"So we made you fake glasses that you can wear, it's basically just a layer of glass over your eyes." Vasquez lifts up Katie's old frames, "Sorry you had to deal with General Lane."

Katie shrugs, the two females walking to her training room, "Oh that was no problem, I've been wanted to put him in his place since he came here."

Vasquez laughs, "Trust me, everyone in the DEO practically hates him." She paused to look at her, "How are you feeling?"

"Hmm?"

"Knowing that you weren't made this way. You were born with these powers."

Katie simply gave Vasquez a shrug, "To be totally honest, I don't really know how I feel. I kept blaming that Wells guy for all of this, but it wasn't his fault. The only thing he truly did was trigger my mutation, which could have happened at any time."

Vasquez gave her a curt nod, typing in the code to her training room, "It is a good thing that is was triggered earlier, this way you have the time to fully control it." Katie walked into the training room, turning around to see that the door had already closed, she paused waiting for Vasquez to speak into the microphone, "What if this happened during childbirth, from the stress? You could hurt your own children if you can't control it."

Katie puffed out her cheeks, completely agreeing with Vasquez, there are possibilities that her mutation could have been triggered during horrible moments in time, causing absolute catastrophes, "You're not wrong." She shook her hands out, "Okay, what's the first thing you want me to do?"

"Henshaw wants you to be able to control how much heat you create, so let's start there." Vasquez states, "No flame, try to make the room as warm as you can without creating a flame, or even a spark."

Katie nods, doing her best to concentrate on not creating flames, she felt the room heating up, but just as it got really hot in the room her hand sparked and a fire erupted from her palms. She cursed, putting it out easily, "Damn it."

"Hey, the upside is you were able to put it out without even thinking."

"I guess." Katie threaded her fingers through her hair, "How long did I last until the fire started?"

"A long time actually, five minutes."

"That's a long time?" Katie groans, "How long should I try to go for?"

"Until I tell you to stop."

Katie nodded her head, shutting her eyes and calming herself. She took a deep breath, allowing the room around her to heat up. It was getting extremely hot, but it didn't affect Katie at all. The heat was absorbing in her. 'Come on Katie, let's bring you to the merry-go-round.' Katie flinched at the sudden thought of her father, but she kept concentrating, making sure no fire came from her hands.

"Katie." KCatie opened her eyes, making the room go back to the normal temperature, "You did it."

Katie covered her mouth and grinned, "Yes! What's next?"

"Creating a very small flame, like a lighter small."

Katie pursed her lips, she snapped her fingers as if she was using a lighter, and a small flame came out of her finger, "It's so cute."

"Now let's keep that in your hand, try creating a ball."

Katie put her other hand on the flame, making two balls in each of her hands, she laughed at it, and began to juggle them around, "This is actually kind of fun."

Vasquez laughed on the speaker, "You're lucky I'm not Henshaw, he wouldn't let you goof off like this."

Katie created a third ball of fire, actually juggling them like a clown would, "I'm sure he'd yell at me, but actually juggling flames makes me want to laugh. This would be the most abnormal thing to see ever."

"Okay, more serious. Do you think you can throw them?"

"Well, I'm assuming since I'm juggling them around."

Vasquez snorted on the mic, "We made holographic programs that explode when reacting to too much heat."

Katie engulfed her hands in flames, "Bring it on."

Leah smiled next to Winn as they watched a movie, her eyes glancing up at him every once in awhile, he wanted to show her this musical called 'Newsies'. The main guys really reminded her of him, they looked really alike that it kind of creeped Leah out, but she enjoyed his singing voice.

"Can you sing like that?"

Winn awkwardly laughed, "Uh... no."

Leah moved from his embrace, catching how his voice hitched a new level, "You know, you are absolutely horrible at lying."

Winn scratched the back of his head, "So as a kid I was forced into choir along with Katie, so we both got really good at singing, I think."

"Maybe you should sing for me." Leah suggested, but he shook his head, "Come on! I'll look away if you're uncomfortable with me staring at you."

