《TNS Piper Season 8 (Must Read)》Oneshot #1: Piper gets drunk pt 1

Piper's POV:
It was Friday night and I was getting ready for a party. This was a school party but even though most of A troupe, apart from Heath, attended the same school as me, no one was coming to the party; everyone else had other things to go to.
I finished my hair and got Lauren to do my makeup before heading towards James' car, ready for his lecture on what not to do at a party.
"Hey Pipes, you look great, obviously, 'cus you're my sister." James said smugly, as I playfully punched his shoulder and laughed.
"Are you sure you don't just want to stay home? I feel like something bad will happen at this party." He said, cautiously as I rolled my eyes at him.
"It's because you're going into overprotective mode. Just relax, everything will be fine. Don't even worry about it!" I said, using his own famous words, nudging him slightly.
"Alright, alright, fine. But remember, no boys, never go upstairs at a party and definitely no alcohol. Got it?" He asked as I nodded.
"Don't worry, I haven't touched alcohol and I don't plan on starting now." I replied, patting his shoulder to reassure him, which worked as he nodded reluctantly and began to drive me to the party.
"Call me if you need me." James reminded as I got out of the car. I nodded at him and watched his car go back down the street before walking into the party that seemed to be in full swing.
"Hey Samantha!" I said, to one of my school friends who waved at me. "Hey Piper, wanna hang?" She asked as I nodded.
We played all sorts of games and I watched in laughter as my other friends played beer pong, even though they were underage. As I was laughing, I caught a glimpse of a guy looking at me but I ignored it and continued to have fun with my friends and eat junk food.

"Hey guys, I'm gonna get a bottle of water." I said after a while. "Hold on, I'll come with you." Hannah said, slurring as she stumbled to get up. "No, no, you're too drunk, just sit, I'll be right back." I replied, smiling.
She tried to nod and fell back onto her seat as I weaved in between people trying to get to the kitchen. I tapped on a guy's shoulder by the counter and asked him for a water.
"Um, your friend is trying to get your attention." The guy said in a deep voice, fiddling with something, still keeping his back to me.
I turned around and glanced back at the table, me and my friends were at. They were just laughing and messing around.
"Um, no they seem preoccupied." I said, turning to face the guy, who was still rummaging around, probably for my water bottle. "Oh, sorry, I must've mistaken it." He replied as I just nodded.
He handed me a bottle with his head down, so I never got a good look at his face but I shrugged and thanked him anyway for the water bottle.
I opened it, not hearing that click you hear when you open a fresh bottle of water, but I was so thirsty that I ignored it and downed the bottle.
I drank at least half of the bottle before doubling over and coughing at the burning feeling at the back of my throat. "What the heck?" I said, feeling dizzy.
"Here, have this bottle of water. I don't know what happened to that one." The guy said, and I eagerly took it from him, downing half of that one too, not noticing the acidic taste it left.
"What... is this?" I asked slowly, stumbling over my words, trying to stand upright, but everything kept spinning.

"Vodka." The guy said, finally turning around to look at me. "J...Josh? What are you doing here?" I asked, not even realising that I was still drinking the bottle of 'water' he gave me.
I stopped caring, though because of the warm, fuzzy feeling spreading through my body. I didn't listen to his answer, I just kept drinking the different bottles that he gave me.
"Wanna dance?" He asked and I just blindly nodded. After half an hour of dancing, I got bored and began to complain to Josh. "Okay, why don't we go upstairs?" He suggested as I looked at him, puzzled.
Thinking hurt my head but the word 'upstairs ' was ringing a bell in my head, yet I couldn't put a finger on it. "There's a game room upstairs." Josh added quickly, probably sensing my visible confusion.
I shrugged and began to follow him up the stairs when my phone started ringing. "Ignore it." Josh said, but I ignored him and answered it.
"Piper? Are you okay? My sibling senses are tingling." James said.
"Heyyyyyy, Jay Jay! Wassup?!" I responded, using the banister to keep upright, as I could barely stand on my own.
"ARE YOU DRUNK?! WHAT DID I TELL YOU?!" He yelled, which hurt my head. "Stop shouting, I'm not drunk. This guy gave me water and it tasted funny but now we're going upstairs to play games!" I explained happily to James, slurring my words.
"Piper, what did I tell you about going upstairs at a party?" He asked me grumpily, as I shrugged even though he couldn't see me.
"Listen, get away from that guy and go outside, I'm coming to get you." He said as I heard the sound of his car starting up. "But-" I started but I was interrupted by James sighing. "Please, Pipes." He said and I huffed before saying bye to Josh who was protesting but I just ignored him again and walked outside.
After about 5 minutes of sitting on the ground and playing with the grass, I saw James running towards me. He picked me up and put me in the backseat. He was saying something but I was so dizzy and I fell asleep.

"Oww!" I groaned, holding a hand to my forehead. My head was pounding, miserably; it felt like someone was hitting me with a hammer. It was like midnight and I was in my bed at James and Riley's house.
I got up from the bed and dashed to the bathroom, making it just in time to throw up in the toilet, as Riley held my hair back.
That was how my night was spent for a while before I finally stopped vomiting and I just lay in my bed with James fanning me and Riley putting a cooling pad on my face.
"Oh Pipes. This is why you don't take drinks from random people!" I faintly heard Riley saying before I fell back asleep.
That was awful, I never want to go to another party or even look at alcohol ever again!
