《Arrogance , and you . | Min Yoongi [COMPLETE]》EPILOGUE

He stands at the window in his favourite red velvety pyjamas, hair dishevelled. Opening the heavy curtains, he lets sunlight stream into the room before quickly closing them again.
"That must have been the most sunlight I've gotten in 5 years." He mumbles before shuffling back to the bedroom again.
That would be him- Min Yoongi, my husband.
It's been a year since we got married and I hear the same old thing from him everyday. But I wouldn't trade it for anything in the world.
I stand in front of the stove in the kitchen, flipping pancakes. Halfway through I decide to leave to check on Yoongi. He's still in the same position, curled into a tight ball and doing his favourite thing to do on weekends- sleep.
He quit his job at the financial holdings company awhile back and is now writing music, something that he has a deep passion for. As I walk back to the kitchen and smell burnt pancake batter, I do not panic.
Because I burn my breakfast all the time.
I would probably be better of buttering bread for my breakfast, since Yoongi eats lunch for breakfast.
I sit at the table and brush a buttered knife across my bread, reminding myself to dispose of the burnt batter and wash the pan clean later onward. The charred smell does not leave the room and as my nose is filled with the smell, my mind is filled with memories.
I remember the smoke, I associate it with only one thing. I can't say person, because it is not fit to describe it that way. She was an animal who got what she deserved, cooked to perfection in a past ally's wrath- fire.
She never got out of that building alive, her body was found at the site of the burning building a year ago. And after all those months, it was reported to be an accident.

We were never found out.
It was strange how it always worked in such a way that whatever evil she did, came back to her in the end. She set fires to houses and never got caught, but she herself died in one. She never got caught as a culprit for the lives lost, we were not known as the ones who indirectly led to her timely demise.
I supposed fate had a strange way of working.
But that strange way, as long as it left me alone, I could peacefully carry on with my life.
A morning of deep thoughts over, I washed everything up and went back into the bedroom.
I live with Yoongi now. Mrs Jung and Mina has been let go by Yoongi who gave them a good job working for one of his other friends.
I have gone back to work for Seohyun and we go for lunch every day together, occasionally with Taehyung.
I guess, after all the things that happened a year ago, they didn't matter anymore.
Sometimes I think about the things that landed Yoongi and I in this wonderful situation that we are grateful for everyday.
And deep in my heart, I am thankful for that arrogant bet that had brought us to where we are today.

Right, I'd better go now before I get all sappy.

Trapeze (Wattpad Books Edition)
WATTPAD BOOKS EDITIONHow do you trust the ground when all you've known is flight? In this breathtaking debut, Leigh Ansell has created a compelling, heartbreaking, and truly engaging story about a young girl used to flying high only to be faced with living life with her two feet firmly on the ground . . . Seventeen-year-old Corey Ryder can't remember a time when she wasn't gliding through the air of Cirque Mystique's big top. As a trapeze artist in a traveling circus, Corey wakes up every day in a different place, buzzing for the moment she can suspend gravity during the night's performance. When the circus pulls into small-town Sherwood, California, everything seems normal - aside from meeting the exceptionally cute Luke Everett at a local diner. But that night, in the midst of the performance, tragedy strikes and flames overtake the tent. While Corey narrowly escapes, in the ashes of the circus pitch lies the only home she's ever known. Repeatedly thrown out of her comfort zone, Corey must learn how to push toward her future without forgetting her past, what it means to be a daughter to a mother she's never known, and how to navigate the confusing magic of first love, even as she performs the high-wire act of being true to who you really are.

My Mate Is Who?
"What now?" She asked. "I don't know. I guess tell our families." I replied. "No!" She said pushing me away. I growled. "Why not?""We're girls. Our families won't accept it." She pointed out.I growled again and Rachel put her hand on my arm. "Let's just not tell them.""Why, because we're girls? How long do you wanna hide this Rachel? Until our families think that Austin is your mate or that Colton's mine? Or they'll send us away to find our mate because they'll think we haven't found each other? How long Rachel? Tell me." I told her sternly. She looked down and I continued. "I have no shame in us being together but you do. You're ashamed of me because we don't fit society's vision as a couple. Well let me tell you something, fuck what society and our families say."Rachel and her family are new to the Blood Moon pack. When she gets there she instantly finds her mate. But it's not who she thinks it is.
