《Kissing You》Kissing You; Chapter 29; We Both Need More Pt2/2

I stare at the ring then look back into those dreamy gray eyes. I gasp for words but nothing comes out. My soul seems to have disappeared with my croaky voice. "I um..well I erm..." I love him, more than my heart can contain. "Yes," I whisper, unsure of my own words. He raises his brow at me then stares at me in astonishment. "Well did I stutter?" I stretch my lips to a sweet smile. "Yes! I'll marry you!"
Before I can acknowledge what I had just said, the restaurant fills with standing ovations and roars of cheering. He pops the ring out of the velvet holder then takes my left hand out by the tips of my fingers, delicately twirling his fingers through mine. I spread out my fingers so he's able to slowly slide the gorgeous divine ring through my fourth finger. I gaze at every slow motion that send sparkles down my spine and fireworks in my heart. This is actually happening! He rises up from the ground with a pleasant smile on his handsome face then softly kisses me on my sweetly aroused lips.
"I love you," he breathes in between kisses.
"I love you too."
He leaves me breathless. I drown out the noise of the cheering and clapping and forget where I even I am. Its just me and him stuck in the moment again. But this time I'm going to become Mrs Sasha Carlson and we have a little baby girl on the way. Life couldn't get any better.
People finally begin to surround and crowd us. Congratulations being thrown at us both left, right and every corner. Pictures everywhere and to be honest I don't even care. I'm too busy smiling and being happy with the man of my life to care what people think about me. Whether I'm a slut for being pregnant at seventeen or being a gold-digging whore because my fiancé just so happens to be swimming in money and filthy rich-it doesn't bother me because even though I've lost a lot over the past few month I've gained so much, all through my loving, caring, tender bad boy.
"We should go now," Kyle whispers in my ear with his hand interlocked with mine. I nod in agreement and we slowly make our way out the restaurant oblivious to the fact that people still want to ask questions and be the nosey little fuckers that they are.
The night is beautiful, the moon is out and the light breeze is marvellous against my hot flustered face. I hold my bump with my right hand then hold my out left hand in front of me and gaze at my dazzling diamond ring, resisting the darkness and reflecting off the glowing moonlight. We pull further away from the restaurant and make our way around the dark deserted streets. But I'm not scared-Kyle always keeps me safe and I always feel safe when I'm with him.
"Do you know where we're going?" I giggle with my arm still hooked through his and my feet begin to burn against the tough concrete.
He gives me shy laugh, before smoothly running his tongue against his bottom lip. "Of course I do baby girl. Don't be scared."
"Who says I'm scared?" I laugh.
"Hush. We're almost there."
We turn another dark corner and I can see the park in the distance now. I really need to sit down, I think I have blisters now. A gang of boys approach in front of us, five of them precisely and my heart begins the pounding process. I look up at Kyle but he doesn't look one bit alarmed. As we get closer the tension rises immaculately. I keep my head down and hope that nothing bad happens. One of them barges into Kyle, making us stop.

"Dude, what's your problem?" Kyle snarls. They boys' faces remain dark and hidden.
"I have so many problems with you." The voice replies, and its not hard to recognise who that voice is. The boy turns around and flicks his hood back down to reveal those emerald eyes that once used to something I loved but now they're something I fear.
His dirty blond hair blows in the breeze as his eyes shuffle across the both of us. "Jake," I exhale in astonishment.
"I'm glad you still remember my name," he smirks. Kyle let's go of me and slowly approaches Jacob so they're face to face. No don't let go of me!
"You better step out my way before I knock the shit out of you," Kyle snarls. Jacob says nothing and just smirks.
"Grab him," Jacob quickly orders. Two of the boys rapidly grab each of his arms, preventing him from breaking free. I attempt to rips the boy's grasps away from him but another two quickly hold me back with my arms. I scream and tear for Kyle but the more I cry, the more Jacob throws accurate punches at Kyle.
"Stop it!" I yell as he continues throw punches at Kyle, not caring for my pain.
