"But...but...that's not possible. It can't be! I've been having my period!" I loudly protest.

"Yes. But have your period maintained its regular duration or has it been persistently irregular? This includes missing of skipping months too."

My head spins in vigorous spirals as I stare into her cold eyes. "Well its been lighter than usual and I did skip last month and I thought it was just a normal fluke. Then I had my period this month but for only three days which I found pretty abnormal for me but I just ignored it because I was used to irregular periods." She adjusts her glasses then quickly scribbles on her clipboard, nodding at every shaky word that escapes my dry achy mouth.

"It is common for a lot of women to still experience their monthly periods and conceive at the same time but after at least the fourth month of the pregnancy, the periods should stop and maybe only little trickles of blood every now and then, but that's absolutely nothing to worry about." I rub my hand across my burning forehead and close my eyes at the furious pain.

"Will it be possible for me to have an abortion now?" I test the question at the tip of my tongue. Why did I just ask that? Is it because Kyle wants me to get rid of her? Of course not. This is not about him. Its about me. And right now, a baby is the last thing I need.

"Yes it is possible because you're only approximately fifteen weeks pregnant. Cytotic pills are available to you but I would recommend you not to rush into any decisions at this moment just because your boyfriend doesn't approve of it."

Oh! But you really do not know the kind of person my "so called" boyfriend is. "Thank you," I quietly choke as I flip the sheets over my body and only just realize that I'm wearing a hospital gown. "You're welcome my dear. Now get some rest." She stretches her lips into. Small gracious smile then swivels on her heels to walk away, with the clipboard still tight in hand.

"Wait!" I quickly call after her, making her shoot her head around so her blond hair moves in sync. I can't stay in this hospital bed any longer. "Can I get discharged now, please? Like...right this minute?"

She scrunches her face in disapproval. "No. You've only just got your blood levels back on track. You need rest more than you need your walk," she softly murmurs, her voice soft and considerate.

"Please," I plead as I pout my bottom lip then bulge out my big brown eyes, making them expand and attempt the "puppy eyes" look. She sighs in defeat before she carefully takes out a piece of card from her outside pocket then scribbles something on it. Preferably her signature.

"Here. Take this to reception and they will discharge you," she softly murmurs as she hands out the card towards me and I carefully snip it from her long fingernails.

"Thank you." She bows her head before she turns and exits the room. I search the room for my close until my eyes finally land on my bag that I carried to school this morning. I can hardly remember what happened.

I slide one foot around, then quickly follow with the other one. The hospital dress hangs low around my shoulders and drapes around my very soar breasts. My brain pounds against my skull as if its fighting for survival. The throbbing doesn't stop. The pulsating beats thump the sides of my head then burns up my body under the fabric. I place one hand on my blazing forehead and the other on my slightly round stomach.

I stretch my fingers across my plumped belly and slide them around every curve, trying desperately hard to hear her kick or even swim around. The tiny tears start to drip down my cheeks and gracefully land on the crystal white hospital gown.

"Your daddy wants me to get rid of you," I quietly sniff as I tuck my chin against my chest then peer down at my tiny bump. Am I honestly talking to myself. Now what's the point in that. Its not like she can hear me. "I'm sorry but I can't look after you. Not by myself anyway." I wipe the remaining tears away from my cheeks before I carefully leap off the bed and take out the fresh pair of clothes that are neatly folded inside my bag.

How did that even get there? I ignore my conscience and quickly throw on the new pair of navy jeans and the green and black checkered shirt. The buttons strain against my no longer slim figure and the smooth fabric stretches across my large curves. I try to suck my tummy in but no difference is made. I need to face the fact that I haven't just gotten big, I actually have a tiny baby inside me that waiting to see the world in approximately six more months. How did it even happen-well that's a dumb question Sasha...maybe you erm...I dunno...had sex?!-Of course. There's no other explanation to it.

