Angel.." I heard feeling somebody poke me making me wake up. "Hm?" I spoke in a raspy tone.
"Yo mama blowing yo phone up" Nardo spoke .
I reached around for my phone before grabbing it answering it. "Hello" I spoke.
"ANGEL WHY IN THE FUCK YOU DIDN'T TELL ME YOU WASN'T COMING HOME!" She yelled into the phone.
I scrunched my face up before sitting up all the way.
"Well let's get into it... I told you I don't know if I was coming or staying at Myra's house that's one I didn't end up staying at myra's I stayed with a friend but you should've took out that ... you don't need to be calling me screaming like that when you know I'm good ma and I texted you!" I responded back
I wasn't disrespectful it's just the fact I was sleeping and she woke me up screaming about some shit I informed her about.
"Girl... please ever since you starting hanging with them people you've been crazy please don't play with me I'll talk to you when you get home".
"Crazy? How mama I've always spoke my mind to you with no problem and never gave you disrespect even though I'm grown I respect you because I'm still living in your house I respect your rules and everything but I don't like when you come at me crazy!" I responded back as Nardo walked out the room.
"Ms.falen told me she seen you with some nappy head ass boy" She spoke.
"Girl... bye" I spoke before sitting my phone down hearing her yell before I quickly hung up.
Rolling my eyes I laid back down feeling myself get comfortable again now irritated.
"You straight?" Nardo questioned handed me a black bowl making me take it seeing it was Waffle House. "I'm okay" I shrugged .

8 179Where Muses Go To Die
Crazy, messed-up, off-the-top-of-my-head writings, put here because submitting them one by one would take too long. So far there have been (7) fictions started, with no end in sight! If you like stories with a conclusion, you're going to hate this. However, if you like ongoing stories, you'll still hate it, because I'm an amateur writer with six months of experience of writing whenever I feel like it, and a habit of annoying the heck out of people. Because, when there's nothing left to say, there's always...TROLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLWARNING:Rating this mature for any/all future gore, violence, torture, that kinda stuff. Will update if I go beyond any of that. UPDATE: Starting cussing in #1, and probably others soon as well.:) UPDATE: #7 is all about suicide, so for all those who are offended by that stuff, you've been warned.
8 182The Chronicles of Tyfoon, The Chosen One
For hundreds of years the galaxy was kept in order due to the diligent work of The Council, the number one authority in the whole galaxy, and their appointed guardian of the galaxy, The Chosen One. The Chosen One was the face of order and justice in the galaxy and was the head over all the galactic military forces, answering only to The Council themselves. But after a rebel enemy force known as the Doomaki rise to power, they overtake The Chosen One and his military forces, known as The Peacekeepers. One final battle leaves The Peacekeepers outnumbered and The Chosen One is overtaken and presumed dead. Just when it seems the galaxy might fall to the evil reign of the Doomaki, they disappear without a trace. With the thread of the Doomaki gone, the crippled galaxy begins to try and rebuild and find a new Chosen One to lead them and prepare for whatever new threats may come. Tyfoon, the Chosen One's only child, was born during the battle that his father disappeared in, and the ensuing battle left him without a mother as well, dying soon after childbirth. 18 years from that night pass and Tyfoon is ready to follow in his father's footsteps and serve The Council, perhaps to be The Chosen One when he is ready. But this plan is cut short when the Doomaki resurface and threaten everything dear to Tyfoon. Tyfoon must rise up and finish the task his father failed: defeat the Doomaki once and for all.
8 237Beyond the Bridge
There are many worlds, many multiverses, and you can move between them via the Federation's Bridge network - magical gateways to other worlds. The world dubbed "C'thon" by its inhabitants - or Gamma-Theta-Nu-649, if you ask the Federation's bureaucracy - was deserted when the Federation found it. The "civilized" races had all died out centuries prior, and the wilderness had grown downright feral in their absence. Now, the lonely Federation outpost of Bridgetown is under constant threat from the hungry wildlife, malicious fey, territorial goblins, and wandering undead that surround it. The town's distance from the Federation's centers of power means that it gets precious few of the resources that it needs to stay safe and afloat. Enter the Guild of Adventurers, a plucky and disparate crew who do the Federation's dirty work in exchange for coin. One team, the first of many, crosses the Bridge to C'thon looking for fame, fortune, and (if they're lucky) the answer to a newly-discovered Prophecy. They'll get much more than they bargained for, although first they need to avoid being eaten by the local wildlife. Updates weekly on Wednesday. Chapters will be as long as they need to be for them to work, which means they can vary. If anything drops below 2500 words, I'll post an extra chapter if I have one ready. [PS: This is not a litRPG, but I do borrow heavily from TTRPGs for inspiration, and the general setting and storyline is from a TTRPG campaign I'm running.] [PPS: This is my first attempt at writing long-form fiction. I'm not trying to make a great piece of literature or have a multi-novel overarching plot, but hopefully it'll still be a fun story - let me know what you think in the comments.] [PPPS: Cover image is from a free-download wallpaper by Tyler Edlin; I do not own it, and will take it down immediately if requested.]
