《Arrogance , and you . | Min Yoongi [COMPLETE]》Chapter 2

"Here for Yoongi."

A saccharine voice oozed through my ears. A friend of Mr Min's, named Taehyung, had just left the office a little while back and as far as the appointment slip suggested, there wasn't supposed to be anyone meeting Mr Min until at least half an hour later.

"Um...and who might you be?" I asked politely.

In front of me stood a gorgeous young woman, about my age, with flowing hair dyed blonde, wearing a black dress which hugged her perfect figure tightly and black heels to make her stand a little taller.

"Darling, how could you not know who I am? Oh, wait, you're a NEW PA, aren't you? Well then let me introduce myself, I'm Mr Min's girlfriend, and that means he's off limits to office lowlifes like YOU." She sneered, looking at me like as though I was the filth on the bottom of her heels.

"Well, your name, please?"

"It's Lee Chaeyoung."

I scanned the appointment slip for her name, but no matter how many times I flipped the paper, there just wasn't anyone named Lee Chaeyoung who had been scheduled to meet Mr Min.

"I'm sorry, but I can't let you in, I can't seem to find your name here..."

"I'm pretty sure you can. Because why wouldn't anyone NOT let me have a spot on their worthless appointment slips?" She flipped her hair and drummed her lacquered nails on the desk.

I was getting sick of her snobbish attitude towards me.

"I really can't-"

"Oh, I think I get it! You're so jealous that I'M Mr Min's girlfriend that YOU don't want to allow me to see HIM! Well get this in your head, little rat, He's mine and only mine so-"

"WHAT IS THE FUSS?" A loud voice roared from beyond Mr Min's wooden door.

Before long, Mr Min stepped out and looked the two of us up to down.

"I really can't find her name on the appointment slip and she accuses me of not wanting to let her in on purpose!" I fumed.

"Oh, so you act so NICE in front of me, and then NOW, when Yoongi comes out, you become a FIRECRACKER? I'm feeling so CHEATED by your split personalities!" She wiped away fake tears.

I rolled my eyes.

"Quit bickering, the two of you. Chaeyoung, she's doing her job right so don't go all nuts on her. Anyway, I didn't schedule you to meet me so by right you should just get out-"

"Ah, darling, don't be so cranky...I need to talk with you." She shoved Mr Min back into the office, gave me one last spiteful glare and slammed the door so hard, it might as well have been shattered and reduced to wooden splinters.

I shook my head and continued planning the events on Mr Min's calendar.

"Do you have to make such a scene everywhere you GO?" I raised my voice at Chaeyoung.

"She was being such a-"

"I heard EVERYTHING, and she was so polite, I really don't know how she managed to put up with your stupid comments!"

"So she's the angel now, huh? How come you make me out to be the evil one, when I'm your girlfriend?"

"You're so damn rude to her, I don't know why you can't just be nice to everyone you meet! Calling her an office lowlife, that's just plain disrespectful! Get going, I don't want to see you in here right now!" I growled.

"Fine! Well let me tell you, it was stupid to let your old PA go. He was SO much better than this new one will ever be. AND, he's so much HOTTER than her!"

"What?"

"Nothing!" she smiled back at me.

"Well you treat me like crap anyway, you can go and sleep on the streets with the 'hundreds and thousands' of guys that you claim are wooing you. I don't think I'm lucky to have you despite all of that, what are looks when your personality just destroys all your good points?"

"Don't cross my line, Min Yoongi."

"Get OVER yourself." I spat.

She sashayed out of the room, swinging her hips in an overdone manner.

I collapsed into my chair, exhausted.

I was so done with her drama.

Less than a few minutes later, another knock came on the door.

Again?

"Come in!"

Hye Rin entered in the same timid fashion that she had this morning. Pushing her silver hair behind her ears, she looked up at me and handed me a schedule for the next one week.

"Thank you. Anyway, how do you find Chaeyoung?"

"I think she's a gem." Hye Rin rolled her eyes.

"Aren't you afraid to offend me, speaking about my girlfriend like that?"

"No, because it's my honest opinion and you asked me for it." She gritted her teeth.

"Thank you for my schedule, you're dismissed. Remember to bring me a coffee and a sandwich for lunch."

She bowed and exited without a word.

I looked down at the schedule and sighed. The first major event on the schedule was the company dinner party tomorrow night. Everyone except the PAs and cleaning staff were invited. Too bad, I had been looking forward to taking Hye Rin to the party. I guess I would have to take that dumb blonde, Chaeyoung instead.

I sighed and sent a text to Chaeyoung, inviting her to be my plus one. She immediately replied with a yes and signed it off with half a dozen X's and O's. That girl had split personalities, I was sure. One moment she was busy being the rudest ruffian on the block, next she was sweet as cream pie.

Propping my feet on the table, I leaned back in my chair and tried to catch some rest. It wasn't even halfway through the day and so much was happening already.

"Hye Rin!" Taehyung came running up.

"How can I help? You aren't scheduled to meet Mr Min anymore today..." I flipped through the appointment list.

"It's not about that...it's just that I have something I want to ask you and I hope you'll say yes."

"What is it?"

"So there's this company dinner party coming up and I just wanted to know if you would like to be my plus one?"

"PAs aren't invited you know."

"Yeah but you can come as my plus one, not as a PA..."

"Now that you put it that way...I think I'll accept your offer. Thanks so much!" I smiled at Taehyung.

"Hey, no problem, I'll be going first." He beamed a precious box smile at me before walking back to the elevator.

So I was going to the party tomorrow night.

Now I'd have to find a formal dress. Mr Min's invitation did state the dress code had to be formal.

Hopefully he wouldn't be mad at me when I showed up.

Suddenly, the alarm on my phone rang. I had to go fetch lunch for Mr Min. He probably wouldn't be too happy if I was late.
