《My Deadliest Secret {COMPLETED}》Chapter 15

I walked into my house. My mom was still at work. My brother was probably at his friends. I walked upstairs, into my room. I started doing my homework.
Five hours later, I finished. It takes me forever to do my homework. I use to finish my homework fast, but now I don't. I don't know what's wrong with me. I heard a door slam. I looked out my window. It was my mom and brother. I didn't want to go downstairs. I wanted to be alone. Instead of going downstairs I turned on my tv and watched Jeff Dunham Arguing With Himself. Jeff always makes me laugh. Except this time I didn't.
I was about to take a nap, but then my mom called me to come downstairs. Food was ready on the table. Vegitarian tacos. My mom knew I was a vegitarian. My mom was still wearing her clothers for her work. My brother was wearing blue jeans and a red collar shirt. I was gonna make an exscuse but my annoying mom said, "Is something wrong?" I shook my head no. "Your not leaving this time. Your brother and I are worried about you. We never see you eat anymore. And you loss to much weight." C.J was sitting down watching me carefully.
I sat down. I picked at my food. I just cracked into pieces, throwing it all over my plate. I was to depressed to eat and also didn't want to eat. "Eat, Viotet." I shook my head.
"Have you heard of Anorexia Nervosa?" C.J finally said. "We learned that in school."
I angrily stood up. "You actually think I have that?" Mom and C.J looked startled. "Don't leave until you eat," my mom said. I ignored her. I stomped upstairs, into my room. I didn't even eat.

I grabbed my cell phone. It was a text message from Jinx.
'Can we talk.... Right now?'
I texted back.
'Sure. Where?'
'the cabin'
I walked downstairs, ignoring my mom and brother. I walked passed the woods into the cabin. It was dark and raining outside. The weather went great with my mood. I knocked on the cabin door. Jinx answered. He moved aside to let me in. Jinx was wearing a Black Veil Brides band tee with black torn skinny jeans. Black Veil Brides was playing through his surround sound speakers from his iPod.
"Hello," I said. "what do you want?" I wasn't in the mood for being nice.
"Look. I'm sorry for yelling at you like that. I just like you as a friend better. And I didn't go to school because I was afraid of what would happen between us. I want us to be friends. It was a mistake to kiss you." he said. He seemed calm. I nodded. I thought it would better to be just friends. Less drama, right?
"Are you ok?" he asked.
"I'm getting tired of everyone asking me that" I admitted.
"Everybody?"
I nodded. "I don't want to talk about it."
"Is it because of me?"
"No" I said. "It's not important."
He nodded.
"I guess it's getting late. Maybe I should leave." I gave Jinx a hug goodbye before leaving.

A King in the Clouds
Tanlar. A cruel, repulsive, and foul word. It meant untitled, officially, but it also meant ungifted, unable, unworthy, unnecessary, unhuman. It was more a curse than a term, a badge only the damned and condemned wore. To be a tanlar was to know your life, your entire being, was insignificant. Once Kaizer had resigned himself to such a fate, but those times had passed. He may have been untitled, but he was anything but untalented. He refused to scrape by at the bottom of society. Those who stood above him could sneer all they liked, but he wouldn’t suffer being stepped on for long. He’d be better, much better. But of course he would be. ‘Fate’ demanded it so. [Participant in the Royal Road Writathon challenge] What To Expect: The story of a boy becoming a man becoming a king + everything that entails. Largely gamelit, but later arcs could be called litrpg. Also schemes. A lot of schemes. I do love some good ol' fantasy politics and intrigue. Minimum Word Count a Week: TBA after Writathon Release Time(s): Daily for as long as I can/until the end of the Writathon. I also write The Deathseeker [Returning Dec 5th]
