Roman woke up alone. He looked around the room and walked into the living room. Janus was curled up in a ball on the living room couch, but Logan was nowhere to be found. Roman immediately turned towards the balcony hoping to see Logan and saw Patton with his head in his hands. He walked over and opened the door knocking. Patton lifted his head up and wiped his face.
"Oh...morning Ro." Patton smiled.
"Patton what happened?" He asked as he sat beside Patton. Patton showed his his phone.
"I got this from Logan, he told me he was only going out for some air I thought..." Patton screamed into his hands. "God I'm so stupid."
"Patt, you aren't stupid." Roman looked down at the text and his eyes widened.

Roman looked up at Patton.
"He definitely didn't do this on purpose Patton," Roman placed the phone down on the table in front of them. "He's sacrificing himself again."
"He...he said we'd figure this out together why would he go there alone!" Patton leaned into Roman. Roman held him. He smiled sadly.
"If I could wish for one thing, it'd take the smile that you bring. Wherever you go in this world, I'd come along..." Patton laughed and wiped his face.
"Roman stop that." Patton laughed. Roman smirked.
"You love me." Roman leaned forward and kissed Patton. Patton kissed back and when they pulled away Roman continued to humm the song he made for Patton on their first date. Patton started singing along and then the door opened, neither of them really noticing until Janus spoke up.
"Can you two stop being so gross." He plopped down in between them. Patton laughed and poked his nose. Janus went to bite his hand.

"Hey Janus, with everything going on we uh...forgot to show you." Patton got up and walked into the house. Roman smiled and hugged Janus excited. Patton bounces back over to the two handing Janus the paperwork. Janus looked down at it interested.
"What's this?" He asked. His eyes widened in surprise when he saw the signatures of his parents and Roman and Patton on the bottom as well as officials and the stamp of approval from the courts. "I...you adopted me!" Janus looked up from the papers eyes wet with tears. Roman smiled.
"We had to get you out somehow and before...well we got together at school with them and they signed the papers telling us good luck with you basically. I'm sorry they didn't really give two fucks but, at the same time I'm not. Welcome to the family Janus Hart." Roman smiled.
"I...thank you" Janus tackled them in a hug and started to cry. "Thank you so much."
"We'll grab your things as soon as we can Janus." Patton smiled. "I can't wait for you to come live with us."
"Neither can I." Roman smiled. "I'm really really happy you get to be our son."
"You guys seriously, thank you so much." Janus hugged them tighter. "I love you both thank you"
"Of course we love you too kiddo!" Patton hugged him back. "Now how about we make breakfast?" They all nodded and went into the kitchen, Roman took a deep breathe and pocketed the phone. Logan can protect himself...right? Right. Right now, they needed to make sure Janus stayed happy for when they get Virgil back. Because Logan had a surprise up his sleeve for Virgil and both Roman and Patton were excited to help him out with it.
