•so you and nate have been friends for only a few months, you meeting him merely by just bumping into him while walking down the street and you two had just started to talk and surprisingly, you both got along really well.

•it didn't take long for you to give him your number and him give you his, nate always being ready to give you his number while you of course had some hesitation since you had just met him at that time and wasn't so sure about him, but his kind nature reassured you enough.

•at first, he was honestly very shy around you, even though he knew he truly loved you and cared for you, he just was very reserved around you because you knew it was just his personality and you honestly didn't mind it at all and liked that about nate.

•even though he may be shy and reserved for a while, that doesn't mean that his personality wouldn't get him in the way of what he wants. after becoming closer with you within these few months, he would be by your side as much as possible, but he wouldn't mind that you would want/need your space and would respect that.

•nate would also try everything in his power to make sure that yours and his relationship would turn out picture perfect as it should be. if that meant removing some people from the picture, then he guesses it would have to be that way, but that would be a last resort in nate's mind.

•you would always want to hang out with him since his personality was so open and kind, yet reserved and shy. you guessed that's what drew you to nate and that was the plan all along of course. get you to like him more than just a friendly way after some time.

•if you were to say you were busy and couldn't hang out with nate, he would be determined to figure out what you were doing that was so important that you couldn't hang out with him. so, he would simply watch over you to make sure you weren't hurt or lying to him. you know, being a good friend after all.

•besides, you two would be together sooner than later in his mind. so, why not do the logical thing and make sure that you were safe and sound in the comfort of your home that you claimed to be. that is what he's for anyways. right?
