"What movie do you want to watch?" Luke asked Leon and Peach as he was sitting on the floor in front of the dvd. A bunt of movies were placed on his lap as he looked up to the couch were the toddlers were sat.
"Lion King!" Leon squealed out.
"Peach is the guest in the house, ask her what she want to watch first" Luke said and watched his son nod his head before turning to look at Peach.
"What do you wanna watch?" Leon asked.
"Lion King" Peach said and smiled big at Leon, her dimples popping out just like they did on her father when he smiled.
"Lion King it is then" Luke chuckled and put in the cd in the dvd-player, watching so everything worked as it should before heading back to the kitchen.
He entered the room and glanced at Michael and Calum as they discussed something Luke was not at all interested in.
He sighed exhaustedly and sat down across from his best friends, gaining their attention.
"What's up Lukey-boy?" Michael asked and smirked small when Calum snickered.
"I'm tired" Luke said and hid his face in his arms that were placed on then table, groaning slightly.
"That's how it is to live the life as a single father, dude" Calum said and patted Luke on his shoulder.
"Or maybe not so single," Michael said, making Luke lift his head to look at him with furrowed eyebrows, "Tell me about this boyfriend of yours"
Michael smirked big and Calum nodded his head in agreement. Luke only rolled his eyes.
"He's not my boyfriend" Luke muttered, maybe a bit bitterly.
"Are you sure about that? Because your kids seem to very much believe that you two are a couple" Calum said and laughed lightly.
"You make it sound like Peach is mine" Luke chuckled.
"Could have fooled me" Calum said and Michael laughed.
"She's so cute though, I want her to stay here forever" Michael said and pouted towards Luke.
"No but for real though, who is this Ashton guy?" Calum asked and poured himself a glass of milk from the cartoon that was still standing on the table. It was a bit warm now, making Calum grimace slightly when taking a sip.
"He's just a very nice guy. I met him at the supermarket and we talked a bit and then I met him a few days after when Peach started going to Leon's preschool and we just started talking, went for coffee and then had a play date" Luke said and shrugged.
"You had a play date? What kind of playing did you do?" Michael asked and wiggled his eyebrows.
"You suck" Luke grumbled and gave Michael a glare.
"I think it's you who's sucking here" Michael mumbled back. Luke rolled his eyes and Calum laughed.
"No, stop being mean to him. Luke is just in love" Calum said and Luke groaned.
"You're not listening to me at all" Luke mumbled and was about to stand up and walk away but Calum tugged him down again, stopping him.
"No, seriously now. Who is he and what are you two?" Calum asked, "And how old is he? Because if he's like 40 something I think I have to protest against the love story between you two"
Luke scoffed. "He's 24, and he's an awesome dude and he's also a single father. He's just easy to talk to and so on" Luke said and shrugged, "I like him"
Luke sighed as he thought through about what Ashton and him were. Who even was Ashton to him? Luke wanted to know what he and Ashton were, because he really wanted them to be something.

"I don't know what we are though, we haven't done anything to decide what we are. If we even are anything" Luke answered and leaned his chin on his hands.
"By the sound of you and the kids, it does sound like you are something" Michael said and smiled contently. Both him and Calum were happy that his best friend had finally found someone. Luke hadn't had anyone since Leon's mother, and they weren't even a good couple.
Luke had experienced some sexual adventures during the four years that had gone by, but it wasn't anything memorable. He'd rather stay home and be with his son because he was the only one who Luke wanted to place all his attention on.
But with Ashton it was different. Ashton had a kid and he knew just how Luke felt, which made it so much easier for both boys to feel for each other.
"Yeah" Luke mumbled thoughtfully.
"When can we meet him? We have to see if he's good enough, you know?" Michael said.
"He's coming by later to pick Peach up, so I guess that's when," Luke said and shrugged, "Promise me you won't grill him with all your questions"
"Can't be sure to hold that promise, baby daddy" Calum said and stood up from his chair, stretching a bit before walking over to Luke and patting his cheeks.
"These nicknames has been going on for four years now and I'm getting a little bit tired of them," Luke said and stood up from his chair as well, "With 'little bit tired' I mean 'very fucking tired'"
Michael laughed as he stood up from his chair as well. "Let's go watch The Lion King, I haven't watched that movie in like 10 years"
**
They were in the middle of watching some kids show on TV that Michael was particularly interested in, when someone knocked on the door. Michael had Peach in his lap and they were happily commenting on the show while Leon was almost sleeping in Luke's lap.
