《Kissing You》Kissing You; Chapter 14; Physical Love Letters

I fell asleep fast last night. Mom and Tasha were on the sofa snuggled up last night while I quietly sneaked up to my room. It sort of reminded me of the times I was a rowdy wild fifteen year old who had no responsibilities and always came home late ha! But everything has changed now.

Thank God today is Saturday, I don't have to see Kyle's perfect face today or Jacob's. A whole day without the Carlson brothers, just peace and quiet is exactly what I need. My crazy hormones fluttering when either of them approach me is just getting out of control, even thought I can't physically stop them with my own ability.

My mind keeps going off track. About the party - in fact, I sure do need to tell my mom about the necklace and the attack but I definitely don't want the police sticking their nose in. Once an investigation starts, trust me, it never ends. Seriously...trust me when I say "it never ends".

The sun is shining and it's a Saturday. I mean, what more could you ask for? I'm in the best mood ever and I'm not gonna let anyone put me down today.

I excitedly jump out of my bed and run down the stairs in my panda printed vest top and matching shorts. I peer down at my feet as cold wooden floor reacts with my smooth feet, making the chills run down my spine. I really need to get a pedicure, I haven't had one in a while. I'll call Lara and ask her if she wants to trip down to the nail salon with sometime during the day. Just me and her. No boys whatsoever!

Oh God! I just remembered! Lara! She'll probably be worried sick, I left her in the nurse's room yesterday, never stayed in school and didn't even ring to tell her I was okay. I'm such a bitch of a friend! This is what Kyle has done to me - No this is what you've done to yourself. Fool! Take responsibility, always blaming others. These petty fights I keep having with myself, really does make me think twice about my "normal" existence on this planet.

My nose leads me to the kitchen where I find my mom behind the stove wearing an apron, with a bowel in her hand and a whisk in another. My lips stretch out to form a big cheesy grin then I quietly tip toe behind her. "Boo!" I scream, making her jump suddenly. She slowly turns around gives me a big warm smile.

"Sasha you scared the shit out of me!" She laughs then continues whisking rapidly.

"Hmm mamá, algo huele delicioso," I softly giggle behind her ear.

I spot the stacked pancakes by the side of the table and I reach out to take the plate. She rapidly swats my hand in mid air which makes me pull it back in again. "Go and have a shower first! Estúpido!" she spits out as she slowly barges me away from her then throws her head back in laughter.

The old me would probably get all angry for her just calling me stupid in Spanish, but now it feels like ever since Kyle told me straight that he didn't like me in the way that I hoped he would, I now see everything in a new light. "Te amo mamá," I softly reply, turning on my heel to head upstairs.

I speed past the front door then my eyes quickly catch sight of a small white piece of paper, that laid flat on the floor only a few centimetres away from the door post. My eyebrows automatically knit themselves together then I walk over to the letter and carefully pick it up. At the front it reads:

"To the parents/carers of Ms Sasha Pierce"

Uh oh! This can't be good! Maybe they found out about the fight I had with Kya and that I missed the rest of the school day. I better hide it before my mom gets a hold of it. "What's that Sasha?" a voice curiously questions behind me. Shoot! Speak of the devil, she's right behind me. I freeze then deeply exhale. I slowly turn around and while I do that, I awkwardly lead the envelope behind my back then face my mom with a big fake grin on my face. Her eyebrow instantly raises when she sees the grin on my face. She's not buying it."Okay, what have you done?" she demands, crossing her arms in front of her chest and pouting out her plumped lips.

"Nothing!" I quickly lie through my teeth, still with that big grin across my face.

And with that, I run up the stairs, disappear into the bathroom and lock it tightly behind me. I sit on the toilet lid, slide my sharp nail underneath the envelope fold and tear it apart. I quickly pull out the clear white piece of paper that's neatly folded inside and quietly read to myself:

To the parents/carer or Ms Sasha Pierce,

Jesse Gorjero High School of Literature, Business and Performing Arts is writing to inform you that you still have $100,000 needing to be paid for this year and last semester. We already gave you six months last year to pay half of the tuition and then we accepted that the other half would be paid this semester before the students break up for summer vacation. But you have failed to do so therefore we will have no other choice but to remove Sasha from the school within the next month, where you can still have the chance to pay off the $100,000 still owed to the school.

