《TNS Piper's Problems》Chapter 7: Look at what you did!

Piper's POV:
I got to the studio early, knowing that Lily and her mother would be at there, but I looked all over the place and I couldn't find her.
I knocked on the office door and Miss Angela looked up at me and waved me in. "Yes, Piper?" She said, going back to filling a form. "Um, do you know where your daughter is?" I asked her, afraid that she would shout at me, but she didn't she just sighed and held her head in her hands.
"I think she's in Shakes and Ladders. Please talk to her for me, Piper. She won't say a word to me." She pleaded, tiredly, as I nodded, thanked her and left.
That was weird, she's always rude to me but now she needs my help- of course.
But anyways, I went to Shakes and Ladders to find Lily at a table in the back corner, pretty hidden as the place was busy.
She had her head on the table and she was crying; I felt really bad for her. Whatever's happening with her parents most really be affecting her.
"Hey Lily." I said, sitting opposite her, as she hurriedly wiped her tears. "Um hey, Piper. I mean, what do you want?" She said as it suddenly clicked in my mind.
Lily wasn't a bad person, her mother just forced her to behave in the way that she did.
"What's the matter?" I asked gently as her lip quivered and she turned to the side. "You wouldn't understand." She mumbled as I assured her that I would.
"My mum and dad got divorced and now my mum keeps blaming me. I tried to call him but he doesn't want anything to do with us." She explained quietly before breaking into sobs again as I patted her shoulder.
"I think the music room is free, J troupe aren't coming in today, so let's go and talk." I suggested as she hesitantly nodded.
As soon as we got to the music room, we sat down on the floor and I gave her a large hug. "I was always a daddy's girl and now I just want him and my old mum back. Mum's been so stressed and she takes it out on me all the time." She mumbled, continuously wiping her tears, as I was tempted to say "and me too", since I was also always facing the wrath of Angela too, but then I decided against it.

"Sometimes you've just got to let people go. If he truly loves you then he'll find his way back to you." I responded, looking down at my hands, as I fiddled with the hem of my top.
"What about you? Are you closer with your mum or with your dad?" Lily asked, kindly. "Um, I've never had a chance to be a mummy's girl, she passed away when I was born and my dad and I aren't really on the best terms." I whispered as she gave me a hug. "Oh, I'm sorry. At least you have your siblings." She replied, trying to sound optimistic.
I could've been honest but I didn't want anyone to get worried about my home life, so I decided to lie. I used to rarely lie and now I do it a lot. "Yeah, my brothers. They're always there for me. They're great." I said with a wobbly smile but Lily bought it.
"See, that's good. At least you've got somebody. You've got A troupe too... and me as well." She said, hugging me again as I just nodded and smiled, not saying a word. "Let's go back to rehearsals. It has probably started by now." I said, standing up.
She nodded and we headed to studio A, talking about a lot of different things. When we walked in, everyone smiled, even Miss Angela. She signalled to Lily and the two of them headed to the office to talk, and I was happy that Lily could have her mother back.
After a short while, I saw Lily and Angela hugging and I smiled, gleefully. "What's up with them?" Kingston asked, curiously. "Lily got her mother back." I whispered, but no one heard me.
As they walked out, Lily beamed at me and so did Angela, which made me smile back, happy that they had a good relationship again.

It's been two days since I talked to Lily and she's gotten a lot closer to all of us but today that changed.
Once again, Angela was in a livid mood and was taking it out on every single one of us. Mostly me, though it's expected. Lily tried to help me out but her mother yelled at her.

"Miss Kate said that one of you brats called her last night, saying that you wanted a new studio head and I think I know who it was!" She shouted when we were on a break, as she glared at me.
"It wasn't me!" I shouted back. Last night, me and Lily were having a sleepover at Amy's house, so they would've heard if I made any phone calls.
"Yeah, it's true! It wasn't her, she and Lily were at my place for a sleepover and she barely left my side!" Amy shouted, defending me as I looked at Lily.
She looked at me with soft eyes and opened her mouth to say something but her mother shut her up with a glare. She made eye contact with me before looking down, with guilt in her eyes.
Why would she be looking guilty? Unless-
"Yeah, we had a sleepover and I heard her make the call, mum. Amy helped too, they wanted to get rid of you and I." She said, still looking down, mine and Amy's mouths hanging open as Angela smirked, evilly.
"Well I trust my daughter more than the two of you, so as punishment, Amy you go to that corner, do a bridge and hold it for 15 minutes and Piper, go to the other corner and do an aerial, over and over until I tell you to stop." Angela said as A troupe started protesting, me and Amy silently talking to each other through our eyes.
"If you don't do as instructed then you're off A troupe and I'll make sure that the two of you will be done in the dance world. If anyone has something to say, you can join them." Angela finished off as me and Amy quietly walked to our corners.
5 minutes in and Amy looks dizzy from her head being upside down, and her arms are shaking. I was still doing my aerials, but I wasn't even landing them, I was landing on my knees, beginning to feel extremely sick.
Nobody's POV:
At around 10 minutes, Amy and Piper simultaneously collapsed on the floor, unconscious.
"Look at what you did!" Richelle screamed. When Amy and Piper started their punishment, A troupe had been yelling at them to stop and had been yelling at Miss Angela. Lily watched them in shame; she shouldn't have listened to her mother.
"Call Miss Kate!" Henry said, frantically. "On it!" Kingston yelled, almost immediately. Finn picked Piper up and gently placed her in the centre of the room as Henry did the same for Amy.
After some few minutes, Piper came to and then Amy did; they just rested with plenty of water. Miss Kate finally came in and screamed at Angela but surprisingly, she didn't fire her.
"What the butt?! How is she not fired yet?!" Ozzy yelled, as Angela smirked and Kate looked at them sadly. "I can't fire her because I don't have anyone to replace her." She explained sadly but before anyone could argue with her, she got an urgent phone call and had to leave.
No one noticed Lily leave the room, bursting into guilty tears.
No one noticed the way Angela grinned evilly at A troupe, not even caring anymore about her own child.
No one noticed the inner turmoil that Piper was going through, and they weren't going to notice it until it was too late...

Far Strider
A college student finds himself transported into a strange land with burgeoning magical powers, and is taken in by Ned Stark. Will he sink or swim in this medieval society, and will he ever get home? ====================== OC-insert without knowledge of Game of Thrones, new planeswalker. Slow power ramp. Second crossover: Star Wars (around chapter 39). ======================= As a note, I started this as a speed writing challenge to myself. The challenge was successful, and I managed 100,000+ words (as well as some character sheets in excel and such) over 10.5 days. Then I had to stop and let my hands recover from their burgeoning carpal tunnel syndrome. The story currently stands at around 150,000 words (or ~550 RRL pages) over 54 chapters; expect a chapter a day until I've caught up with the backlog. The focus of this story was not quality writing, and that hasn't changed. I mostly use it as my semi-guilty "I need to write something, but am not focused enough to write something good" story. Expect self-indulgent writing in general, and a bit of OP (or, well, more than just a bit if we're being honest), especially later in the story as the protagonist matures into a more full-blown Planeswalker. But if you're looking for something with a power-ramping protagonist romping around the place, something you'd be a bit embarrassed to admit liking (I know I am) but like anyways (and come on, this is RRL, so that probably describes just about everyone here who actually has shame), then this may be a nice bit of mental junk food for you.