When Luke reacted to the knocking on the door, he carefully stood up and placed Leon in Calum's lap before walking out of the living room to the front door. He opened it and smiled as soon as his eyes were placed on Ashton.
"Hi," Ashton said and smiled big, showing off his dimples.
"Hi," Luke said back, opening the door and mentioning for Ashton to step inside. "I thought you'd be working longer?"
"Yeah, no. I sweet talked myself out of it about an hour earlier" Ashton said and grinned.
"More time for you to stay here then?" Luke said and chuckled as he said it as a joke, but was completely serious. Luke really wanted Ashton to stay for a while.
"Yeah, that was my plan" Ashton answered and and grinned even larger.
And then it happened again. When everything just stopped around them and they just stared at each other with those giddy smiled on their faces.
They were both adults, but if anyone could see them now they would describe them looking like two love struck teenagers. But they were happy and their eyes were glistening, so if finding each other made them look like giddy teenage girls, then so be it.
"Luke?" Calum's voice was heard gently through the apartment, making both Ashton and Luke tear their gazes away from each other.
"We should probably get in," Luke said and nodded towards the living room, "They're all in there and watching TV"
"All?" Ashton asked as he shrugged his jacket off and hug it up on the wall.

"Yeah, the small ones and my friends. I think Peach is in love with Michael, so you'll have to take that talk with her" Luke said and chuckled as Ashton raised his eyebrows in surprise.
They walked through the small hallway and into the living room, making all the people seated in it look up.
"Dad!" Peach said and smiled big before climbing out of Michael's lap and ran over to Ashton to hug her father's legs. Ashton smiled and picked her up, giving her a kiss on her forehead.
"Hi sweet Peach, you've had fun?" Ashton asked and Peach nodded her head excitedly before telling him just what they had done and how fun it had been.
"Peach is not going home yet, is she?" Leon asked and tugged at Ashton's jeans slightly to gain his attention.
"You want her to stay?" Ashton asked and crouched down to put down Peach and be in the same level as them.
"Can we stay?" Peach asked and looked at her father with those big green eyes.
"We can stay for a while" Ashton said smiling while nodding his head, laughing lightly when the two toddlers happily ran away to Leon's room.
"Such happy kids" Ashton laughed as he stood up and smiled at Luke before letting his eyes travel over to the two boys seated on the couch.
"Hi" he said politely with a happy smile spread on his lips. Like always.
Both Michael and Calum stood up to properly greet Ashton.
"Your daughter is adorable" Michael said and Ashton smiled big.
"Thank you, I've heard from Luke that you to had quite the connection" Ashton chuckled and sat down in the armchair. Luke took a seat on the table between the chair and the couch.
The four boys talked and by the subtle looks Luke got from both Michael and Calum, he knew they "approved" of Ashton. Even though Luke didn't take it seriously, he was still relieved that his friends liked the boy he liked.
**
"You live very nice. How did you afford this?" Ashton said as him and Luke were standing out on the balcony. Ashton was looking out over the blinking city lights as Luke was looking at Ashton's pretty profile.
"I bought it when it was said that they would build new apartments so the view would disappear but they stopped that decision after a few months so we got a pretty good deal" Luke said and Ashton turned to him and smiled warmly.
"That's really nice" he said and turned his head back to the view again. "I wish I had a nice view like this. I don't even have a balcony" he said and pouted jokingly.
Luke laughed. "That's okay, you can come here whenever and watch my view"
Ashton turned to look at him again, locking his hazel-green eyes with Luke's blue before smiling that pretty "Ashton smile" again. Luke really liked that smile.
"I guess I'll have to take good care of that opportunity then" he said softly.
And then they looked at each other again.
It was like a light switch; it could be turned on and turned off just like that, but it seemed like they couldn't control it. None of the boys minded though, because ending up in this kind on trance was all positive. It was warm and happy, and the smile both boys had on their faces could only be read as happiness and somewhat love.
"Have you lived in this city all your life?" Luke asked suddenly, still keeping his eyes locked with Ashton's.
"Yeah, or I moved here when I was 4. Why?" Ashton answered and cocked his head slightly to the side.
