《Nightwalker》Chapter Seven

"Have a good day Purple." Mercy smiled up at me and I rolled my eyes before leaving.
Sylvia and I made it to the dining hall and I was surprised that no one was there yet when I walked in, but there were servants walking around cleaning everything.
I sat down at the table watching everyone move around the room and it seemed that everyone in the room was watching me back in open interest like I was a new ornament or statue people could gawk at. It made me nervous. The doors suddenly opened and I stood up as lady Beatrice walked in with a brunette in tow wearing the servants dress like Mercy and Sylvia wore. Lady Beatrice's eyes widened in seeing me and I couldn't help but think how beautiful this woman was with her curled black hair that bounced healthily as she walked and her cold silver eyes seemed to just capture me in their gaze. Beatrice's eyes turned to Sylvia and they seemed to widen that tad bit more.
"I'm surprised." She stated first before I could greet her.
"About what my lady?" I asked her confused.
"That you didn't kill her or have hurt any one in the mansion yet." Beatrice answered.
I frowned slightly. "Why would I want to kill her or hurt anyone my lady?" I asked her before realising that her reaction was the same as Mercy's. "Oh, do you mean because I have only been awake only a day and normally those who have just been changed find it harder to control their hunger and end up killing the first time they feed from a human?"
"Yes exactly." Beatrice confirmed as she sat down in her seat and I did the same across from her. "We've had many problems in the past where a newly changed can't control themselves and end up killing many of the servants before Aviva or myself can stop them."
"I've always had a strong control over my hunger, even as a human. I was starving for most of my life. This is no different from being in the middle of the markets on a warm summers day surrounded by sweet smelling fruits and just baked bread and not being able to touch any of it." I told her with a small smile remembering the torture of it all.
The doors swung open again before Beatrice could speak. My Mistress walked into the hall smiling happily, Georgia walking in behind her. "Ah huh! I was right! I knew my pet was something else." She laughed her molten gold eyes glittering as she looked at Sylvia then to me.
I stood up and bowed slightly to her. "Good morning Mistress."
"It is in deed my pet." My Mistress smiled. "You have just proven to me how grand your control is and that truly makes me happy. I've never had such a pet before."
"Thank you Mistress." I blushed from her praises and sat down after she had taken her own seat.
"I have a feeling I should name you now, but I won't. You have only been awake a whole day and you've already impressed me so much. I can't wait to for even more great things from you my pet. I'd name you now but we still have forever yet." My Mistress smiled at me before turning to her sister and started speaking of the work that was to be done today. During breakfast a man walked in holding a message for my Mistress and taking it from Georgia's hand, who took the scroll from the messenger, she read it swiftly with a frown. She looked at me then held the scroll out towards me after a second making me confused. "Can you read this?" She asked me.

I blushed deeply in embarrassment and slightly afraid. "I apologise Mistress, but I have not been taught how to read or write. Receiving such tutelage while on the street is..." I thought of the word. "Impossible."
My Mistress frowned at me before sighing. "That will have to be something we must rectify. Beatrice, will you teach my pet how to read and write?" My Mistress turned to her sister.
Beatrice frowned at her before looking at me for a second then nodded. "I will. We'll start tomorrow in the morning then that afternoon you'll go to Galen for your combat training."
"Thank you my lady." I thanked her gratefully and sincerely knowing that she didn't have to if she didn't want to.
"You're welcome." She nodded to me before turning back to her sister. "What does it say?" She then asked referring to the scroll my Mistress still held.
"Marcus has invited us to one of his gatherings." She answered in a drawl.
"Will we attend?" Beatrice asked.
"I don't see why we shouldn't." My Mistress shrugged before standing. "It is in two days time, get a suitable attire and hope that it won't end as badly as last time."
"I do believe that was the dukes fault for the abrupt halt to Marcus' last gathering." Beatrice sighed standing with her sister and I stood too.
"Thank god he's dead now." My Mistress said rolling her eyes before waving at me in a dismissive sign. "You can go to your training with Galen now, tell him about your lessons with Beatrice in the mornings."
"Yes Mistress." I bowed to the two highly beautiful women as they walked out of the dining hall.
"Is it just me or are those two really intimidating?" Sylvia asked from behind me with a sigh.
I smiled at her as I left the hall going towards my room. "I believe they are just two very beautiful women that don't look like they belong on this mortal plane." I told her truthfully.
"Hmm, yes, I agree." Sylvia nodded her head.
