Y/N POV
We stayed over at Mike's house for dinner. I sat by Dustin and Lucas. We all were quite and just looked at our food, I was still in shock of what just happened with Eleven, she had power, like move stuff with your mind, powers. "Something wrong with the meatloaf?" Mrs.Wheeler called out. "Uh, no, my uh, stomachs upset, sorry." "Not be sorry, dear you don't have to eat if you don't feel like it." "Thanks." I nodded. Dustin looked over "Oh, no, I had two bologna sandwiches for lunch. I don't know why." He smiled. "Me too." Lucas smiled at me.
I was about to laugh since they both were lying. Lucas saw me holding back from laughing and smiled. "It's delicious, mommy." Nancy said. I could tell there was something up what high schooler still called there mom 'mommy'. "Thank you, sweetie." "So, there's this special assembly thing tonight... for Will at the school field." I could tell she was lying, she was using Will's disappearance as and excuse, this made me mad, but I hid it. "Barb's driving." Mrs. Wheeler looked suspiciously at her. "Why am I just now hearing about this?" Yep she was definitely lying.
"I thought you knew." She said sweetly. "I told you, I don't want you out after dark until Will is found." I looked over at Mike he looked pretty upset at Nancy to. "I know, I know but it'd be super weird if I'm not there. I mean everyone going." Ugh, this was really annoying. Mrs.Wheeler signed. "Just be back by 10:00... why don't you take the kids, too?" Oh no no no we had are own plans for tonight. We all simultaneously said no. "Don't you think you should be there? For Will?" All of s sudden Mike spit up his milk.

Then I knew why El was coming down, I started laughing to distract them. Dustin hit the table, and Mrs.Wheeler turned back around. "Sorry. Spasm." Dustin said. "Mike are you ok?" She questioned Mike. "Ya, I'm fine, I just, uh, didn't mean to swallow it yet." He laughed nervously. Then Holly started to wine, "It's ok Holly it was just a loud noise." She looked over at Dustin. "Nice." Nancy looked over at Dustin rudely. Nancy had left finally and we all went down stairs.
El was sitting in the fort message with the supercom. "El?" Mike asked. Mike had brought her a try of our leftover meatloaf. "No adults. Just us in some meatloaf." El looked up at us. "Don't worry. They won't tell anyone about you. They promise. Right?" I knelt down beside her, "I'm sorry if I miss interpreted you or hurt you in anyway, sorry." She nodded. "We never would've upset you if we knew you had superpowers." Dustin said. "Dustin!" "What?" "Don't be rude!" I yelled. "Sorry." He said softly. Mike hit his leg. "Ow." "What Dustin is trying to say is that they were just scared... earlier. That's all."
I got up and stood by them. "We just wanted to find our friend." Lucas said. "Friend?" She asked. "Yeah, friend. Will?" Lucas repeated himself. "What is 'Friend'?" She doesn't know what a friend is does she? "Is she serious?" "Lucas just be patient." I said. "Sorry. Um, a friend is someone-" Mike cut him off "Is someone that you'd do anything for." "You lend them your cool stuff, like comic books and trading cards." Dustin said. "You trust them, and you share secrets with them." I said. "And they never break a promise." Mike said. "Especially when there's spit." Lucas stated. "Spit?" She questioned. "A spit swear means..." He spat into his hand. "You never break a promise." He shook Dustin's hand. "It's a bond."

Dustin looked at his hand. "Yuck." "That's super important, because friends... they tell each other things. Things that parents don't know." She looks up to Mike. After that we circled up together talking how we'll find Will, then El came over. She went over to the table were the D&D board was and sat down"What's the weirdo doing." I was to transfixed on her to tell him not to say that. She closed her eyes and put her set her hands on the board. What was she doing? "El?" I could tell Mike was a bit scared too. The next thing she did freaked me out, she picked up Will's character. I don't know why but that was really unsettling. "Will." She said.
This was creepy. "Superpowers." Dustin spoke. Lucas rolled his eyes. "Did you see him? On Mirkwood? Do you know where he is?" Mike questioned. She pushed all the other characters off the board, then flipped the board over, she then grabbed Will's character and set it down. My heart stoped, this was freaky. "I don't understand?" Mike said, neither did I but I wanted to run and find Will as soon as possible, I could tell we was in danger, real danger. "Hiding." She said. I got chills. "Will is hiding?" She nodded. "From the bad men?" She shook her head. I grabbed both Dustin and Lucas's hand. "Then from who?" She set another character piece down, it was the demogorgon.

~A Wattys and Fiction Award winner*A lion does not need an invitation from a lamb. That is not the way of the predator. Predators take what they want, when they want it, however they please. And this belief that I am, that evil is, enslaved by the dark night is humorous to say the least. Why would any creator make their pupil inept of withstanding the lighted world when this planet is covered in daylight for half of its life span? No, our Maker did not instill such restrictions for, up here on these earthly lands, we are the gods of prey. ~ Tristan There is only one rule vampires must follow--Bite Hard. It is forbidden for humans to know vampires exist so you can imagine Tristan Darkos's surprise when he finds one that knows what he is. He can tell by the tremble of her body, the thump-thump of her pulse, and her dilated pupils. He's going to have to finish what some other vampire started. The problem is when Tristan gets close to this human his blood turns to fire and the thirst that burns in his throat that should spell her doom twists until he's consumed by another need--one that is evocative, primitive, and...wrong.If Tristan doesn't figure out the mystery that is Kinley Shea Rylan, it is certain whatever dark force her honey blood is summoning forth will be the end of him and, possibly, the end of the world as we know it. ~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~ Author note: - This is an original work with my take on Vampires.
