《TNS Piper Season 8 (Must Read)》Oneshot #3: Amy finds out

Piper's POV:
"I'm gonna tell her." I said to Finn on the phone as I walked to the studio.
Finn and some others weren't coming to the studio today, but I had a rehearsal and so did Amy. I had to tell her about the kiss; it was driving me insane.
"Piper, wait. I can get dressed and meet you at the studio, so that we can tell her together." He said, as I heard rustling, indicating that he was going to get ready.
"No, no, Finn. It's okay, I'll tell her. If I don't do it today then I don't know when I'll have the confidence to again." I explained, looking up at the sky to keep the tears at bay.
She's going to hate me.
"But I kissed you first, it's my fault, so you shouldn't have to take the fall, please, Pipes." Finn said, desperately, probably knowing that I was going to break down at Amy's reaction.
"Finn, please just stay home. I've got this." I said, trying my best to sound confident. "But-" He started, but I interrupted him. "Gotta go, bye, Finn!" I said, before hanging up.
I walked into the Next Steep and inhaled the sweet scent of tea, before heading to studio A. Amy was already there, stretching and she smiled at me, but I couldn't bring myself to smile back.
I grabbed her hand and silently led her to the locker room, bracing myself for what I had to tell her. "Pipes, what's the matter?" Amy said, as we sat down on the couch in the locker room.
"Amy, I have to tell you something, but please, please don't hate me. I promise that when we realised what we were doing, we pulled away. Please, don't hate me." I said, stopping myself before I started rambling.
"It's alright, Pipes. It can't be that bad. We're Pamy, we'll figure it out." She said, with a concerned and confused smile.
"I-I-" I started, not knowing how to tell her. "Oh, sorry, Pipes, rehearsals are starting but you can tell me later. Right?" She asked, as I silently nodded.
She gave me a warm smile, heading to the door and I knew that it was now or never.
"Amy, Finn and I kissed while you guys were still dating!" I blurted out, putting my hand over my mouth, my heart breaking at the shock and heart on Amy's face as she turned around.
"You, what?" She whispered, as her eyes welled up. "Amy, I'm so sor-" I began but she cut me off.
"How could you, Piper?! You're meant to be my best friend. Why would you do that to me? Did I do something wrong to you? Why, Piper, why? You of all people. You know what? I never want to see or talk to you ever again for the rest of my life!" She yelled, as tears rapidly fell down my face mirroring the tears on her face.

"We were meant to be Pamy forever." She whispered sadly, before storming out of the locker room.
I sat down on the couch, letting out ugly sobs before remembering about rehearsal. I furiously wiped my tears, checked my face and walked into studio A, beginning to stretch, as Emily came out.
During rehearsals, I tried to apologise to Amy but she ignored me and kept on walking away from me. Henry and Richelle, along with some other A troupe's who were at rehearsals today, were concerned and I ended up telling them what happened, only Henry and Richelle, the rest were just confused but I ignored them.
Henry and Richelle tried to cheer me up and promised to try and talk to Amy. After rehearsals, I slowly walked to the locker room and texted my mum to tell her that I was sleeping round Richelle's place and she said it was fine.
After telling James and forwarding mum's message to him, I sat on the couch, pulled my knees up to my chest and buried my face in them, crying my heart out.
The words from the song 'Here with me' kept replaying through my mind, as I kept on sobbing.
"There's a pain in my heart and it won't go away."
I was so caught up in my thoughts and tears that I didn't even notice Emily walk in with Nick.
Emily's POV:
I stared in shock at the broken girl, crying her heart out on the couch.
I was exhausted and just wanted to go home and sleep but my sister in law was there, clearly upset, I couldn't just leave her.
"There, there, poppet." Nick whispered, repeatedly, into Piper's hair, as he hugged her and she continued to cry onto his shoulder.
"Okay, hun, why don't Nick and I go get some blankets and mats. We can have a sleepover and then you can tell us what's wrong." I suggested to her as I knelt down in front of her, as she wiped away her tears and nodded.
"Come on, Nick." I said, as we walked to my car, and headed to my house. I walked back into the locker room as Nick stumbled in carrying blankets, pillows and an air mattress.
Once we had set everything up, I opened my arms and said, "Come here", to Piper as she crashed into me, breaking into sobs.
"She hates me, Em. She hates me. She'll never forgive me!" She cried out as I held her in my arms. When her tears slowed down, she explained what happened and I inhaled sharply.
That... was not good.
"It's alright, Piper, dear. Just talk to her, she's your best friend." Nick said, rubbing her shoulders as I agreed.