Other options are:

-Sasha starts working part time with a given job of our choice where she will be paid enough money to cover at least 45% of the money owed in the period of a month.

-We offer scholarships to students here at Jesse Gorjero based on their academic achievement through a particular subject. In order for Sasha to gain a scholarship, she will need to prove herself worthy in a specific subject or area that she is exceptional at then nominated for the scholarship by her teacher.

If the $100,00 is not paid by the end of this semester then Sasha will have to leave Jesse Gorjero High School permanently. I'm sorry for the news but it is very important.

If you have any questions, then feel free to call us on the school office phone or send us an e-mail through our e-mail address which is printed below.

I stop reading there and let go of the paper, it sways to the floor and my mouth gawps open. Leave my school? Leave Lara? Leave...Kyle..? I can't! I just can't! Not now at least. Why can't my dad still be here, he'll no what to do, he'll pay for my tuition and everything will be alright in no time. Now that he's dead and mom hardly ever has money nowadays, I might as well drop out of the school myself.

I zone out for a few minutes and keep my legs close to one another, staring deep into space of my future consequences. No school means no education. No education means no knowledge. No knowledge means no job. No job means no money. No money means poverty and poverty just leads directly to death! Oh no...we can't let that happen.

Suddenly an urgent knock of the bathroom door makes my heart jump and my eyes shoot at it. "Sasha! Are you okay in there? I don't hear no water running!" she laughs from the other side.

"Yeah I'm fine mom! You worry too much!" I reply, trying to sound as enthusiastic and cheerful as possible.

"Alright well, fifteen more minutes and no more because I'm taking you girls shopping!"

Shopping! Shopping?

Mom never takes me and Tasha shopping anymore. I don't know what's gotten into her today, maybe she's just going through a phase, we'll soon see her true colors. "Shopping that sounds ace!" I squeal out with enthusiasm in my voice but no glee in my face whatsoever.

"Well hurry up then!" she finally cries before I hear her loud footsteps scurry down the squeaky stairs. I try to feel excited about this shopping trip to the mall but my body just won't let me. I can't bare the fact that I'm going to leave Lara and Kyle.

Yes! I admit it, I can't get him out of head, I love it when he's a jerk to me, I love the bad side of him. He makes me feel so different and a totally new person that I never knew existed inside of me. He brings out the naughty side of me and I absolutely love it. No point lying, it'll get you no where in life. I can't be wasting my time thinking about a boy I will never get to call my boyfriend or even my husband. That instantly flashes my memory back to that dream I had after Kyle's party. I shake off the thought trying not to remember the events that took place in that dream, or more like a freaking nightmare.

The less I hear about the gorgeous Kyle Carlson the better...

(KYLE'S POV)

I couldn't sleep. Not even a bit. Last night at around midnight, I left my parent's house and drove back to my own house thinking that would make things better for me but no change. I want her so bad, but no fricking way am I making the first move. And once everyone hears that Kyle Carlson has feelings for a girl, my reputation's trashed. Being the player jerk that I am, makes all the girls love me and keeps my reputation going everyday and I'm not about to change for anyone - But maybe just for her - No! Never for anyone! Kyle Carlson will never change. Why can't she just coming running back to me like all the others do? Why can't she just follow me around like a lost puppy? Just when I'm about to get up from my bed my Blackberry starts ringing, causing the whole of my mattress to vibrate beneath me. I grasp it into my hand and glance at the name flashing on my screen before reluctantly accepting the call.

"What's up?" I yawn.

"Your dad told me that you was big mad last night with Jake."

"So?"

"It was because of that Sasha girl right?" he sighs.

"No...why would you say that?" I quickly reply, not even making sure of my own words.

"No reason - anyways I'm coming round in a minute you need some cheering up."

"Alright then," I helplessly agree as I roughly rub my eyes with the back of my hand then freeze when I mirror his last sentence in my head. Did I just hear him correctly? "Wait! who says I need cheering up?"