I smooth out the bed sheets then neatly place the folded hospital gown on top, not knowing where to put it before I exit the room then quickly discharge myself from reception. The overwhelming breeze from the outside world brushes past my cold body, catching me off guard as I weave out the glass revolving doors. I check the time on my phone and its almost 3:00. I don't want to stay with Kyle anymore until he fixes up his childish behavior. He doesn't want the baby then he's not having me either.

I spot my red Ferrari tidily parked on its own in the distance and no Kyle in sight. I pull out my car keys and unlock it before I've even reached it, just to see the way the headlights flicker in sync with the beeping noise it makes. I'm going to pick up Tasha from school then we're going to go live at my grandmother's house. Just as I slowly start to approach my red beauty, a tight grip captures me by my wrist, making me pirouette on my toes and face the person.

His flat wolf eyes doesn't intimidate me anymore, and his face is more desperate rather than furious."Sasha please, here me out," he pleads.

Don't soften out now. "I don't want to listen!" And with that, I tear my wrist away from his grasp and continue to stomp towards my car, swiftly opening the door in a brisk movement.

"About the baby. We can't just ignore it."

"Excuse me? We can't ignore it? Where's the 'we' in this. You were the one who embarrassed in front of the doctor, telling me to get rid of our baby! So don't you dare try turn this around and pin it on me too!"

"Wait Me embarrass you? You're the one who slept with my brother behind my back while I was out of town and you stand here, having the audacity to say that I embarrass you!" He snarls as he traps me by the side of my car.

"So this is what its all about. You actually believe your brother? Nothing happened between me and your fucking brother!"

"Oh so he's just lying for the sake of it? Tell me the truth Sash!" My heartbeat picks up a speed of its own at his furious glare and power over me, but no way am I going to show any signs of defeat. Honesty is the best policy...so I've been told.

"Okay so we kissed but I regret it now!" I quickly blurt out. He runs his hands through his face then turns his face away from me, as if I'm a repulsive image to look out. "Well don't be acting like Lexi hasn't got some kind of demonic power over you. She says jump and you ask how high!"

"What are you talking about you crazy bitch!"

"She was all over you the first time you bought her to your house! She was crying on your shoulder and sucking up to you and you just let her! Because that's what you are Kyle! Just a sucker upper!" He slams his fist against the roof off my Ferrari, oblivious to the fact that he might of left a dent in it.

"She was going through a rough time, Sash! The black eye she had? Yeah! Wonder how she got it?" I stare at him blankly and read his blazing impassive face. "Her boyfriend has been hitting the crap out of her and she was scared to tell anybody about it. And guess what? Being the good friend that I am, I was there to support her! Did you ever think that she might actually have a heart? No! Cos you're too busy snogging my brother's face off and now you've gotten yourself knocked up!"

My heart sinks and my throat dries up. The image of Lexi getting hit makes my heart thump! No wait! She was lying! Yes! I remember her little stand up act she done! Why the hell is my boyfriend so stupid? Well he's about to become my ex boyfriend in a minute if he doesn't start listening to me.

"She played you like a bitch, Kyle," I snarl as I shove his hard chest away from mine, making him stumble back a bit.

"Oh did she really? So I suppose that black eye? She did that to herself, did she?"

"Yes! Because she's a crazy ass bitch! Now I'm done talking to you. I don't want to look at you let alone even speak to you. You're a fucking hypocrite and I wished I never met you!" I'm lying! I'm lying big time! I quickly swing open the Ferrari car and slide in, slamming the door behind me.

"Well where you going?" Kyle questions me.

"As far away from you as possible!" I yell, the tears finding release and an entrance down my soft perky cheeks. He stares at me with his soulful eyes but keeps his mouth in a hard thin line. "I'll pick up my things around six. Don't wait up. I have the key." I quickly start the engine and just as I softly step on the peddle, Kyle rushes in front of the car and bangs his fists against the hood of the car, making me startle a little.

"Move out the way!" I cry as I brush the tears away from my face with the back of my hand.

"You don't run away from me this easy, Sash!" He screams.

"I'm not running away...You're just not as fast as you think you are." I step on the peddle, not caring that he's in the way, just as the tears run smoothly down my face again.

