I screamed.
The moment my voice left my throat, he stopped and stared blankly at an unknown spot. I recognized the expression, this was Wanda.
I pushed him over, making him fall on the bed as I realized my body is exposed.
Then the door opened in a sudden move, reviling Wanda who froze to my sight, I pulled the covers on my body as she walked in with a look of hatred in her eyes, Ted's body trembled on my side and I knew Wanda was showing him a painful image. Then, I saw a figure behind Wanda. A pair of thunder storm blue eyes staring at me, his jaw dropped and I gasped as his eyes met mine, then moved to the sheet I was pressing on my exposed breast. Wanda turned around to meet Steve's eyes and then, to my shock, in a sudden movement slammed the door in his face.
"Wanda, open the door or I'll break it." Steve shouted
"You try to bust in here and I'll break your knees." She shouted back and Steve went silent. He was scared, he'd never heard that tone from her. Heck, I was scared.
She turned to me, moving toward me, she put a hand over my forehead.
"You're burning Nat."
"I think he drugged me." My voice was low and weak.
" Bastard" she shook her head and helped me sit up. She slowly pulled my dress up, placing the straws on my shoulders. She moved me, pulling a blanket on me, and threw the covers on him.
"You should see a doctor." She mumbled.
"No, he wouldn't do anything serious. It's fine" I replied my voice getting weaker.
She nodded and looked around the room.
"So, this is the safe?" She nodded to the safe in closet, he'd been in such a hurry that he didn't lock or close any of them. She looked at the bedroom door, then towards me, tilting her head with a question in her eyes.
I nodded in approval.
"Steve, you can come in."
Steve marched in the room, half running half walking to me and kneeled by my side on the ground.
"Are you ok? Did he hurt you? Why didn't you attack him? " he blurted, looking at my lips, neck and arms that were exposed and marked by his bites.
"He's drugged her." Wanda said in a scolding voice and Ted shivered again.
Steve jumped on his toes wishing to attack him, but knowing he would be out of control when he sees Ted's open belt and zipper... I sighed "Steve, please."
He looked at me, stopped and pulled me in a hug as he caressed my hair, cheeks and neck. Wanda went to the safe and took every single thing that was in there.
"We don't need all of them, Wanda." Steve explained to her.
"He hurt my sister, the only sister I've ever had, I could kill him for that." She spat and Steve nodded.
"Wanda, what memories are you showing him?" He asked again.
"His worst memory, his haunting memory." She looked at Steve " if your gonna tell me this isn't how we do thi-"
"No, keep it up. I don't care about a monster like that" he inhaled in my neck, I could hear him whisper prayers under his breath.
" monster like that?" I asked with a shaky voice.
" a monster who hurts the most beautiful soule on this planet." He whispered, still inhaling the scent of my neck. He placed a light kiss on my shoulder and then pulled back, his hands moved to the side of his jacket and pulled it off then helped me put it on. Placing a hand under my legs, he scooped me up and walked out. As he reached downstairs, I saw Vision and Sam pacing through the room.

They walked to us.
"How is she?" Sam demanded.
"Drugged, but not hurt." He answered. "At least not very much." He mumbled as we walked out of his house.
" how long will he see the visions?" Vision asked Wanda.
"Not long enough, but he'll be out for the night."
"Then we'll have to leave tonight," Steve stated "be ready in two hours, Hill has already got rooms in a hotel. I'll send them the papers as we get there." . They all nodded as we reached our front door. We walked through the door in silent, well they walked in, I was being carried.
Steve didn't speak a single world. He just took me to our room, walked to the bed and gently placed me on it. Then he turned and walked away.
"Steve" I called him as loud as I could, but still, it came out as a weak whisper...
" I'm not leaving." He turned around to kiss my forehead and walked to the curtains, pulling them closed. He walked back to me, sitting next to me and slowly pulled me in a tight hug, placing gentle kisses over my temples, cheeks and neck. My entire body relaxed as he caressed me, I felt safe.
"Go to sleep, don't fight it. I'll pack. There's nothing much actually. I'll call Wanda to change your clothes and I'll take you to the car when the time comes."
I pressed my head to his shoulder, then surrendered to the darkness.

Authors POV
Natasha stirred in her sleep as the blonde slowly lift her up from the car, taking her to the hotel entrance, but luckily she didn't wake up. He climbed the front stairs of the hotel and reached their friends who were standing in front of the elevator, waiting for them.
" so we've got two rooms, how're we gonna manage?" Sam asked looking at the keys as the they walked in the elevator .
" you'll take the room with us, if you're fine with that. Wanda and Vision can take the other." Steve replied a low voice, trying his best not to wake or disturb Natasha.
" actually, I was wondering if I could share with you two." Wanda said, looking at Steve with worried eyes while Vision gave her a confused look.
"Really? Why?" Steve wondered.
"In case she gets up and she's still stressed."
They all agreed and and got of the elevator moving to their rooms, Steve took Natasha inside their room and placed her on the bed, then he walked to the door while the rest were talking. He took all their luggage and looked at Wanda who was smiling shyly at Vision.
"Wanda, why don't you take the key and go for a short walk in the hotel's garden?" He gave her a small smile as Wanda smiled back and her eyes sparkled, then Steve turned to face Vision. "Just keep it short, ok?" His tone was a serious and protective that caused Wanda's smile to widen more.
Sam said his good nights and went to his room and Steve turned to Wanda before they left.
"Wanda, I put Nat on the king size bed, I'll take the single one, you can join Nat when you come back."
"Um, Steve, I'd actually rather take the single one. You guys have been on the mission for a while, I think she is used to having you around."
"Oh, ok. You're fine with the other though?"
"Yeah, really am."

