《The Serpent's Enigma》44 | A Night to Remember

"Let them bang;"
thus said the author.

Gigi was wandering around her and Cal's new bedroom in awe. She couldn't believe the wonders they had done with the place. While the architectural style was still mainly Angletonian, they managed to include Prajan influence in smaller details, such as a carving on the wood, or the motifs of the curtain. It was exactly like how she had envisioned.
And if everything goes as planned, they would be able to get it on tonight. Copulate, shag, screw, bonk, and everything in between.
There was only one problem...
"Looking fantastic, darling!" Cal suddenly appeared after finishing his bi-weekly visit to the Doctor.
She rushed over to give him a kiss. "How was it with Jaeyr?"
"Well, she's still not exactly keen on our plan, but she's on board. I told her that when I had another symptom it was because of a recollection of the past and not because of our intimacy and that I've started to tell you the truth about my past."
"Good. Do you wish to see our new bed?"
"I was going to save it for the night, but since we've been having a jumpstart lately," said Cal huskily, suddenly sweeping her off her feet and carrying her bridal style to the bedroom.
Emerging through the newly furnished mahogany doors, he was stunned as he saw the canopy bed in their soon-to-be-shared bedroom.
"There's a canopy. I didn't know it would have a canopy."
"Prajan beds have canopies, Sire, at least the luxury ones," explained Gigi as she slowly got down from his arms.
Walking over to the bed, she ran her fingers along the sheer pearl white curtains that were draped around the frames. She'd always liked the idea of having a canopy over their bed. It would add a layer to the romantic, fairy-tale-like atmosphere that she had been dreaming of.
"Don't you think it's beautiful, Sire? This is a basic white curtain, of course. But can you imagine, if we change it with a dark fabric with a bit of shimmer? It'd be like sleeping under a starry sky!"
"It's amazing. You came up with these ideas?" he asked. She just replied with a proud smile. "Did your bed also have a canopy at home?"
"It did, but it didn't feel as nice as I didn't have anyone to share it with."
"Clearly, you needn't worry about that anymore," he grinned as he scooped her back into his arms, earning a delightful squeal as he laid her down in bed. "My darling."
Gigi draped her both arms behind his neck, heartily accepting a kiss from him.
"So, they've finished furnishing the whole place?"
"Mostly, yes. It's ready enough to sleep in, they just have to finish moving our belongings from the old rooms. And tomorrow, we can finally have the night that we desire."
A shred of confusion clouded his warm brown eyes. "Tomorrow? I thought that night was tonight." He paused and sighed, realizing his mistake. "...Damn, I must have mixed the dates! I've already set up a meeting with some Seol-il nobles so early in the morning the day after tomorrow!"
"You didn't mix anything. The problem is... the rest of our belongings haven't been moved here yet. There are still a few sets of furniture for the sitting room that are due to arrive tomorrow," replied Gigi as she nervously fiddled with his necktie.
He cackled. "I don't care, the only furniture we're going to need is this bed, and you've prepared it marvellously!"

Gigi's face burned with anticipation. "...Tonight it is then."
As he got up to observe the room, he stopped to smile at their wedding photograph that had replaced his parents' portrait. "Look at me, putting on a straight face, not knowing that I was marrying the light of my life. I was so pessimistic, I didn't know what was ahead of me."
"Don't be so harsh on your past self, Sire. He'd suffered, he survived and deserved happiness." She came up behind him to stare at her own self in the photograph. She looked timid and unsure as a bride, reminding her of how far she'd come herself.
"I have to be honest, I do really like our wedding pictures. I was going to hang another one outside our bedroom with the family portrait that we took with Junior in the spring. I hope you don't mind."
"Have I ever stopped you from getting your way?" he laughed, leaning in to kiss the side of her neck. "Why do you like it, if I may ask, apart from the obvious reason?"
She turned to face him with a brilliant smile. "For me, they foresee hope. A promise."
Cal tilted his head, furrowing his brows.
"If that straight-faced man and the timid girl found happiness within the course of months, imagine what they can achieve in the coming years?"
***
"No," Junior shook his head as she picked a book from the stack for them to read together before he went to bed. Even though they were no longer sharing a bed, the Prince would still demand a good night kiss from both of his parents.
"But why not, Junior? I thought Southern Mythologies were your favourites. It's a continuity of the Tale of the Five Muses, remember?" Gigi blinked, running her fingertips along the embossed cover of the book.
Now that she thought of it, she had never seen Junior reading the southern tales anymore. Ever since...she got injured? But why?
Junior's brows narrowed, his small lips pressing together, looking like he was actively hiding something and trying so hard to prevent himself from spilling it. "I just don't feel like reading it."
"You know if something made you feel uneasy you can always tell me, right?" Gigi stared at him warmly, rubbing his tiny shoulder.
"Of course," he added, "Mother."
Gigi smiled kindly. It was only expected that 'Mother' would become Junior's new favourite word. He used every opportunity to address her with that during their conversations. Gigi was more than proud, though she had never once thought she'd be called a mother when she never got pregnant.
But would she ever be pregnant? Would Cal allow it now?
As she reached over to place the book on the nightstand, she spotted the sole red rose from Aravin still standing in a small, clear vase, looking as fresh as the day it was picked. How long had it been since her brother had gone home? Four to five days? She'd think it would have started to wither by now.
"So, how does it feel having the room all to yourself, Junior?" She glanced around the walls that had been painted sky blue, as it was also being redecorated per Junior's request. Cal had suggested honeydew green, but Gigi had insisted that a child should be allowed his own expressions, and not everything had to represent their noble house at all times.
"Well now that Papa isn't here, I can stay up late reading. What about you, Mother? How is it going, sharing a room with him?"