"Sash, we need to talk about the baby!" Phaa! Well that's not something you'll hear everyday. I shake my head in disbelief then stare at him as if he's gone completely mad.

I steer the wheel so the car only moves an inch closer towards Kyle, but he doesn't flinch nor budge the slightest. I do it again, this time moving much more closer at a little faster speed but he doesn't budge again. "Don't you dare!" He snarls.

I scoff at his failed attempt to intimidate me move the car close again. He slams his fists against the hood as the furious fire burns berserk in his fiery eyes. "Just listen!" He yells. I shake my head and continue with the driving. He flies out the way as I zoom past him and watch his impassive expression from the small car mirror on the outside.

It feels so wrong that it must be right. Leaving the pain. Leaving the memories. Leaving him. I put my foot down and shoot away from the hospital onto the main road. What have I done? No I'm doing the right thing...he doesn't want me or the baby. And come to think of it, I don't think I want the baby either. I cautiously steer the wheel from side to side as I swerve the car through the road. I quickly give a two-time glance up at the mirror only to spot a very familiar silver Audi driving behind me, hidden behind other several cars.I step on the wheel and shake my head as I try desperately hard to clear my corrupted thoughts. I take a right turn and so does the Audi. Every now and then, I glance up at the mirror to check the distance between me and the Audi.

"Now who the fuck is this following me?" I mutter to myself I step on the wheel and so does the pace of the Audi behind me. "Doesn't this boy ever know when to give up?" I zoom the car through the thin cold air, trying hard to leave a huge gap between me and Kyle. Why the heck is he stalking me? My fingers tremble around the steering wheel as I rhythmically pressure my foot against the pedal in an attempt to increase speed. I weave past the cars and swerve around corners. I flick my head up to check out the lights and notice that the green light turns amber. No! I can make this light! I can't hit the red light! I zoom past just as the light slowly moves down to a red, I make it across to the other side.

"Bitch," I hiss. I drive out of the Audi's sight and park outside Tasha's school. And just when I thought I had got a lucky escape the silver Audi quickly approaches behind me. "For fuck's sake!" I yell as I slam my fists against the steering wheel then hurry out the car. I hurry out the car and pretend to act oblivious to the fact that my boyfriend-oh wait! My "ex" boyfriend is stalking me.

"Sasha wait! There's so much we need to talk about!"

"Well I don't wanna talk to you!" I storm up to the entrance and swing the door open. I feel his fragrance breeze quickly flies behind me. The reception is warm and colorful and so is the bubbly red head receptionist behind the desk.

"Yes you do! We need to speak about the baby, the fight, me and you! I mean come on Sasha! There's someone out to kill you and you're just going to walk out on me!" He sharply hisses behind me before he grasps onto my wrist and twirls me around so I can face him. I tear my wrist away from his grip and stare at him in disgust with my eyebrows closely kitted together.

"You walked out on me the moment you told me to get rid of this," I snarl back as I point at my stomach then watch as his eyes fill with sorrow then cautiously follow my gesture to my stomach. "Thanks for your wise words. I'll definitely take it into consideration." I pull a fake smile then slowly exhale before running my fingers through my hair.

"Listen...baby girl-"

"I'm not your fucking baby!"

"Is everything okay?" The receptionist interrupts us with a small smile on her precious face. I quickly snap my head around to face her desk then rapidly stretch my lips up to a false elongated grin. "Yes everything is perfectly fine!" I cheerfully reply. I feel Kyle hover behind me, pressuring his body against mine, in an attempt to soften me up but I'm not having it. I nudge his back with my elbow but that doesn't stop him from doing it again.

"So what can I help you with?" She questions me.

"Erm...I'm here to pick up my sister Tasha Pierce-I mean Michaels. Tasha Michaels." She types something onto her computer, her long pink finger nails moving rapidly on top of the crystal white keyboard. She screws her eyebrows at the screen before continuing to type some more.

"What's the reason why you're taking her?" I bite the inside of my lip in an attempt to think of a good scenario.