"Because-" Luke started but stopped. He looked at Ashton and maybe he started blushing a bit, he didn't really know, and smiled before speaking again, "I'm just wondering where you've been all my life"
Ashton's eyes gleamed even more in the slightly darker light outside. His smile grew and those perfect dimples were on full show, making Luke want to reach out and touch them.
"I don't know," Ashton said bit his bottom lip while smiling, "I guess we had some stuff to archive before meeting each other. We probably wouldn't have met if it wasn't for our kids"
Luke nodded and leaned the side of his body against the balcony railing. "That's true," he said and bit his lip as he studied Ashton's face, "I'm happy they are getting along so well"
Ashton glanced through the glass of the balcony door and looked at Peach and Leon running in and out of Leon's room, collecting all the pillows and blankets in the apartment.
"Me too" Ashton said and smiled big. He slowly turned his head to look at Luke again, smiling even more warmly. "I'm very happy we're getting along as well" he added with a cheesy grin.
Luke rolled his eyes and chuckled. "Yeah, I'm very happy about that too"
It was quiet between them for a while after that. They only looked at each other and it was peaceful. Sometimes they heard the squeaky giggles from their toddlers and the two fathers smiled at that.
"Your friends are really nice" Ashton spoke after a while.
Luke nodded. "They really like you, I could see it on their faces"
"Really?" Ashton said and smiled hopefully. Luke smiled and nodded.
"Yeah. They told me they had to make sure you were alright, so they would ask you questions and then approve of you or not" Luke chuckled slightly and looked down at his feet.
"Approve me for what?" Ashton asked, making Luke look up.
"Oh, um--" Luke said and shuffled around a bit on his feet and chuckled awkwardly, "Leon and Peach randomly mentioned that you and me were boyfriends and Michael and Calum started asking questions about it"
Ashton was quiet but the small grin on his face said a lot.
"Peach told me your mother had told you to make me your boyfriend" Luke said and Ashton raised one eyebrow, "Is that true?"
"Do you want it to be true?" Ashton asked and smirked slightly. Luke licked his lips and shrugged before biting down on his bottom lip.
"I'd be very much lying if I said no" Luke answered.
Silence was spread around them as their eyes did all the talking for them. Ashton stepped one step closer to Luke and intently studied his face.
He let his pretty colored eyes roam all Luke's soft face. The stubble on his cheeks and chin, his defined jaw, his adorable nose, his ocean blue eyes, and lastly down to his pink lips with the black piercing in.
Ashton liked it all.
The honey-blond kept his eyes on Luke's lips, licking his own while breathing heavily.
Luke was breathing even more heavily. He could see his own chest moving up and down and he gripped the railing by his side hard with one hand.
They stood still and only stared at each other for a while, the tension growing thicker, until Ashton decided to speak up quietly.
"You're not good with taking hints, are you?"
"What?" Luke asked, his voice a bit hoarse as he hadn't spoken in a while.
Ashton breathed out a soft laugh. "I'm kind of hinting for you to kiss me"
"Oh," Luke said quietly, "Oh" he repeated louder this time in realization. Both boys stood still again and Ashton smiled adoringly.
"You should really kiss me now Luke" he said softly and smiled sweetly.
"Okay," Luke said and nodded. It took him some time before actually reaching one hand out and placed it on the back of Ashton's neck. He brought his other hand and placed it on Ashton's waist, nervously breathing in and out.
Ashton was still smiling at him and that made Luke relax. He took one last deep breath before leaning in. Luke smiled at Ashton just before his lips met his.
Ashton's hands found their way around Luke's neck and Luke tightened his grip on Ashton's waist before moving his lips softly against Ashton's.
Their lips moved together and it was friendly as they explored each other gently. No tongue was involved because they weren't really there yet. They were like two young boys experiencing their first ever kiss, and it was adorable.
Luke gently put a bit more pressure on Ashton's neck, pulling him closer to himself. Luke moved his lips against Ashton's and almost moaned out at the soft feeling. He sucked on Ashton's lip and loved the faint taste of AshtonAshtonAshton.
He soon pulled away and put his forehead on Ashton's, breathing heavily.
"You suck at getting hints but you're a great kisser, so it covers it up" Ashton murmured and Luke breathed out a chuckle before catching Ashton's lips with his own for another kiss.