"Nick's right. Just talk to her, she'll understand because she loves you, she's your best friend. What you and Finn did was wrong but everyone makes mistakes. Just talk to her." I said, as she hesitantly nodded.
"Let's go to sleep, we have to get up early in the morning." I said, as Piper lay next to me in my double air mattress and Nick lay down on his yoga mat.
"Thanks, Emmy." Piper whispered. "Ssh, not in front of Nick." I whispered back but it was too late, Nick had already heard.
"Emmy? That's cute, I call her Embo!" He said as Piper laughed. "Nick, go to bed!" I said, as he grumbled like a petulant child, which made me roll my eyes and smile.
In the morning, around 6, I woke Piper and Nick up. We cleared the locker room and I took them back to my house, to get ready for the day. "Here." I said as I handed the two of them spare toothbrushes.
"Ugh, what do I do about my hair?" I heard Piper mumble to herself as I laughed and told her to sit down. I French braided her hair and she hugged me as a thank you before we all had breakfast and headed back to the studio.
"You got this." I told her, as I saw Amy head into the locker room. Nick agreed and patted her shoulder as she timidly walked into the locker room.
Piper's POV:
I nodded my head to myself and walked into the locker room, seeing Amy put her things away.
She turned around and looked at me before crossing her arms and walking past me.
"Amy, please." I said, my voice cracking. She slowly turned around and sat on the sofa. "What?" She asked coldly.
"Please Amy. I'm so so unbelievably sorry. I never meant to hurt you. I just got caught up in the moment. I love you so much, you're my best friend, and I can't lose you. I just can't. Please forgive me, I promise that I'll never date Finn, just please forgive me! Please, Amy, I'm begging you." I cried out, tears running down my face as I kneeled in front of her, literally begging on my knees.
She wiped her tears and stood up, holding out her hand for me to stand up too. "Finn apologised to me yesterday, he was also on his knees." She said, letting out a small, wobbly laugh.
"What you did really hurt but I forgive you. I love you too and I don't want to lose you either. You can date Finn; me, Henry and Richelle had a long talk last night and I realised that I've also had my fair share of moments, and I get it. I want you and Finn to be happy. Together." She said, as I smiled at her and hugged her tightly.
"Thank you, Ames. For everything." I said as we hugged. "No problem, Pipes." She replied as we both wiped our tears and headed back to rehearsals.
As we walked in, Emily smiled happily and mouthed, "I told you so" as Nick winked at me and smiled. I laughed slightly and smiled back at them, joyful that Amy decided to forgive me.
"Go get your man, Pipes." She said, laughing as she gently pushed me into the direction of Finn, who was looking at me with hopeful eyes.
"Hey." He said, smiling as I stood next to him. "Hey." I replied.
"So, I talked to Amy, yesterday. She said she forgave me and said that she was okay if we dated. She also said that if I hurt you, she'll kill me." Finn said, as I laughed.
"Yeah, I talked to Amy just now. I'm so happy that I've got my best friend back." I said happily.
"So, do you maybe want to go on a date tomorrow evening?" He asked me hopefully, as I sighed, pretending to think about it, as he stared at me worriedly.
"I'm just kidding! I'd love to go on a date with you." I said, laughing at his relieved face.
"Okay, good! I'll come up with the perfect first date, and I'll pick you up at 8. See ya, Pipes!" He said, before giving me a kiss on my forehead and running off to Henry, probably asking him for ideas, since everyone knew that he was the king of romance.
I laughed slightly before looking over at Amy. All the girls were smirking at me, before squealing as I gave them all excited thumbs up.
"Thanks Ames!" I said as I hugged her. "No problem, Pipes. It's great to see you so happy!" She said, as I proceeded to tell the girls that I had a date with Finn.
When Emily hushed us and started the rehearsal, she sent me a knowing smirk and I smiled back at her, before turning back to Amy.
"Pamy forever?" Amy asked hopefully, sticking out her pinky finger. I connected my pinky finger with hers and hugged her tightly.
"Pamy forever."

A Hunt Upon Wings of Shadows
Lianne has spent the last few years of her life as a nomadic monster-hunter, aimlessly taking jobs and disappearing without a trace. Her innately high ether reserves are the only thing that’s keeping her alive. After a painful yet successful contract, she receives an offer to hunt a peculiar beast from a mysterious man who- much to her dismay- pairs her with a man by the name of Sirius, a skilled swordsman with too much empathy to give out. At the same time, inside the impossibly tall walls of the divine city, a group of soldiers including a naive yet powerful girl by the name of Felicia, an exemplar soldier named Raynauld, and a scarred and aloof woman named Maria prepare to head out on a mission to deliver justice to a deserter who is reported to be in a large town far outside the lush interior of the city. However, the two groups will find that their paths will intertwine, and painful memories will push them against each other at every turn, with new monsters emerging from the shadows to pick each of them apart piece by piece. ************************** Alright, so this is the first book I've posted here, and I've been sitting on this idea for a long while. I'm open to any pieces of criticism, and I would be glad to receive tips and advice. Enjoy! Normally, new chapters come out Saturday nights, sometimes double uploads if there's a short chapter or if I feel like it. That's subject to change if I run out of the current backlog. Second note, this is the first draft, and some things (like a few characters) are going to be cut. It's still going to be the same storyline, but keep that in mind.