He cuts the phone off and I'm left in an awkward silence. Cheering up? Who says I need cheering up? I'm perfectly fine, it's not as if I'm thinking of Sasha 24/7 is it?

Before my conscience can continuously drown me in her melodic name, I leap into the shower, make something to eat, take some aspirins, then relax on my sofa downstairs waiting for my doorbell to ring. I rest my head in my hands and think about...stuff, my mind not permitted to think about anything else but her.

Come on Kyle, you're not really thinking about her are you? She's turned you into a..a..right emotional freak. I've never felt like this for all them other bitches I've supposedly "dated" (used). Sasha makes my heart skip several beats every time I'm with her, even when I'm not...its a crazy feeling I cannot tame.

I'm startled by the loud doorbell that makes me snap from that peculiar frenzy. I slowly walk towards the door and before I could even fully open it, I'm bombarded by banter mob I call my 'mates'. "Wow! Just break in why don't you?"

"Oh lighten up Kyle!" Jamie laughs throwing himself on the sofa like he owns my place.

"He's thinking about his girlfriend!" Matt chuckles, strolling over to me then getting me into a rough headlock.

He starts ruffling my hair and makes it go all messy. I don't like anyone touching my hair apart from Sasha...Ah never mind. "Dude, she's not my girlfriend, you guys know me! I don't do that relationship shit!" I shriek in frustration. For some reason I'm unsure about what I had just said myself.

"Oh yeah, prove it!"

"How exactly am I supposed to do that?" He opens his mouth to say something, but quickly shuts it again and knots his eyebrows together in confusion. I actually worry about my so-called mates sometimes."You didn't really think that statement through did you Dan?" I ask. He rapidly shakes his head then lowers it down in embarrassment. "Fool!" I hiss.

They all jump on the sofa and switch on my plasma TV and the sound system. I turn my head around and I spot a girl standing by the door in a tight vest and high waisted shorts. Her hair is a dark chestnut brown, her eyes are a striking brown and her lips are slightly parted. She's beautiful! Am I seeing dead people or something? "Guys, who's that girl by the door?" I ask backing away slightly when she locks eyes with mine and stretches her plump lips into a smile.

"Oh that's Melisa, she's here to erm...cheer you up," Jamie calmly explains.

I turn back to her and give her a warm greeting smile, she smiles back with no hesitation and struts over to me with her hands on her hips. "Erm Melisa? Have we met before?"

"No but you can get to know me Kyle," she huskily replies. Oh shit her voice is sexy.

"I don't know anything about you Melisa," I stumble as she starts to get closer to me.

"Actions always speak louder than words," she whispers in my ear then tugs on my belt. That's when I quickly push her away and she bites her lip frantically.

"Kyle what's gotten into you? A week ago you would be bursting to get laid whenever you could!" Jamie shouts. I snap my head at him and raise my eyebrows. He has a point but I guess things change.

"Things change," I quietly mumble to myself then I zone off completely.

"Is this what's she's done to you mate!" Jamie cries.

"What do you mean?"

"Ever since you've been around that girl, you've changed, Kyle. If I didn't know any better I would think you've gone soft."

Nothing's changed about me, I'll show them the real Kyle Carlson. "Sasha means nothing to me! She's just some bitch!" I cry, resting my hands on my hips then running my hand though my hair.

"Yeah, if that's so, then how comes you haven't even got laid off her yet? You've lost your touch, bro."

"Me? Lost my touch! I'm the sex God! Bitches be begging to ride me, Jamie. But I wouldn't expect you to understand."

He stops drinking from the can and peers at me. "Kyle. Bro. Just give up, you're not gonna get her. You're boring the shit out of her, she's not interested! She doesn't care about you! Just move on!" Jamie yells coming closer to me so I could get a whiff of his beer breath, which didn't smell at all pleasant.

"No! You don't know shit!"

"It's because you love her blah, blah, blah! And I thought you was the famous Kyle Carlson that didn't give two shits about girls." I don't! I don't know what's given him this idea, I have no feelings for Sash whatsoever.

"Love doesn't exist in my world," I mutter. "Sasha's just another one of them girls, and I'm starting to get bored of her anyway."