We made it to my room and Sylvia went to a door that leads into a wardrobe where she came back out with my training attire of a white cotton shirt, brown leather pants, leather boots and a wrap to go around my breasts. I changed quickly and tied my hair up into a high tail. "You can stay here and do... whatever you do. I'll be back by dinner." I told Sylvia who frowned at me.
"Why do I have to stay?" She asked. "I'm meant to basically follow you everywhere you go."
I frowned at her slightly not wanting her to watch me get my backside kicked by Galen. "You'll distract me." I told her simply. "All my senses will be at their highest peak and having a human near would make it hard to concentrate because I haven't had blood today and I would be able to smell it from you."
"Then just have some now." Sylvia said stepping towards me.
"And risk you fainting because you're too stubborn to rest? No thank you, I don't want to do that to you." I shook my head.
Sylvia groaned at me. "I want you to my lady." Sylvia said seriously walking up to me and wrapping her arms around me and tilting her head slightly so that I could see her neck. My senses heightened and my teeth lengthened. "If you take blood from me now I promise I'll stay in this room all day till you came back."

"You have to eat and drink as well." I told her after a short silence considering it.
Sylvia nodded while tightening her arms around me. "I promise."
I sighed and placed my hands on her hips bringing my face to hers till our noses touched and a blush formed slightly on her cheeks. "Fine, but you're not allowed to strain yourself." I warned her and she nodded slightly.
With that I kissed her and she responded quickly turning her head for a deeper connection. I moved my hands from her hips and picked her up so that her legs wrapped around my waist and I pressed her back against the closest wall. She moaned into my mouth when my hands moved from her thighs to her backside and squeezed it. Wanting a deeper taste of this woman I pushed my tongue into her mouth making her moan louder as I tasted her and her tongue met mine. Sylvia was rocking against me as we kissed her hands clenching into my shoulders pulling me more into her. I rocked with her creating friction against her centre as her dress hiked up to her waist exposing her toned legs. I pulled back from the heated kiss and started licking and kissing up and down her neck as she caught her breath.
I trailed the tips of my sharpened teeth along her neck smelling her blood as I pushed more firmly against her making Sylvia moan. I held her up with one arm and moved my right hand between us to her centre where I felt it wet and ready. I pushed two of my fingers into her and they glided in unhindered because of her juices. Sylvia gasped then moaned loudly as she started to move more frantically. I moved my fingers harder into her as she rocked against me feeling more of her juices seep out and cover my hand. Her arousal was everywhere and the smell of it and her blood had my stomach clenching in need and hunger that I couldn't fight any longer. I pumped into her faster and harder making her moan in bliss, which turned into a cry of pleasure when I bit into her neck. Her aroused blood filled my mouth, a toxic drug to all my senses, and I felt my own eyes roll into the back of my head from the pleasure of it. I never stopped moving my fingers within Sylvia. Making sure my bite doesn't hurt I thought of the pleasure I felt last night and from my Mistress.
The please i caused with my bite pushed Sylvia over the edge but I continued drinking from her neck and moving my fingers. Her nails dug into the back of my neck and I felt blood but I didn't stop, I was on a high and it felt amazing. Sylvia cried out again her body trembling in my arms and her blood becoming tarter in my mouth. I moaned against her as I felt her walls around my fingers tighten again for the second time and more juices rushed out of her. Sylvia was suddenly so lax in my arms I froze wondering if I had gone too far with this human. Her arms hung off my shoulders weakly and I pulled back from her neck licking the bite wound willing it to close and heal, I was surprised when it did only leaving two small scars. I tried to look at Sylvia but her face was in my neck making it hard to see if she was alright. I could feel her breath on me so I knew she was breathing but I still worried that I'd hurt her somehow. I pulled my fingers out of her and was rewarded with a groggy moan.
"Sylvia, are you alright?" I asked her softly.
Sylvia tried to shift in my arms but the movement seemed to be too hard on her because she just went limp again. "I can't feel anything but an amazing tingling inside me." She giggled breathlessly. "Oh, that felt amazing."
I wrapped my arms around her holding her up against me as I walked to the bed and placed her down softly and slowly. I looked down at her worried. She could barely keep her eyes open and her arms fell from around my neck limp. "Are you sure you're alright Sylvia?" I asked her seriously as I placed a hand to her cheek.
She giggled again breezily. "I'm fine my lady, I just feel a bit warn out and weak. I've never felt like this before, you're truly amazing my lady." She lifted a hand to my face with difficulty and tried to rub the frown lines on my forehead away. "I'm serious my lady, this is a good thing. You haven't hurt me, I just feel very sensitive down there right now."
My frown deepened. "How is you basically unable to move a good thing?" I asked her.