"Not so tough now, are you?" Jacob whispers. The tears start to trickle down my face, watching my baby coughing and gasping for air, with no defense whatsoever. Kyle's hair flips over his face as his head remains down.
"Baby," I whisper, my voice beginning to crack and my throat becoming hoarse.
"Jacob...you son of a bitch...if I ever catch you...on the streets...then..I'll fucking kill you," Kyle snarls, his breath short and difficult to detect. Jacob throws another punch to his stomach, making his knees break down to the ground but the boys aggressively pull him up to his feet again.
"Jacob, please stop! I'm sorry! For everything!" I scream, my voice barely audible and my ears bleeding with furious tears. He stops and stares at me.
"He should be the one who's sorry," Jacob hisses.
"No! You've got it all wrong. He's never done anything wrong-the fight...he only wanted to protect me and I'm sorry everything escalated like it did! Please just let him go!" They boys' grasp on me tightens as I struggle and twist.
"No, no, no, Sasha! You've got it all wrong! He's taken everything I ever loved away from me and he needs to be taught that not everything goes his way!" He throws another vicious punch to his stomach and Kyle continues to cough out blood. My heart breaks and my throat aches.
"Don't do this," I exhale. He turns his head back to Kyle who still has his head down.
"First you took my mom and then you took Sasha away from me!" He yells.
"You never had Sasha to begin with and you never will," Kyle hisses, his voice barely audible but full of infinite pain.
"Don't blame Kyle about what happened to your mom. He was just as upset as you were and its no one's fault that she died of cancer but look at it from his perspective, not everything lasts forever and I think you're just looking for someone to blame!"
"Died of cancer? Died of cancer?" He scoffs. "Are these the fucking lies he's been feeding you? You're more vulnerable and gullible than I thought." What's that supposed to mean?
I glare down at Kyle and he peers back at me with his stone-cold fluroscent eyes. "W-what you talking about? He told me everything." I raise my left brow at Kyle as he turns his focus back to the ground.

"Your precious boyfriend lied to you! Yes! My mom had cancer but...that's not how she died," Jacob replies as he moves away from Kyle and comes closer to me. His eyes drop down to my bump then back up at me. "He's knocked you up and all," he whispers with a hint of disgust in his tone.
"Its not like that...we both want to keep the baby and how did she die then if it wasn't for cancer? Just get to the fucking point Jake!"
"Maybe we should ask the boy himself." Jacob swivels on his feet and strolls back to Kyle. "Go on. Tell your girlfriend about what you done to mom...tell her how you killed her!" What? My body freezes and my limbs weaken.
"It...wasn't like...that," Kyle breathes, only to receive another punch to the stomach.
"Tell her! Tell her the truth! Tell her how you're a murderer!"
"She...told me to do it. She was in pain and I couldn't...I couldn't...watch her cry for the pain to end," Kyle starts. "So she told me to overdose her pills for her...so I did it and she died in my arms." I gulp and my eyes begin to well up again.
"You killed your mom?" I softly croak.
"It wasn't like that. I stopped her suffering! She begged me to and I couldn't stand how much pain she was day in, day out...I regret it everyday."
"So you lied to me?"
"I said that to protect you...I thought if I told you the truth then you wouldn't want to stay with me, knowing about my past."
"You need to understand that nothing you confess can make me love you any less."
"I couldn't take the risk," he croaks with his painful eyes glued to mine.
"So you gave her pills and then...?" Jacob sarcastically prompts Kyle to carry on, breaking the loving feeling between the two of us.
"Just leave him alone-"
"No! I will not leave him alone! He's going to pay, Sasha! Do you hear me?!"
"Don't be talking to her like that," Kyle snarls at Jacob then attempts to escape the hold that the two boys have over him, but Jacob rapidly throws another punch to him, but this time to his gorgeous face.
"Continue with your story, please..." Why is he doing this? What does he want to benefit from this? "So you gave her the pills and then?" He crosses his arms over his chest then glares at Kyle, waiting for him to recover.
"I didn't do anything," Kyle mumbles.
"Exactly! You did nothing! You killed her then you left her as soon as the last bit of breath had escaped. And you call yourself a man!" Jacob throws a punch combo at Kyle. A hard power blow to the stomach then an uppercut.