Vision who had been quite for the entire time, turned to Steve and spoke firmly.
"Captain, we'll be back in about half an hour before you'd want to go to sleep, so you wouldn't need to worry."
"Good." Steve replied in a serious tone and nodded to both of them before heading back to their room.
The last thing he heard was Wanda's chuckles and smiled at her happiness.
He went straight to Natasha and removed her shoes and his coat he had placed on her before, and pulled the covers on her.
He took a shower and changed his clothes, then took his phone and the papers they had gained their hands on in the mission to the balcony and settled on a chair. He took pictures and send them to Hill. His phone rang immediately.
H: hey, how's she?
S: he drugged her Hill, if we didn't have Wanda....
His voice trailed off and he frowned.
H: she's safe now, don't worry. We have enough to take him in tonight. You've cleared the house, right?
S: yeah, took all the documents, nothing much left behind.
H: you taking her to a doctor?
S: no, she thinks it's fine. When are we coming back?
H: you should be at the airport tomorrow at 10. Fury wanted to send a quinjet but seems a bit too much, we don't wanna attract all the attention. You'll be taking a private plane home, Captain.
S: it's been long enough, I guess.
He smiled and they finished their phone call.
"So, you missing home?" Wanda's voice came from the door.
"Sure do, don't you?" He asked her as he gestured her to sit on the seat next to him.
"I do, but I didn't thought you would." She gave him a mischievous smile
"And why is that?" He looked confused.
"You know, here, you're engaged to Nat, back at home, your just partners, in missions."
His face saddened and he shook his head.
"Yeah, I know... I was hoping we'd get somewhere, but all this pressure and stress from this mission,... I don't think it's the right time."
"Come on grandpa, I thought you'd have learnt your lesson by now."
Steve looked at her with a hooked eyebrow.
"The whole Banner fiasco, remember?"
"Oh god, don't do this again." He shook his head and looked at her. "And speaking of events happening during missions, care to update me on yours?"
"What do you mean?" She gave him a shy smile and he saw her blush.
"You and Vision, what's up with that?"
"You know that" she blushed again.
"Actually, I don't. Is it serious? Does he treat you well?" His tone was serious again.
Back in the room, Natasha felt a cold breeze and slowly opened her eyes to find her self in an empty bed. She looked around searching for Steve. She found herself wearing a tank top and yoga pants, lying on a bed in a different room than their bedroom, which also seemed to be a hotel room. She saw the open door of the balcony. Wrapping the blanket around herself, she walked out the bed and to the door.
"You know how he is Steve, why are you so worried all of a sudden?"
She recognized the voice to be Wanda's.
"Yeah, I guess so... part of him is that gem that I have no idea what it is. Part is Tony, who was a play boy but changed after Pepper, part is Jarvis and he was always polite. And..." his voice trailed off.
"Bruce." She answered
"Yeah..."
"He wasn't a bad guy, you know that."
"Yeah, he wasn't. But he did hurt her. " he shook his head. "Just tell me, your happy, right?"
"Yeah." She said in a shy voice.
"And you'll tell me if anything comes up, right?"
"Yeah." She gave him a reassuring smile. "But I'm still not over our Natasha talk." Her mischievous smile reappeared.
Natasha's eyes widened and she stepped closer to the balcony.
"What about that?" He chuckled.
"You gonna take her out on a date, right?"
"We'll see about that."
Wanda opened her mouth to say something
"And by we, I mean Natasha and myself."
"Oh come on grandpa." She punched his arm playfully.
"Listen, right now, all I can think about is the stress this mission has had, I want all of us to spend some time together in peace." He looked at Wanda but a shadow captured his attention.
Natasha walked to the door and smiled.
"Hey you two, isn't it late for grandpa talk?" She grinned.
"Oh come on, I'm not that old" Steve shook his head and smiled.
"No you're not, you've still got a couple of centuries left." Wanda teased him as they both got up and walked to the door.
"Come on, we've got a lot of sleep to catch up on. We're going to airport in the morning." Steve told them as they walked inside and moved to their beds but as a realization hit him, he stood still and turned to the girls.
"We haven't had dinner though, you hungry?"
"Vision and I grabbed a bite in the hotel restaurant"
"I'm still a little sore from the drug, I'd rather sleep." Natasha replied as she stretched her hands above her head.
"Ok, sleep it is." Steve replied as a smile grew on his face to Natasha's sight.
They said their good nights and the girls got under covers while Steve locked the hotel door and walked to Wanda's bed and tucked her in.
"You know I'm not a child, right?" She chuckled.
"If I'm a grandpa then your a little girl." He smiled and placed a soft kiss on her forehead.
He walked back to their bed while Natasha stared at him with a playful smirk.
"What?"
"You know, you keep moving from grandpa to big brother and dad, I'm getting confused." She giggled at him.
"Yeah yeah." He laughed at her comment and got under covers.
"No tucking in for me, daddy?" She teased him.
"You know, I've heard daddy's used for different purposes in this time, and of which doesn't really contain tucking in." He whispered with a mischievous smile and rolled to his side, leaving Natasha with a dropped jaw to face his back.
Natasha laid back with wiede eyes and stared to the roof until sleep got the best of her.
Steve rolled on his back to check on her, seeing her fallen sleep, he pulled the blanket over her body, tucking her in, then resting on his side to drop his gaze on her face.
"Sleep well Nat, we're going home." He whispered to her and kept staring at her until he fell sleep as well.