"Well, he..." Gigi tried to form a safe opinion, looking for memory about the perks of sharing a room with Cal that didn't include them groping, grinding or colliding their lips against each other's. Nothing of their intimacies had triggered him so far, and that was a good sign.
"Never mind, I think I know what's happening," Junior said, and Gigi's heart skipped a beat. "Are you making a baby?"
What?!
There was a pregnant silence as Gigi tried to regain her composure, looking at Junior with a nervous chuckle. "Pardon?"
"Isn't that what married people do when they love each other very much?"
Now, Gigi was getting really concerned. "Junior, what do you know about such things?"
"I was asking Papa the true story of human creation, so he made an example out of his own conception. Grandpop married Grandmére, and because he loved her very very much, they shared the true love's kiss and it got her with a child."
"Oh," Gigi laughed in both relief and anxiety. "Right. That's all?"
"But I can't help noticing that there's a missing piece to this story." He clutched his chin between his fingers, thinking intensely. "Since you're now residing in their old bedroom, doesn't that mean you will be following in their path?"
Gigi opened her mouth, trying to find a way to distract him from the topic, but only indiscernible sounds came out.
"I need to understand this, in case I decide to get married in the future," insisted Junior. He leaned over, placing his both palms on Gigi's lap. "Would you enlighten me, Mother?"
Right before Gigi felt that her life was about to come to an end, she heard her husband burst through the bedroom doors.
"Alright, darling! Since you need to get prepared I'll take over Junior for the moment!" he announced his arrival.
Thank goodness!
"Impeccable timing, Sire! We were just about to wrap up here," She stood up quickly, leaning over to kiss Junior deeply on his head. "Good night, Junior. About that thing you ask, perhaps it's better to ask your father."
"Good night, Mother," replied Junior, looking dumbfounded as she rushed herself to the door, only looking back to wave at him shyly.
"What is this about?" Senior asked sheepishly as Junior stared back at him, judgement plastered across his face.

