《TNS Piper Season 8 (Must Read)》Oneshot #2: Piper gets drunk pt 2

Amy's POV:
"And pose." Emily called out as we got into our final poses for our Dancemania performance. It was to the song 'One dance' and it was going really well.
"Great rehearsal guys, what do you think, Michelle?" Emily said, glancing at Michelle, who was helping Emily out.
Emily told us that after Dancemania, she was going to be joining Michelle on their tour and sure, we were all devastated and there were a lot of tears from all of us, especially Richelle, as she and Emily were close, and Piper as Emily is her sister in law; but we all congratulated Emily and told her how proud of her we all were.
Someone cleared their throat and Emily rolled her eyes. "So what do you think, Michelle and Nick?" She said in a sarcastic voice as Nick smiled at her. "I think it's going great, but it just needs more practice. What about you, Nick?" Michelle said kindly, as Nick smiled unsurely.
"Um, um, it was great, they moved around... really... um... professionally?" He said, but in a questioning voice as we all laughed at his lack of knowledge.
"Okay guys, take 20 and drink plenty of water!" Michelle said, smiling before Emily cleared her throat. "Take 10 guys, just 10." She said with a sarcastic smile as Michelle shook her head and laughed.
"So Pipes, how'd you find that rehearsal?" I asked Piper, happily, once she had finished talking to Finn. "It was good. But intense. We went through that dance like a million times!" She responded in a dramatic way, as I laughed with her.
"Let's go get some water." I suggested as she nodded and we went to our bags. "Ugh, I don't have mine." She said in a frustrated voice. "I don't have mine either. I left it at your house." I replied, laughing at the memory of last night.
"Now I remember, I left it next to yours on the counter! I can't believe we lost 3 rounds of hardcore JustDance to James and Riley." Piper said, laughing slightly, as I agreed.
"Let's just go to the water fountain." She suggested as I nodded and followed her to the fountains, just to find out that they were all being repaired. "Now what?" Piper asked, as I checked my phone. We only had 5 minutes of our break left.
"Umm, let's go to the Next Steep and just buy a water." I said, and with that, we headed to the tea establishment. "Hey Jenna! Can we get two bottles of water please?" Piper asked the nice barista as I searched for some spare change.
"Hey girls! It's your lucky day. We're doing a campaign to raise awareness for those who don't have clean water to drink, so we hired a couple of guys to give out some free water bottles, over there." Jenna replied, pointing to two guys, handing out bottles.
"That looks like Josh and Elliot." I heard Piper whisper from beside me, as we both stiffened. "Well, we don't need water, do we?" She asked, trying to be optimistic but I gave her a half-smile and a pointed look. "Yeah, you're right. Don't wanna pass out from dehydration." She said, as we both laughed.
Josh's POV:

"Are you sure about this, Elliot?" I asked, unsure about the rash plan that Elliot had come up with.
"Yes, and let that be the last time you question me! Just get them over here, we get them drunk, they get kicked off of A troupe and you and I get back on it. I need a good reputation with the head of my Broadway company or else, I'll get fired. And don't you want to get closer to Piper?" Elliot said as I half shrugged.
This just seemed wrong, but I had no time to think about it as he stomped on my foot and pointed to Amy and Piper, who were gingerly walking over to us.
"I would've preferred Richelle and Noah to be the ones to get drunk but those two will work just fine." Elliot said with a sick smirk on his face. I rolled my eyes, not bothering to tell him that Noah left; I found out on Instagram.
"Hey, girls! Want a bottle of water? It's free to create awareness for people without clean water to drink!" Elliot said, over-enthusiastically.
Piper's POV:
"Hey, girls! Want a bottle of water? It's free to create awareness for people without clean water to drink!" Elliot said, and I discreetly rolled my eyes, but I think he saw because he sent a nasty glare to which I responded with my own death glare.
"Sure..." Amy said apprehensively. "Well, I think it's sad that so many people die from lack of good hydration." Elliot began as we looked at him weirdly.
He went on for a few minutes about 'good hydration' before Josh shut him up by rolling his eyes and handing us bottles of water. We took them and drank them, stopping when the water left an acidic taste in our mouths.
We gave each other looks, then looked at Josh and Elliot who were giving bottles to others who were drinking it normally. For some reason, it tasted like medicine. "Is it just me or does this taste like medicine?" Amy asked as I nodded.
"Oh, it's probably because you guys haven't had water in a while, it always happens to me when I dance really hard or do intense sports." Josh said quickly, laughing awkwardly as we just shrugged.
"Oh my gosh, we have like one minute till we have to get back." Amy said as she glanced at her phone. We looked at each other again and shrugged, gulping down the rest of the water before turning around to back to studio A. We made it like a metre before feeling dizzy.
"Ames, do you feel... funny?" I asked slowly, hanging onto Amy. "Um...yeah. I feel dizzy." She replied. "Oh, um maybe you need some sugar in your systems." Josh suggested before leading us to a carpark. He handed us what looked like cans of fruit juice.
"Ooh, I love fruit juice." Amy said excitedly. Fruit juice was her weakness, she literally lived for it. We both took it and drank it, even though it left a funny taste. The juice was sweet and fizzy but it made me feel dizzy and giddy.
"Here have another one." Elliot said, from out of nowhere, before handing another can to Amy and I. "Now, off you go to rehearsals, wouldn't want Emily to kill you." He said smugly as me and Amy laughed uncontrollably and stumbled over each other.