"I did what was best for her. I had no choice, Jake-"
"No. I don't wanna hear it! You made me suffer for long enough and now its my turn. You took away the only woman I loved in the whole world and now I'm going to do the same for you...watch this space." I didn't like the sound of that.
Jacob reaches into both pockets of his hoodie then pulls out a shiny silver blade in one hand then a gun in the other. My eyes bulge out at the deadly weapons my heart feel like its about to burst out of my chest. "No! Don't hurt him!" I scream.
He turns to me then plasters a wicked smile on his face. "Choose your method of death, Sasha," he hisses. "A slash through the throat or a quick shot to the brain?" He moves closer to me and that's when I start to fight back. The boys keep their grips around as I tear, rip and shriek.
"Don't you dare lay a finger on her!" Kyle yells, before tearing away from the hold and lunging at Jacob unexpected. He tackles him to the ground and knocks the gun out of his hand.
The two boys let go of me and jump in the fight as well. Its chaotic, but the fact that's its five against one and there's a weapon involved scares the shit out of me. My fingers begin to tremble as I scream and shriek for help but no one seems to be around in this cold deserted area. Tears stream down my face and my bump goes berserk with kicks and pain from all angles. "Shit! Let's go! Now!" Jacobs shouts as he pulls himself off Kyle and all the boys quickly run away behind him.
Kyle gets up from the ground then turns back to face me. I smile forms on my face to know that he's okay. "Baby," I breathe, as I hold out my hands for him.
He holds onto his side then stumbles to his knees. I quickly rush towards him and notice the blood pouring out of a stab wound. "Shit!" I scream. I rest his head as the tears stream down my face my I start shaking uncontrollably. I stare into his cold dead eyes then notice the color in his cheeks beginning to slowly fade away.
"No baby, stay with me," I cry as I take out his cell phone then quickly ring 911 for an ambulance. "The ambulance is coming baby, just hold on."
"I'm sorry for lying," he whispers.
"Shh, please don't say anything, baby. Just stay with me, okay?"
"Tell Tiffany...I love her-" he exhales, his eyes half shutting but then opening again. I press my hand over the wound to prevent any more blood loss.
"No please don't-you can tell her yourself...just wait for the ambulance...its coming right now, please baby don't you dare leave me!" I cry, the tears reaching the corner of my lips and giving the salty taste. His eyes close and my heart panics. "No! No! Wake up! Open your eyes, wake up!" I gently slap both his cheeks and his eyes briefly open.
"I'm just tired babe, please let me sleep...I promise...I'll wake up," he breathes, his lips cracking to a small sweet smile. I look around the dark area, hoping the ambulance will pull up any minute. More and more threatening blood gushes out, making me scream for more help. I lean forward and briefly kiss his almost warm lips.
"I can't lose you. I've lost my mom, my sister and you're the only thing I have left, baby. Please fight it. Fight the urge to close your eyes...I need you."
"Tell Kathleen...I'm not angry at her-" I shake my head as my throat bleeds with fresh open scars. "Tell...my dad that I'm not angry at him-"
"Baby you can tell them yourselves! Just keep your eyes open!" I bang my fist again the cold concrete then stare back into his heavy eyes.
"Tell Lara that I...I never meant to hurt her..."
"Stop it please," I plead, shaking my head from side to side.
"And tell Jacob that...tell Jacob that I forgive him and maybe he can forgive me..."
"Just hold on, Kyle. We're having a baby and we're getting married. Just keep your eyes open and I promise you everything will be okay." I run my fingers through his messy hair as his breaths become short and his eyes find it impossibly hard to stay open.
"Sasha..." Kyle starts.
I look down into his eyes which has lost its spark. "Yes, baby."
"I...I feel so...feel so cold."
I grasp onto his hand then quickly pull away when I'm startled by the freezing cold temperature he's giving off. His lips separate and his eyelids shut. And at that point, my heart bleeds for him to open his eyelids and gaze at me with those warm glowing eyes that secures love and affection.