Winn smiled at her, swirling his finger on her hand, "It's not that I'm uncomfortable with you looking at me while I sing. I just don't think I'm that good."

"I'll be the judge of that." Leah grins, giving him a soft kiss on the lips, "I promise I will not make fun of you if you're bad at it."

Winn played with his hands before getting up from the couch in search for his speaker. Leah felt her phone buzz in her pocket, she saw that Alex was calling her but she ignored it. Winn walked back in, "Okay, don't make fun of me. I really like this song okay."

Leah nodded her head slowly, "I won't."

Winn wringed his hands together as the music started, Leah's mouth dropped open when Celine Dion began to play, but didn't laugh or make fun of him. She leaned her head back against the couch and waited for him to sing. Winn opened his mouth to begin but quickly shut it when he realized it was the wrong part. When he started to sing, Leah put her hand on her chest, not expecting this. He sounded amazing, like an angel, and it caused her heart to skip a beat.

"Winn..." Leah gazes at him after he finished.

"Don't. I don't want to hear how bad I did."

"No!" Leah got up, "That was spectacular." She gave him a long kiss on the lips, her hands on his cheeks, "I could listen to you sing for the rest of my life."

Winn laughed at her, "Really?"

"Yes!" Leah gave him a large smile, "Can your sister sing like that too?"

"I guess...?"

Leah laughs lightly, "You sound so unsure."

"Because I didn't even know I was good at singing till now." Winn defended.

"You would have if you-"

Katie barges into the room, "LEAH!"

Winn and Leah spring apart in surprise, "What?"

"Kara! She's fighting both of the Red Tornadoes, why didn't you pick up your phone?" Katie rushed inside, "I'm not fully in control. You need to go help her."

"Oh my God." Leah kisses Winn on the cheek, "I'll talk with you after." Her clothes flung off and fell into Winn's arms as she flew out the window.

Katie looked at her brother, a small smile forming on her face, despite the danger Kara was currently in, she just couldn't help but give her brother the warmest smile she could, "You seem happy."

Winn spoke in a daze as she stared at the window, "I am."

Katie put a hand on his shoulder, "You should ask her to move in with you."

"But you live here, wouldn't it get awkward?" Winn turned his head to look down at his twin.

"I was thinking about moving out." Katie adjusted her glasses, "We're too old to be living with each other still. You deserve to live together with your girlfriend."

Winn pulled his sister in for a hug, "Thank you, so so much. Where are you going to live?"

Katie separated from Winn, "Well, Kara has been pestering me about having a roommate. I guess it's time I finally accept her offer."

Winn hugged her again, "Jesus, we're getting so old."

"We grew up a long time ago." Katie wrapped her arms around him.

Leah flew in, kicking one of the Red Tornadoes away from Kara, "Get away from her! Your fight is with me, ugly." It used it's hands to create tornadoes, causing Leah to slam into the truck behind her with a loud thud, making a dent in it. She ducked when it's fist almost connect to her face, she uppercutting him. Leah flew to the right when it swung it's fist again at her, flying back to kick it. She heard Kara cry out in pain, making Leah look away for a split second in worry, allowing the robot to wrap an arm around her neck, pulling her back into it's chest. She coughed when she felt her throat being crushed under it's hold. When suddenly she was released and the robot went flaccid. She wobbled to the ground, regaining her breath. She looked at Kara to see she was going through the same thing. She turned around in confusion to why the robot stopped attacking, "What happened?"

"You did it," Kara says in her ear piece.

Leah jumped back when it turned back on, "They're still moving!"

"No commands are being transmitted to the android. Kara, Leah, it's become sentient." Alex breaths out into the ear piece.

Leah is blown away next to Kara, the two girls helped each other up, their glares sent to the two robots. Leah released a cry and used her laser vision on the robot. Kara soon following. The robots were hit, but slowly made their way over to them.

"Mom!?" Leah cries out, "Aunt Alura, where is my mother?"

