Chapter 12:Our Tree, Our Love and Our Truths!

I headed down the sidewalk towards a nearby park. When me and Lash were dating, we came to this park all the time to get away from the stress of home, school and friends. We would sit in one of the trees and just talk about anything and everything under the sun, especially talking about how much we care about each other. After a two weeks of dating Lash carved our names into it, so from then on the tree was known as "Our Tree".

I made it to the park and walked over to our tree, but I couldn't see Lash anywhere...maybe he's on his way. All of a sudden a beautiful white flower lowered down in front of me. I knew already who held that flower, simply because it was the way he always greeted me when he beat me to the park. Sure enough I looked up to see Lash sitting up in the tree.

"You still greet me the same way when I'm late to the park." I said taking the flower from him as he got down.

"Classics never go out of style."

"I'm not sure if this could be classified as classic." I said laughing a little.

"Even if it's not it still makes you smile when I do it." he said walking closer, as I leaned against the tree.

"That's true...very true."

"And you also like it when I do this to you." Lash said placing one hand against the tree next to my shoulder and the other hand on my waist, then he kissed me ever so sweetly and lightly.

When he pulled away it made me want another and deeper kiss like before but I knew that it would only make things worse for me...or maybe better. Anyway he moved his hand from my waist to my right hand and we intertwined our fingers together, and placing his forehead against mine.

"That is also true." I said softly, smiling as I looked down at our hands.

"Why do I get a feeling that you have a "but" to add on to that?" he said straightening up.

"Because there is....I...I love you Lash! I really do and I always will just like I miss all of this but.." I started but stopped having troubles trying to figure out what to say.

"But...." Lash said lifting my head up.

"But I don't like.."

"My bullying! I know." he said cutting me off.

"That too, but what's really bugging me is the fact that you're hiding something from me. You wont tell me the truth about what's going on with you!" I said letting go of his hand.

"I'm sorry for everything Mary and I promise to start telling you everything...a little at at time." he said grabbing my waist and pulling me closer.

"Then start now! Tell me why are you bullying!?" I asked pushing him away feeling anger start to rise up in me.