"From Kyle the bad ass to Kyle the lover boy. Nice one dude!" Jamie chuckles. I narrow my eyes at him not knowing what to say back. They're all laughing at me, taking me for a mug, an idiot even. I grab onto Melisa's wrist tightly then drag her up the stairs. We reach the top of the stairs then hear, "That's my boy, Kyle!" So this is what they all want yeah?

We walk into my bedroom, I turn back to her and she has a big plastered grin on her face. The amount of girls that's stepped into this room is unbelievable. I try to bring out my enthusiasm by putting on a fake seductive smirk on my face, hoping that she would buy it. She throws me onto the bed before I could even react and starts kissing my neck wildly. "Kyle Carlson, I'm going to rock your world," she huskily breathes into my ear while she keeps her hands firmly on both my thighs and her head buried in my neck.

Play along Kyle..."I'm all yours baby," I slowly reply trying hard to respond to everything she does to me.

I'm just not feeling it at the moment, my mind is somewhere else. Somewhere it shouldn't. Oh fix up Kyle! This is a free lay you're getting here, you can't say no this. And she's hot which is a bonus. Hot girls perform the best when it comes to sex, it's been proved by me! I could be my own scientist you know. I wonder how good Sasha will be...maybe she's still a virgin? No her legs aren't that far apart. She's gorgeous, she was probably already taken. If not then Mr Kyle has a new situation he needs to get under control.

New Mission: Pop Sasha's cherry, if it's not already popped!

A smile appears on my face just thinking about her name...

Wow Melisa just won't slow down! Don't get me wrong she's fucking great and she's turning me on like hell but I'm just not feeling it for some reason. I want to push her away but at the same time, I like how she does it. Her breathing intensifies and I try harder to respond. Her lips crash onto mine and she sucks the life out of me. This bitch is kissing me like there's no tomorrow. She quickly takes off my top without me even realising it until I feel the cool breeze brush against my hard chest. Which bitch left the window open? Oh wait, I'm the only person that lives here...Oh no, she's not gonna slow grind on me is she? My weak spot, that shit makes me go hard. She stops and sits upright on me and attempts to take her vest off too.

"I don't think you should-" I quietly exhale as I slowly let go of the grip I had around her curvy hips.

"You wanna do it for me?"

"Look you better go, Melisa."

"But we haven't even started, I thought this is what you wanted! You brought me up here!" she cries.

"Yeah I only did that so the guys could get off my case about some girl," I truthfully tell her.

"I knew this would be a waste of time," she mumbles to herself. Who does this bitch think she is?

"Why did you come here then?" I question her sounding more stern than I intended to.

"Because your friends said you needed cheering up and I could be the girl for you," she softly mutters staring down at her feet. I deeply inhale then exhale and run my hands through my messy hair. I stare into her disappointed brown eyes that no longer look alive and bright like before.

"I'm sorry, Melisa but I'm not the guy for you." I try to explain to her.

"Yes you are! You're perfect, amazing, gorgeous, hot!" She cries, pacing towards me and running her hand up and down my jaw. I don't stare at her in the eyes this time.

"Yeah I know I'm all that but I don't like you...in the way you like me," I softly whisper to her.

Bitch! I don't even know you! Her face drops to disappointment then quickly changes to rage and wrath. All of a sudden the room temperature increases immaculately. Oh wait, maybe that's just me ha ha! "So much for a fun lay!" she shrieks, pushing me hard then turning on the heel and storming out my enormous bedroom.

"Maybe some other time!" I shout, following her down the stairs.

She slams the front door behind her and the guys turn to look at me. No one speaks, they all just stare, like their eyes have frozen in time. I exhale loudly then run my fingers through my hair. I have a habit of doing that a lot. Only because I'm the most sexiest when I do it. But then again, am I not sexy all the time? Come on! I'm the Kyle Carlson. "She was one freaky bitch," I state, breathing a deep sigh of relief.

"At least she managed to get your top off," Jamie scoffs before breaking into laughter with everyone else. Ha ha very funny! I reach for the nearest object next to me (which unfortunately, happened to be a pillow! Why couldn't it of been a vase or something hard?) then throw it at his big rock head. "Ow! No need to throw your feelings at me!" He laughs even louder this time.