"Now, just watch. They're gonna get themselves kicked off of A troupe." I heard Elliot mutter but me and Amy were already walking to studio A, laughing at everything around us.
Emily's POV:
"Where are they?!" I yelled. It has been 10 minutes since A troupe came back for rehearsals and Amy and Piper still hadn't arrived.
"Alright guys, let's go through the routine whilst we wait for Piper and Amy to return." Michelle said, as I paced furiously. "Michelle." I said, pausing. Something didn't feel... right. Amy and Piper would never be late after a break. They're always punctual.
She hummed and I turned to her. "Something's gone wrong. I know Amy and Piper and they wouldn't be late to a rehearsal, especially with how close Dancemania is." I ranted as Michelle nodded in understanding. "Well, let's wait for about 5 minutes, just in case they-" She started but was cut off by the sound of giggling.
I knew that sound.
"Amy and Piper! Where the HECK have you two been?!" I shouted but they were just laughing and stumbling around the place.
What the-
"Are you... are you guys drunk?!" I asked in disbelief as they hung onto each other, trying not to fall over. "Relax Em, is just fruit juice." Amy said, still holding a pink can.
"That's pink vodka!" Michelle whisper-yelled in my ear as I gave her a look. "What? Don't judge, I like all things pink!" She said in defense as I sighed and looked back at the giggly girls in front of me.
"You call James, I'll deal with whatever this is." I said, gently pushing Michelle to the office. "Where did you get this from?" I demanded, taking the can from Amy, ignoring her protests.
"From Elliot and Josh. Is really good." Piper replied, slurring her words. "Why the heck would you take a drink from them?!" I yelled as they just shrugged. "Finn, put this in the bin." I said, handing him the can, whilst rubbing my forehead.
I turned to him, to see him and Henry sniffing the can. "Should we taste it? I live for fruit juice too." I heard Henry whisper to Finn who held the can to his mouth.
"FINLEY! If you so much as sniff that can one more time, I will slap you all the way back to your fruity moons commercial!" I screamed as he held his hands up in surrender and threw the can in the bin.
"Yo, Em, wassup? What's the emergency?" James said, not noticing his sister and her best friend stumbling around on the corner, as Michelle, dragged him into the office.
"The emergency is that someone got Piper and Amy drunk." I heard Michelle say before pointing to A troupe, who were huddling around Piper and Amy.
I shook my head gently and smiled at A troupe as they tried to look after Piper and Amy who looked like they were living their best life.
Angrily, I stormed past the office, livid at the thought of Elliot and Josh purposefully getting the girls drunk. I thought Josh was a good guy; he certainly was when he was on TNS East.
I looked around The Next Steep to see the two boys handing bottles to people and it instantly clicked just how they managed this.
Furiously, I grabbed the boys by their ears and harshly dragged them outside to the carpark.
"What is wrong with the both of you?!" I yelled, once we were outside. Elliot tried to play dumb but I wasn't having it. Luckily, I made Josh spill everything and I was furious that the two of them were planning on getting two members- any two members- of A troupe kicked out.
"Those are my siblings, you mess with them, you mess with me." I hissed at them, referring to Piper and Amy, and all of A troupe for that matter. I didn't have time to threaten them any longer as a probation officer came up to me and I signed for Josh and Elliot to get restraining orders.
I walked back into studio A to see Eldon carrying Amy and James carrying Piper. "See ya, Ems." James said, as him and Eldon walked out to their cars.
We all shook our heads and smiled fondly at the two drunk girls, wondering what on earth possessed them to take drinks from the likes of Elliot.
Didn't anyone teach them about stranger danger?!
Piper's POV:
I woke up, groggily, rubbing my forehead to try and soothe the aching sensation.
My whole body was on fire and I felt horrible. I turned slightly to see Amy sleeping beside me, with a frown etched on her face.
I know for a fact that she only does that when she's in pain, so she must be having a headache just as bad as mine.
I lay back down and closed my eyes, feeling someone place a cooling pad on my head, and went back to sleep.
About 20 minutes later, I was woken up by the sound of vomiting and when Amy trudged back to bed, I gave her a big hug, which she gratefully returned.
Only 10 minutes later, I was the one making a dash for the bathroom and getting hugs from Amy, and this went on for a couple of hours.
James and Riley took great care of us, not leaving our sides; mine and Amy's mothers both checked up on us several times, alternating between our house and their workplaces.
They were both furious and it took all of Emily and Michelle's convincing to stop the two of them murdering Josh and Elliot. I heard from Michelle that A troupe were no help at that time as they quite frankly, wanted to help out our mother's.
When Amy and I got better, we went back to rehearsals, ALWAYS bringing our bottles and spare ones.
We got mercilessly teased by the team and our parents, Emily, Michelle, James and Riley, gave us a long talk about taking things from strangers. That was humiliating, especially as A troupe were there laughing the whole time.
"We'll never do that-" I started to say, at the end of that humiliating 'meeting'.
"-Ever again, we promise!" Amy finished as we gave each other looks, both of our cheeks stained red with embarrassment before we burst out into tears of laughter.
Well, you could definitely say that, that was a lesson well learnt!
