I woke up in a blood stained bed. I felt a pain in my stomach and all up my arms. I looked down, all my cuts where still on show. The sight of them almost made me through up. I don't why, but my shallow breathing was back. I sat up and looked around. I was, fortunately, in Wilbur's room. There was some more blood stains near where my head was, it was obvious I coughed up blood. I felt a bit light headed but I ignored it for now. I walked downstairs, Wilbur sat on the sofa watching tv. I opened the door slightly making a creaking noise come from it. Wilbur's head turned towards me causing me to hold my breathe. He got up from his spot and walked towards me. He opened up the door more to take a look at me. He saw my cuts and gasped.
"A-Alex.. I'm sorry I just-"
I knew what he was gonna say "I love you" I get it. I just realised that the cuts are deeper then before. I now realised Wil wasn't in front of me anymore. He came back with some bandages and a damp cloth. He wiped my cuts, I hissed in pain at the contact. He chuckled at the gasp I let out as soon as he wiped an extremely deep cut.
"B-be careful with t-those ones.."
I whispered to him. He looked up at me and smiled. He nodded and gently wiped the cut. Maybe he actually does love me. I looked at the time as Wilbur was bandaging my chest and stomach "8:00AM
Monday"
"SHIT WIL WE HAVE SCHOOL!"
He looked back up at and mouthed "oh shit". He finished bandaging me up and went upstairs to get changed. After we both got ready we set off for school.

I was in art class sitting next to George. We were about to start then the teacher said:
"Alright class, take off your blazers so they don't get dirty."
We all took off our blazers and rolled up our sleeves. I obviously completely forgot the cuts I had on my arm, thankfully they were only minor ones.
I heard the classroom go quiet which barely happens. I looked up and saw everyone looking at me, both worried and disgusted. I whispered to George if he knew what was happening.
"Q...your arms."
I looked at my arms, oh shit. Everyone saw the cuts,not surprised really since they are well on show. I continued painting like nothing happened and ignored anyone calling my name except if it was George. They can't find out.

The current schedule is chapters on M-W-F of around 2000-2500 words, as well as occasional bonus chapters that provide background or insights into side characters. This is my first real attempt at writing a full novel, but the story is based on a world that I've been creating and re-creating since I was a child. I have an extensive "history" and religion, and even a semi-cohesive language system worked out, which will hopefully slowly shine through as the story progresses. I want to avoid having too many info-dumps, so I may from time to time post a bonus lore chapter that will explain some of the background for any who are interested.