She smiled at me. "Because it means you truly are good with your hands. I'm literally worn out by the pleasure you made me feel."
I blushed at her and sighed. Her hand dropped from my face and I tucked her in under the sheets. "Rest, don't push yourself. I will see you tonight." I told her and kissed her on the forehead.
Sylvia didn't answer because she was already asleep. I shook my head still worried about her before turning away and walking out of my room. I headed to the bathroom, which was empty and washed my hands before heading to the basement where Galen would be waiting for her. I walked down into the dark room to see Galen waiting in the middle.
"I apologise if I'm late, sir." I apologised to him when I walked in.
"You just made it, next time I suggest you get here earlier." Galen told me stonily.
"Yes sir." I nodded my head in understanding.
"Good, I'm going to show you how to punch and kick properly before me start." Galen said and started instructing me in how to use as many muscles as I could when throwing a punch. It took ten minutes for him to explain the different areas on the body I should aim at when I'm using my fist, palm, elbow, head, knee and leg to attack and how to throw each one with the most power. After the explanation and him making me show him how to do them all properly we started with the same training as yesterday, I run at him, while pleading to god that he won't utterly destroy me.
After the fifth run and my left knee, two of my right ribs and my nose being broken I sat on the ground waiting for them to heal. Galen hadn't moved an inch from where he started, it annoyed me but I knew why, I wasn't using all of my heightened senses. I stood up once my healing was done and expanded my senses to the highest level. It was such a strange feeling, like a could feel the air around me thrumming with tension and energy that was thick enough that it felt like I could just grab a handful of it and mould it. I moved my hands around slowly feeling the thickness of the energy in the air. I closed my right hand and positioned myself to throw a punch to Galen's head even though he was easily five-body length away from me. I felt my right hand start to feel heavy as I imagined the energy in the air rapping around it like a coiled snake ready to spring forth and attack.
I felt the earth under my booted feet and the slightest movement of the air when Galen and I breathe. I smelt Galen's scent and blood in front of me. I could see the slightest twitch of his body as it moved to keep himself balanced and up right. Even when you thought you were standing still, your body is always moving to keep itself balanced. I could hear the sound of our heart beats, the movement of the air as we breathe and the slightest rustle of our clothing as we moved.
It was an amazing feeling as power and energy welled up inside me and weighted my fist until I felt like I was about to burst. I pulled my arm back, twists my feet on the ground as I swung my hips and threw my arm towards Galen letting the energy and power that weighed my hand down go.
Truthfully I didn't think anything was going to happen. I was just practicing a swing and imagining finally hitting Galen in the face. So both Galen and I were completely taken aback when I felt, and literally saw, the air ripple straight at Galen hitting him in the chest and sending him back into the stonewall that was covered with weapons behind him. The sound of multiple cracks sounded through the room and the ceiling shuddered. Galen fell to the ground leaving a large dent and crack in the wall he was thrown into and the weapons he hit were bent out of shape and broken. I gapped at the fallen man and the large crack in the wall when the door to the basement opened and both my Mistress and lady Beatrice walked in. I looked at them in shock as they seemed just as shock to see Galen passed out on the ground on the other side of the room from me.
"What the hell happened here?" My Mistress demanded of me and all I could do was open and close my mouth, no words coming to mind or out of my mouth.
I was suddenly hit by a huge wave of nausea and dizziness and the next second I found myself face first on the ground unable to move my body and before I realise it everything was black.
The last thing I remember are a pare of beautiful silver eyes staring at me in shock.

The world isn't fair. If anything, the inherent injustice of the world is what separates it from the fiction we so adore. Luis Freighthold knew this all too well, and that was why it took a bit longer than it should have to realise when he suddenly had everything he could ever have wanted. Raised in a working-class single-father home, Luis had no other escape than fiction. Specifically, vampire stories of varying quality and genre. There was something appealing about the ability to fly, turn into shadows and become smoke. Danger. An unfamiliarity with the social world that rejected him so. Was it so wrong for him to hope for a different life? Maybe, maybe not. Either way, now he had it—a lust for blood and abilities beyond the understanding of civil man. Could you really say that he had anything left to complain about? A vampire story following an unconventional vampire boy forced to accept that maybe becoming a vampire doesn't magically solve all your problems. As a matter of fact, it might just make a whole bunch of them even worse. Regardless, Luis is prepared to try everything to live up to the vampire books he had previously gorged on. What did it matter that his vampire form had no teeth, replaced instead by a long, needle-tipped tongue? He was still a vampire, wasn't he?
