Chapter 29: Let Out & Final Decision
It seemed like forever that I was locked in the classroom crying but I know that it was not actually that long...it just seemed like it. The whole time I could hear people screaming for help...or that's what it started off as, soon the screams had been replaced by what sounded like babies whining. So this is it...it all starts and ends here. What is going on and what will happen is not that important now...because it all ends...I end here...alone...not even thoughts are reaching me. I have never heard this type of silence in my entire my entire life.
Suddenly a few thoughts from a good distance away made it to me.
"We can't let these loser sidekicks beat us and stop Gwen!" Penny?
"I can finish what I started with Peace during Save The Citizen!" Speed?
"I HAVE TO WIN TO SAVE MARY!!!" LASH?!?!
I stood up and grabbed the handle again, I knew that it was still locked but I couldn't help but keep trying. I have no idea how long I was banging and trying my best to open the door with my arms and whole body but I realized that my arms hurt and actually had a few scratches on them with some blood. So seeing that this was not helping and just making things worse I decided to look around the room for something to pick the lock with.
I looked for paperclips thinking that they would be my best bet, but yet I couldn't find any...What kind of high-school classroom doesn't have paperclips!!! What else could I look for...anything at this point. I searched every drawer and every cabinet that was in this room but nothing useful for me to try and get out with. I don't know how long I looked through this room but when I stopped for a sec I realized that I no longer could hear the thoughts of Penny, Speed and Lash but instead a few of those friends of Will's.

Wait they are not just thoughts I can actually hear their voices! I then realized that a lot of noise was starting to come from the cafeteria. I ran to the door and started to yell for help while banging on the door as hard as I could.
"What was that?" Layla's voice asked.
Soon a lot of footsteps came rushing down the hall towards where I was locked up in this classroom.
"Is someone in there?" Peace yelled from the other side of the door.
"Peace?! It's me Star! It's locked from the outside; can you get me out?" I asked him.
"Back up." he said.
I did as he said and backed up, soon the handle and lock started to melt away until it was completely melted so they could just push the door open.
"Peace! Oh Thank You So Much!" I said rushing out of the room and giving him a quick hug.
"Hey aren't you Lash's girl?" Ethan asked.
"Yes. Where is he?!" I asked him a little sternly.
"Why should we tell you? Just so you could help him escape?" Zak asked.
"NO! JUST TELL ME WHERE HE IS!!" I yelled.
"Tell her." Peace said sternly.
"Down the hall in the boys bathroom. Probably still has his head stuck in the toilet." Ethan said and I took off before any more words could be said.
I made it to the boys bathroom and rushed inside to see Lash washing his face at the sinks.
"That little basst...though I did deserve it...but how will I save Mary now?...How can I even face her after all the pain I've caused her." he thought while looking down at his hands.
"Lash." I said softly.

"MARY?!?!" Lash yelled with wide eyes as he turned to face me.
I ran to him and wrapped my arms around his waist as tight as I possibly could; afraid that if I loosen my grip that he will leave me again...for good.
"M..Ma...Mary...I...How?" He stuttered.
"Pl...Please don't...don't speak...You can explain everything later...right now...just...just hold me tight and don't let go." I said as tears fell.
"Mary...I'm so sorry." he said hugging me tighter than I was hugging him.
Just then there was a loud click or something and we hit the floor.
"L...Lash! What's happening!!" I yelled while still holding tight onto him.
"The School is Falling!" he yelled back.
"What?!?!"
"Gwen messed with the anti gravity thing that keeps the school up!"
"WHAT?!? WHY WOULD SHE DO THAT?!? WHY IS SHE SO CRAZY?!?"
"I don't know...I'm sorry for all of this Mary and for all the pain I caused you." he said softly but I still heard it.
"It not your..." before I could finish what I was going to say the school stopped falling and started to move in the opposite direction.
"We didn't crash...Stronghold must have done it...I'm grateful...now you're safe. I really should apologize." Lash said as we slowly returned to our original position in the sky.
"Lash...this is not your fault and I don't blame you and neither do I hate you...I will always love you no matter what." I said hugging him as the school stopped moving for good and we could stand back up.
"Thanks Mary and I Love you too...more than anything in this world...more than my freedom." he said as a long silence fell between us.
We both know what is to come. The silence was proof of that however neither of us wanted to let go of the other. The only possible way to fix all of this now is if he turns himself in and does his time for helping Gwen...maybe he can get out early for good behavior or turn good and become a hero...either way I will lose him...that's why I'm holding on to him so tight that my fingers turned red and started to hurt. My tears fell and they wouldn't stop. This has to be done but not right now.
"Lash..." I said with hardly no voice at all.
"I know...but let's stay like this a little longer...and again I love you too."

8 126Eleknar's Heir, The Infernal Prince (Demonic LitRPG)
A LitRPG and Epic Fantasy adventure: The son of a mafia boss finds himself abruptly plunged into an alternate world where he must find a way to survive the horrors of a realm called Oblivion, make pacts with demons, form unnatural friendships, and figure out what the hell is going on – all while dealing with the depressing reality of his past. An artificial intelligence has ascended into godhood and has thrown Trey’s home into Chaos, pulling millions of people into an enchanted new life... or, in Trey's case, a violent nightmare. As far as he can tell, he is locked into what the system prompts call a ‘Death Game.’ Here, artificial reality is manufactured for the enjoyment of a being called the All Spirit, and he has a very real chance of truly dying. Just how real is this place though? Is it merely a simulation, a realistic game of life and death… or is it something much more? Elves, dwarves, undead, and other races only thought to exist in fairy tales are now a reality. Black magics, pantheons of gods at odds with one another, predatory symbiotes, and an unholy calling, the significance of which he has yet to grasp, are all entangled with his fate. ============================================ ============================================ Some things to expect when reading this book series: - Brutal storyline where no character is safe and choices have real consequences. Heavy on action, survival, and adventure - An isekai. The main character struggles to find himself, repeatedly crossing the line between good and evil as other important characters influence his life - Harem (explicit), though this only starts about 180k words in. - Good amounts of crafting, town building, and guild building later on - Good amounts of fantasy-related LitRPG stats, rank ups, and evolutions. Heavy focus on demons and black magics - There will be many points of view, but there is only one primary/main character that takes up 90% of the POV - A long storyline. Currently (as of 7/26/2021) I have about 1500k words written, though much of it will have to be heavily edited and re-written. I also plan to go far beyond 1500k words if people like the story (A lot of it is also in the 'backstories' book that explores the guildmates, the link is below) - Chapters will have an average of about 4k-5k words, a little longer than most other books on RR, though there will be exceptions for more and less. I just didn't like posting chapters that didn't feel complete, and 2k words often felt like too little. - If you like super-heroic and goody-goody characters, this story is not for you. ***Updated once a week***
