1. Emilian de Raullt was the matriarch and original founder of the Leroy dynasty. She lived in the medieval ages.

2. Since she was often de-legitimized as a regnant Queen, she often styled her name as Emilian, Le Roi; meaning: Emilian, The King. It then became 'Leroy'.
