after waking up a bit early you decided to make waffles. you sat at the island and used the waffle maker. there next to it sat a plate of waffles and after putting another one on the plate you saw maggie.

you couldn't help but be intrigued by your fiancé, she looked beautiful as ever. "hey babe," she said, smiling while sitting across from you. her hair laid just right on the bright shirt that complimented her eyes.

"hey honey, fun little fact for you this morning," you started, closing the waffle iron while looking over at her, "waffles are just pancakes with abs." you finished with a wink and jazz hands.

normally that wouldn't be funny but between your messy hair and the early time, maggie couldn't stop herself from laughing. she slightly tilted her head, questioning why you even said it.