"Yeah. Why are you taking her?" Kyle briskly exhales behind me before resting his hand on the side of my hip.

"Look. She has an appointment today any time soon and I called up this morning just give the school the message but no one picked up the phone...so...can I take my sister or not?"

I tap my fingers repeatedly on her desk just to irritate the shit out of her. Her dark gray eyes follow my fingers bashing against the wood surface then back up to meet mine. I raise my brows at her before she turns back to the computer screen and types some more.

"Sasha? What are you up to?" Kyle whispers behind me, keeping his voice low and husky so the receptionist doesn't hear anything, but that doesn't stop her from glancing at us every once in a while.

"Don't act like you care." I turn my head to the side that I can hear him clearer.

"Please give me a chance to explain-"

"You better leave me the fuck alone before I slap the shit out of you." I flick my eyes up towards the receptionist who is gaping at the both of us, and when I lock eyes with her, she pursues to look away in all innocence. "Are you going to send my sister down or are you just going to sit there and gawk?" She quickly blinks her eyes at me before she parts her luscious red lips at me.

"I'm sorry but it says here that Tasha Michaels was picked up already at around half past two."

"Picked up? What do you mean picked up? Picked up by who?" My fingers begin to tremble and I feel my heart about to burst through my shirt.

"Her dad came to pick her up. Said she had a doctor's appointment." Dad? Dad! No it can't be! My throat dries up at the thought of everything. He's back! And he's took Tasha!

"You stupid fat cow!" I shriek at the receptionist before I barge past Kyle, storm out the school then make my way to the car. My knees knock against each other and become weaker as the pressure intensifies.

"Sasha wait up! What's going on?" Kyle yells behind me.

I ignore him and continue to fiddle around with my keys. "Just go home, Kyle. You're nothing to me."

"Stop right there!" He turns me around by my shoulders then slams me hard against the car. He crouches down so I don't need to strain my neck anymore in order to glare at his deadly penetrators. "Give me the keys and we'll find Tasha." With no hesitation I slam the keys into his hand then quickly make my way into the passenger seat, just as Kyle starts up my car.

"What about your Audi?"

"I'll get someone to pick it up for me." He rapidly drives away from the school, doing a U-turn onto the main road. The silence creeps up on us and if I listened very closely, I could her the faint sound of my own heartbeat overpowering the engine sound.

"Where could they be?"

"I don't know," I croak as I bite aggressively on the tip of my fingernails.

"Think, Sasha! Think!" He commands as he puts his foot down as the wind blows my face back by storm. The breeze whispers down my ear, making my spine tingle with anticipation.

"I don't know! I don't know! Try back at the house" I run my fingers through my hair before I take out my phone and call Keira.

"Who you calling?" Kyle questions me.

"My sister." She picks up after the second ring. I explain to her that Mike's out of prison and that he's taken Tasha.

"Well where could they be?" She questions me.

"I don't know Keira! I'm so scared to think about anything at the moment." My throat becomes hoarse as the overloading tears spill out of my eyes. The pressure's really getting to me. He's here...

"Sasha! Fucking think! Is there a particular place he took her as a baby or something?"

"Erm...I d-d-don't know...maybe erm...that place...a beach maybe...Layton Beach!" I loudly exclaim down the phone as all the childhood memories drown on me. Kyle glances down at me and I glance back up through my lashes.

"I'm going there now! Make sure you call the police and don't go down on your own!"

"I won't! Bye!"

I quickly hang up the phone then deeply exhale. "Layton beach," I quietly murmur to myself. Kyle takes out his iPhone then skillfully places it on a holder in front of him without even looking. He slides and presses, but still keeping his eyes on the road and his focus maintained. The phone's on loudspeaker and I can hear it ringing from the other end. I wonder who he's calling. Someone picks up after the third ring.

"Hello?"

"Parker. I need you to get someone down to Kingston school to pick up my Audi which is still in the parking spot then send the police crew down to Layton beach immediately." He sounds so sexy when he's demanding and full-on business mode.

"Right away." Parker answers back before the line goes dead.
