《My Deadliest Secret {COMPLETED}》Chapter 2

In the morning I got up out of bed and went to change for school. I wore some comfortable jeans and a red shirt with black converse. I went downstairs to eat a bowl of Coco puffs. My mom was probably asleep. When I got downstairs my brother C.J was already there eating cereal.
"Do we have to walk to school?"
"Yes C.J. And your walking by yourself. My school is farther from yours this time."
"Then I'm leaving already! You can stay and eat like a pig!"
"Good luck in being in 8th grade! It's gonna be complete hell!" I shouted before he slammed the door and left. When I finished eating my phone buzzed. It was Jayy.
"Are you ready for school?"I could tell he was smiling.
" yes, Jayy!"
"Do you want a ride?"
"Sure." I Hung up and waited for Jayy to pick me up. He got to my house and I got in car.
"Are you excited?" Jayy asked when I got in.
"No. I'm nervous!" He sighed and kept driving to school. We got out of his car and walked in the school. Jayy grabbed my schedule and studied it, "hey we have the same schedule." he smiled and I followed silently to our first period class ignoring the stares I got from people I walked past by. Jayy and I sat in the back like always. The bell rang and kids shove into class and sat into their seats. Our teacher named Mrs. Waggle came into class. "Eveyone sit in your seats. I'm your English teacher. My name is Mrs. Waggle and for starters we are gonna read Walk Two Moons. Get your books out and turn to chapter one." I got the book out and started reading. The next period was history which bored me. Next to periods were math then lunch.

Jayy and I walked to lunch together. We grabbed our lunches and sat a table. "I'll be back I have to the bathroom." I nodded and drank my juice. " Damn Violet!" I turned around. It was Nate and his twin sister Fate. "You got huge!" it was Fate who was doing all the talking. Nate was pulling his sister's arm. Nate was nice, shy, and quiet. Fate was nice but said things that were mean and she wouldn't know she was being mean unless you told her. "Come on Fate. Let's go." Nate begged Fate. Fate giggled at me and walked away with her brother. I saw some people pointing and laughing at me. I got up and threw away my lunch. Jayy came out of the bathroom. " What's wrong?" he asked. "I'm not hungry anymore."
I got out of the cafeteria and left school. I didn't know what to do. Either go home and get in trouble by my mom or go back to school and let people tell me how fat I am. I wasn't the type of person to stick up for myself. I wasn't tough. I was weak, afraid of hurting people's feeling. I decided to go home. Maybe my mom was at work. She didn't work yesterday so maybe she would work today.
While I was home I thought maybe walking to school and back would be a good exercise. When I got home i looked for my mom but she wasn't there, which was good. I took a nap and thought of how I could start losing weight for tomorrow.
When I woke up the time was 7:35. I knew my was home cooking dinner but I won't eat. I checked my phone and saw that I had 5 missed calls and they were all from Jayy. I called him back. "hello." "Hi Jayy."

"What happened, Violet? You had me worried!"
"I had anxiety," I lied.
"Oh well, next time don't just run off like that!"
" Okay Dad," I joked
" Not funny!"
"Okay I gotta go it's getting late."
"Kay bye!" and he quickly hung up.
I went downstairs to see what my mom were making. "I hope your hungry, Violet." she smiled. Me and C.J looked nothing like our mom. She had red hair while me and C.J had our father's dark hair. C.J had mom's curly hair and I had straight hair.
" No thanks mom. I'm going to Jayy's house," I lied. I wasn't going to Jayy's house. I was going to the gym to work out. Mom frowned but her frowned wiped away and she smiled. " Okay. Just make sure you eat." I nodded and went to the closest gym. I started running to the gym. When I finished working out I ran back home. When I got home I was EXHAUSTED! I walked into the kitchen and got a drink of water. I looked at the time and it was 9:50. I walked into the living room where C.J was.
" You look tired." he said.
" I am. Is mom asleep?"
"Yeah."
I walked upstairs, took a shower, and went to sleep.

Under a Boundless Sky
If you were to ask someone what they thought of Revian Snow, they would say that she's small. Cute too. Doesn't talk much. Average grades, and hard to find in a crowd, though you'd think that someone with her looks would be more noticeable. She also plays the popular VRMMO's for some reason, but doesn't like to interact with others too much, even online. In short, she doesn't stand out too much. She likes it that way—After all, it's much easier to keep a secret when nobody's looking for one. If you enjoy my work, please consider supporting me on Patreon. 8 395Waking Up
The story of Larin the Builder in the aftermath of Awakening This short story is the epilogue of Awakening, the first book of the Chronicles of Mother's Gate series. This epilogue is a great follow-up to the novel, a bonus story that adds extra layers between books without being necessary to the main storyline.Waking Up follows the story of Larin, who is alive but unconscious after her ordeal in the Nine Hells. She awakens in A'lara City a few days later and recuperates under the steadfast care of her repentant friend Jorn.As she reacclimates to her waking state, Larin struggles with her gruesome memories of the Hells and her decision to conceal them from Jorn. This story answers the question, Is Larin all right? with a resounding yes, and some storms on the horizon. It also raises the question, What happened to her down there? and includes an excerpt from the sister story Falling Down, about Larin's ordeal in the Nine Hells. Praise for Waking Up and Falling Down: Loved it. The difference between the two stories is great! The difference between Waking Up and Falling Down is astounding. So much light and love in the first story. You feel safe reading it. Healing. The second, so much darkness, pain and despair. The choice of vocabulary is awesome and makes an impact. And this set of short stories ties the two books together so well.-- Dana V. of Texas ★★★★★
