I started posting this story back in 2011, and it's come a long way since then... from being voted winner of that year's Most Popular Teen Fiction in the Watty Awards, to being published across the world, to having a Netflix movie adaptation...

And now there's more!

Since I finished this book on Wattpad in 2011, I've had messages pretty much every day, begging for a sequel from readers who'd love to know what happens next. And this is where the good news comes in...

The sequel will be published on January 2nd 2020! As of now, it will be published by the UK and US (though I believe that edition is coming a couple of weeks later just due to distribution timescales), and will also soon be translated and published in: France, Germany, Brazil, Russia, Poland, Spain - and hopefully more translations will follow!

The sequel is called The Kissing Booth 2: Going the Distance, and here's what it's all about:

Elle Evans seems to have finally tamed hotter-than-hot bad boy Noah Flynn, but now they're facing a new challenge. Noah's 3,000 miles away at Harvard, which means they're officially a long-distance couple - and it's tough. After all, there's only so much texts and calls can satisfy - and when Elle sees a post which suggests Noah's getting friendly with another girl, she's devastated.

On top of that, it's hard to ignore the new boy at school. He's gentle, sweet, cute - and definitely interested in Elle.

With her heart on the line, what's a girl to do?

Writing this book was a labour of love, and I've been working on it on and off over the last seven years - so wrapping up the final edits earlier this summer was an emotional rollercoaster, to say the least! I'm so thrilled to finally be able to share it with you all, though.

AND, what's more, before you all ask in the comments... The release date for that hasn't been announced at the time of me uploading this, but it is happening, and it'll be based on my sequel.

A lot of you are aware of The Beach House, my spin-off companion novella to The Kissing Booth. Well, get ready for more, because I've written another spin-off novella in the series!

Specially for World Book Day UK, and being published on March 5th 2020, is The Kissing Booth: Road Trip, which follows Elle and Lee on an epic cross-country road trip over spring break to Boston.

That novella will only be available in the UK for a while, but I'm hoping that it will also come to other countries later in the year!
