbuilding stuff.