Gigi couldn't remember being so fussy about her look before, not even during his birthday celebrations. It was the pressure that she had to look inviting and alluring, but still keeping enough mystery for him to unravel.
She stood in front of her dresser, having flung on a lacy ivory nightie that's hem fell just to the base of her thigh, with a pretty silk bow hanging behind it in a bone-white shade. Just the colour of it and occupying a new bedroom made her feel like a bride again; as if it was about to be a rerun of their wedding night.
With her hair down after a day being styled in elegant curls of Angletonian fashion, it had resumed a natural messy wave. She couldn't help feeling sexy about it.
Picking up her make-up brush, she decided to apply a little bit of colour to make her features pop, but not so much as if she was going to a party. Peach, on her lips, and a hint of rouge on her cheek. She even considered curling her eyelashes.
As a final touch, she slipped the edge of the sleeves halfway down her shoulders, exposing more of her skin as they hung loosely on her arms. Then after, a stroke of inspiration discarded her underwear and left it on top of the dresser as well.
This was it, the culmination of her patience. This was the moment she had been aching for months. Now that it was here, she was almost unable to believe that it was happening-
A light gasp escaped her lips as a pair of strong arms enclosed around her from behind.
"Darling," he whispered. She stared at his reflection in the mirror, still dressed in his dinner jacket. "Did I take too long? Junior was asking all sorts of weird questions."
"No, and it was expected of him," she simpered, her heart started to thump in her chest, closing her eyes as he pressed his lips lightly onto hers.
"You look amazing," he nuzzled her neck. "Shall I go and change?"
No, he shouldn't. Because by that time, she would've died from anticipation.
Turning in his arms, she ran her palms over his chest and shoulders. He was fully clothed, and she had only a sheer layer of see-through lace on her body. The thought made her feel hot. "It doesn't matter what you wear, we wouldn't be needing any of these clothes soon enough, Sire."
Then it happened. They mingled together in an open-mouthed kiss, unleashing the passion they had kept hidden underneath their skin during their prolonged rift. Gigi clutched tightly onto his suit, balancing herself on the tips of her toes as she unabashedly stuck out her tongue to swirl against his while he was feeling her soft curves under the thin lace. Now there were no more restrictions, no more menace, no more fear.
As they broke apart for air, Cal stared down her body intently and brought her closer to him by her rear. His eyes widened in revelation as he felt her nakedness underneath.
Muttering a series of praises against her skin, Gigi mewled as he picked her up, hooking both legs around his waist, seated on his erection as he brought her to their new bed.
They laughed together as they landed on the cushions. Gigi stared up at her husband as he rid himself of his shoes and jacket. Then he was between her legs once more, kissing her with stronger ardour as she helped him with his belt and loosening his tie.
"Are you going to be alright?" Gigi asked, cupping his face tenderly in both palms.
"I am more than alright," he grinned, kissing each of her fingertips.
His hand came to tug on one of her already loosened sleeves revealing her soft, rounded breasts. Her nipples tightened as they were exposed to the cold air, and Cal eyed them greedily before pinning her down to the bed, his mouth immediately closing around her left breast.
Gigi gazed up at the roof of their canopy, fingers entangled in his dark hair as he continued to suck like he was suckling on a sweet nectar. A hand fondled her right breast, twisting and pinching on her nipple.
The thrill of the moment quickly made her aware of a certain dampness below. Gigi whimpered, pressing her thighs together and bucking against him, aching to give her body what it wanted. As if he could read her mind, his hand slipped under her skirt, his warm fingers probing the moistened flesh between her legs.
Gigi moaned lewdly around Cal's hot tongue as he began to dip his middle finger in her entrance. Another finger came to stroke her clit and Gigi felt herself dripping with arousal. His fingers were plunging deep inside her as his warm mouth then latched on her other breast, sucking and nibbling. She clutched helplessly onto him, nails digging into his back.
As his fingers brushed against her sensitive walls, Gigi couldn't take it any longer. Letting out a raw, guttural moan as she climaxed, her insides clenching around his fingers. She laid there gulping for air as her husband looked down on her, satisfied. The orgasm made her vision swim, but he promised more. She wanted more.
Her hands quickly came over his as he worked to get his pants off, taking the liberty of inserting her hand down his boxers. She pushed him back into a sitting position, impatiently slipping his boxers off.
His erection came free, and the flush on her cheeks deepened at the size. He was rock hard, tight and smooth. Without further ado, and ignoring his look of surprise, she lunged forward and took it into her mouth.
Going down on him became a trickier job than she originally thought, Cal was right about experiences being the best teacher. While she meant to deep throat him and bob her head up and down his length smoothly, as it was often described in the novels, she had to stick with taking him in halfway when her mouth couldn't take more.
Placing both hands on his buttocks, she forced him in a little more before her throat clenched as she gagged.
"Easy, Gi," He rubbed soothingly behind her neck. "One step at a time."
She could feel herself becoming teary-eyed, but she had come so far and she wasn't going to waste her efforts. Slowly, she sucked on the head, moving her mouth on him. She didn't think she was doing a good job, but Cal groaned, fingers tightening in her hair as she lapped on his slit, running her tongue along the underside of his length. She closed her eyes in contentment, hearing a series of gasps followed by her name; "oh yes" and "good girl".
Soon he started to twitch in her mouth, so she allowed him to slip, blushing.
With her night slip still hanging loosely on her body, she laid back into the cushions, parting her legs for him.
"Sire...?" she smiled up at him coyly. There wasn't just lust in his eyes. There was that tenderness that made her want to do anything for him, shield him from whatever nightmare was crawling from his past.
"My darling," He sighed, emotion visible in his voice as he hiked her skirt up to her waist. "My precious darling." His hips were soon nestled between her parted thighs, she felt his bulbous tip against her entrance and took a deep breath.
"Are you sure?" she asked for the last time, caressing the outside of his arm.
"I love you," He gushed, pushing into her.