Alura looked down at her niece in tears, "Ka-El, she's gon-"

Leah flinched from Alura's touch, tears streaming down her face, "No! She's not gone! She-She-"

Leah screamed loudly, taking a forceful step toward the monster, feeling her laser vision go stronger with her emotions controlling. Her mind imagined her home being destroyed, everyone she loved and knew gone in an instant. Taking another step forward, her yell getting louder. The robots blew up next to each other, Leah's eyes had an excruciating pain coming from them. She dropped down to one knee, breathing heavily. She hadn't thought of those memories in so long that it hurt, she looked over at her cousin, making sure she was okay."

"Supergirl. Captain Marvel. Are you okay?"

"Yeah." Leah panted, "Yeah, we're okay. We're-We're okay."

"It's over."

Leah put her hands on the ground and slammed her palm against it, and released a pained cry. Kara moved over to her, putting an arm around her, feeling the same pain she was going through. The two cousins kept close to each other.

Katie sat next to her brother, looking over at Kara and Leah as Alex came into the room, "Hey. What's going on? Did you find something?"

"Um..." Leah looked over at Kara for a second before looking back at Alex, "You might want to sit down. Winn, tell her."

"Yeah, um, so it took some digging, but I, I located a file on your father's death. Most of it was redacted. Basically he and another agent went to South America to apprehend a hostile alien. It... It didn't go well. Um, both your father and the other agent disappeared. I mean they were both presumed dead, until..."

Alex looked back and forth between Kara and Leah, "Until?"

Katie spoke uncomfortably for Winn, "About a month later the other agent mysteriously showed up. Not a scratch on him. He claims he doesn't remember anything that happened." Katie paused, unsure if she really wanted to say it out loud.

Leah spoke bluntly, "Alex it was Hank."

"These redacted files have his digital signature. He is the one who deleted them." Winn explains.

"Why would he delete the files?" Kara asks.

"Because he's hiding something." Alex says getting angry, "Because maybe the man that I've been working with for the last two years killed my father."

"All we do know is that Hank Henshaw was the last person to see your father alive." Katie states, glancing over at her brother.

🎆~🎆~🎆~🎆~🎆

Kara and Leah walked into Cat's office only to be stopped by Leah's grandmother, who spoke directly toward Kara, "There she is! My car was supposed to be here half an hour ago."

"Hello to you too," Leah grumbles, sitting down on one of the couches.

Kara looked over at Cat in confusion, "Oh! I... I didn't realize I was getting you one."

"How else am I supposed to get to the airport?" She spoke with sarcasm, "Honestly, Kitty, is this creature of yours some sort of unpaid intern? How do you justify paying a salary to such an unreliable person?"

Before Leah could speak up, her mother beat her to it, "First of all, I don't pay her very much. And second, you don't get to talk to her that way." Leah had a smile on her face, but her mouth was wide open.

"Excuse me?"

"I understand, Mother, that you have always been threatened by my success and you try to elevate yourself by denigrating me. Which is fine. But you are not allowed to do the same thing to my assistant who, by the way, is excellent at her job." Kara and Leah looked over at each other, a small smile on their face from Cat's words.

"I think... I'll use the ladies before I go."

Leah clapped when her grandmother left the room, "Oh how long I've waited to see that."

"Thank you for saying I'm excellent at my job. It made me feel normal."

"It was just for effect, get me Advil."

Kara had already grabbed it for her before she came in, "Here."

"Thank you."

Kara gave Leah a smile, "Would you like me to call your mother a car?"

"She can take her broom."

Leah snorted, standing up to stand beside Kara, who placed the glass on the table awkwardly, making it fall over and crack. "Oh, crap."

"Sorry, that was my fault." Kara knelt down, Leah going to help her.

"Be careful, you might cut yourself."

"I'm fine, I'm fine."

Both girls grabbed the same shard of glass, flinching when they were cut. Cat turned around and sighed, "Oh! I told you to be careful. Leah, honey, are you all right?"

Leah held up her hand, surprise was written all over her face, especially when she saw it on Kara too, "We're bleeding?"
