《My Deadliest Secret {COMPLETED}》Chapter 6

I had a terrible feeling on my stomach. No, not because I was hungry, but because Jayy was driving closer to McDonald's. I had to make an excuse to why I can't eat there. I heard McDonalds had 490 calories or more. I don't remember. " uhm... Jayy, I'm a vegetarian," I kinda lied. Maybe if I was a vegetarian I could eat less. Jayy looked at me. He gave me his "what the fuck is wrong with you," look.
"Hello! Earth to Violet! I'm a vegan!" I mentally slapped myself. I forgot Jayy was a vegan "What are we gonna eat?" I asked as Jayy parked the car. "Salad, Violet, salas!!!" I covered my ears. "ok Jayy!!!" I yelled back.
Jayy opened the door to McDonald's. I walked in and sat at a table in the corner. "I'm gonna pay. Stay right here. Don't wonder off." "Do I look like a dog to you?" he walked off. He mumbled something that I didn't quite understand. It sounded like he said "a cute puppy." I shrugged it off and waited for Jayy. I smiled. It looked like the girl working at the cash register was flirting with Jayy. I don't think Jayy even knew. I saw him laugh. It made chuckle. Jayy could be so clueless. Jayy left and came back smiling. He sat down.
"You didn't even notice did you?" I asked.
" I don't think so since I don't know what the hell your talking about."
"The girl at the cash register like you." I smirked. Jayy blushed deeply. "Jayy," the girl called. She winked at Jayy. I don't think she even noticed me. Jayy looked at me, hesitated before getting up, then went to go get the salads. Jayy came back shaking.

" Are you okay?" I asked. He blushed again. "The girl makes me nervous now," he confessed. I rolled my. Jayy handed me a plate of salad. " Uh... I thought I told you I didn't want to eat." I said.
" Nooo you didn't."
"Yes I did Jayy."
"No. You just said you were a vegetarian. You didn't say you weren't hungry." he whispered so people couldn't hear.
"Jayy I-" he cut me off.
"Violet, just eat. It's not like your gonna get fat from salad." My cheeks went red. I didn't believe what Jayy just said. " Violet, I noticed you've loss some weight. I think it because you don't eat."
" I do eat, Jayy. I'm just... Eh... On a diet." I guess it's a diet
Jayy shook his head. " people don't starve themselves when they're on diets."
"Well, I don't starve myself." I was getting frustrated/angry. I didn't like when Jayy did this.
Jayy leaned forward and looked into my eyes. I could feel his breath on my cheek. "If you don't starve yourself," he whispered, "then prove it by eating." I glared. "No."
"Then I don't believe you." he leaned back into his seat and narrowed his eyes at me. I opened the container and started eating my salad. Jayy did the same. I ate it. I felt terrible. There was a voice inside my head saying " Stop. Don't eat. Your going to get fat." I ignored it and kept on eating.
When Jayy and I finished eating we went into his car so he could finally take me home. As we drove to my house I turned on my iPod and played Escape the Fate - My Apocalypse. I had a terrible feeling in my stomach. The argument Jayy and I had kept replaying in my head over and over. Jayy never really got mad at. I felt bad that I made him worried. A tear rolled down my cheek. The car stopped.

I felt someone tap my shoulder. I felt a tingle run through my spine. It was Jayy who tapped my shoulder. I forgot I was in his car. I blushed. " Are you okay? " he asked. Another tear tickled town my cheek. I also forgot I was crying. I ignored Jayy and looked outside. We were outside my house. I didn't feel like talking. I hated talking when I talked. I opened the door to Jayy's car. Before I could leave Jayy grabbed my hand. "Not until you tell me what's wrong." he said. "You stupid bitch." I slapped him and ran inside my house. I ignored my mom and brother as I ran upstairs into my room. I checked to see if Jayy left. He did.
I laid on my bed, on stomach, crying on my pillow. I slapped Jayy because I was mad at him for making me eat. I didn't mean to. I don't know what got into me. I got up off my bed. I didn't feel like exercising today. I felt horrible. Instead, I went into my bathroom to make myself throw up. My head rested on the cool toilet bowl. I threw up again. I flushed the toilet.
I laid on my bed wondering if Jayy would talk to me at school. I never cussed at him. I never slapped him... Well I never did those thing because I was mad. I checked my phone. I already had missed calls from Jayy. I decided to call Jayy back.
"Hello." he answered
I opened my mouth but words wouldn't come out.
"Hello?? Violet? Are you there?"
I don't know why couldn't speak. I hung up on him. I rested my head on my knees. I sighed in frustration. "What's wrong with me?" I asked myself. Tomorrow is going to be an awkward day for Jayy and I.

Condemned
“The human body is a fragile thing. But the soul... The soul is malleable. Easily tainted. All it takes is one drop of blood to dye it all red.” Long ago, in a time remembered only by a few, the seven lords of Syvernia, led by the Great Hero Ludwig, ended the Great Calamity that plagued humanity for as long as time itself. It was the dawn of a new age of man. . . until the thirst for more poisoned the new lords. Slowly, the thread that held humanity together loosened and a thick haze consumed the lands between. Mysterious vanishings, supernatural forces, and silence warns of a looming threat inside the coat of fog. Though the struggle of the realms did not interest Leor, for he was condemned as a Purblight, until he took a seemingly simple job: escort Alden to Lightendale and collect the handsome reward, a reward that would let him live the rest of his life with ease. But it’s never that simple, especially for someone who denounced the Gods. All his life, death followed Leor everywhere he went, cutting down his friends and family. When his first love died at the hands of an agent of light, he was prepared to throw everything away until a mysterious voice promised him a chance for retribution and a chance to bring her back by completing the seven trials. Thrown into the realm's struggle against the approaching haze and themselves, will Leor, a Purblight and an acquaintance of tragedy, use the very power he disdains to accomplish his goals? This is the rewrite of my novel: Condemned; I changed it to past tense and added/ took out some ideas from the original. This is essentially the first draft since I'm writing as I go. Also, there might be or might not be Gore, Sexual, or Traumatizing content. I only put it there for a disclaimer in case I want to add it. I have no set release schedule yet, but I'll try to post once every 2 week. Thanks for your patience.
