《Am I really though? (Sanderssides HumanAU)》Twenty: Virgil

A little while after Janus left, Logan explained why Patton wasn't there and then struggled to explain why Roman couldn't come with Janus. "What do you mean?" Virgil asked. Logan sighed.
"I'm sorry Virgil he wanted to...he really did but they won't let him." Logan looked down.
"That's bullshit!" Virgil cried. Logan sighed and went to stand but remembered, he couldn't and he fell to the floor. "OH MY GOSH!"
"It's okay, I'm fine." Logan went to get up but fell back down again. "Fuck."
"NURSE!" Virgil screamed. Someone came running in and helped Logan off the floor and over to his bed.
"You shouldn't be out of bed without anyone helping you!" The nurse cried.
"C-Can you take me over to his bed?" Logan asked as he wiped his face of tears. She helped him over and Logan sat down next to Virgil. The nurse walked out of the room. "Virgil, something happened while we were out." Logan sighed. "Roman was...arrested."
"On what charges! Did they think he had anything to do with this!?" Virgil cried. Logan nodded.
"They...they claimed that they had found evidence that.." Logan gulped and looked down for a second. "That he raped Janus."
"HE NEVER TOUCHED JANUS! DEE IS HIS SON WHY WOULD HE EVEN DO THAT!?" Virgil cried.
"Someone tampered with the evidence...they believed that he would hurt him. That's why they won't let him near you right now, until you are tested as well." Logan said sadly.
"No fucking way!" Virgil shook his head. "W-What if we find out what really happened when I was drunk? What if-."
"If Remus did, I'm here and you know that Virgil. I'm your father figure now and I will never judge you for anything, I love you no matter what but if we want to prove Roman had nothing to do with this, we have to let them take the test."

"Wait tests?" Virgil quickly looked at Logan. "Are they making you do one!?" Logan nodded sadly.
"They want Patton to do one as well..." Logan looked at the floor. "They won't believe us that we know Roman didn't touch us but they think he helped Remus with all of this so in order to prove he's innocent we have to..."
"But we know it was all Remus!" Virgil cried into Logan's shoulder. "I hate what they are doing to Roman..."
"Yeah, me too." Logan glared at his hospital bed. "I have to get the nurse back in here in order to get back in bed but it's..." Logan looked at the clock. "10pm they must be changing shifts...I don't want to keep you awake by sitting here until the nurse comes you need your rest-."
"I can't sleep..." Virgil shook his head. "We can just lay here." Virgil scooted over. Logan smiled and cuddled up to Virgil. He yawned and they were soon asleep under the blanket, holding each other scared that if they let go, they would never see each other again.

Jared Ugo, a child genius under the nickname ‘Ban’ is caught between his own haunting past and a bleak future. Whilst he dealt with the pain of guilt and suicidal thoughts over the years, a storm was quietly brewing. That is, until the person closest to him passed away in an accident. His mind plunges, but alas, this creates an opportunity for him to close the distance between him and his mother, a chance to seize the motherly love he’s yearned for the first time in his life. But that hope would be trampled over as he finally meets the ghost of a man forged from his own sin. He struggles to stay sane as the revenge-driven father seeks to mentally break him down. Jared fights the demon he created, David Cennet, and amidst the hardships, still tries to keep his sense of morals intact despite his growing inclination to disregard them. PS: I've yet to properly proofread this one (when do I ever?) but I figured I'd upload it and maybe get some feedback in the mean time as I'm more focused on other stories and excessive drinking.
