"Yes, this is my technology." Maxwell Lord looked at the bag, turning back to the two females in the room, "Mind telling me where you found it?"

"Inside a bomb that destroyed a lab yesterday," Katie answers, fidgeting with her bracelet.

Alex noticed the small laugh come from him, "You don't seem concerned by that."

"I'm very concerned with how my technology ended up in a weapon since I don't make them," He tossed the bag on the table, leaving his office, "but not with becoming your suspect."

Alex ushered for Katie to follow her, "And why is that?"

"Because it was my lab that was destroyed. It was a subsidiary of one of my companies. Not that it's public knowledge."

Katie was taken aback from that statement, "And you didn't think to share this information with us?"

"I prefer not to rely on the government to solve my problems."

"Any idea who's targeting you?"

Maxwell laughed, spreading his arms to indicate all the work in the room, "I'm trying to change the world, Agent Danvers. So anyone invested in maintaining the status quo would be interested in targeting me."

Katie frowned, "That is conveniently a large suspect pool."

"All right, well, let's narrow it down to former employees with access to the lab, who know how to modify the tech, and have a personal grudge against you."

"I guess now we know who's the brains of the outfit."

Katie rubbed her arm, noticing a ping on her phone, "Well, you'll be glad to know that our director is leaving her behind to protect you." She quickly left the building glad that Henshaw had called her in for more physical training, but it was obvious that Alex was a little annoyed by the fact that she was left alone with him.

"Tonight, Maxwell Lord launches his super train on its maiden voyage, with this..."

Kara pulled her chair out, taking a seat, "You know, I didn't get my first cell phone until I was 16. True story. Are you sure there's nothing I can get you? A snack? A juice box? Anything that will make you happy-"

"Supergirl! Captain Marvel!" Carter suddenly sprung from his seat, seeing the two blondes on the screen.

"Oh." Kara opens her mouth, "Oh, you like Supergirl and Captain Marvel?"

"They're so cool." Carter's eyes skimmed across the multiple T.V.s, "Last week Supergirl stopped Reactron, Superman never did that. And earlier Captain Marvel held up an entire building. And they can shoot lasers from their eyes."

"Wow, they do sound pretty cool."

"I didn't say they were pretty."

"I didn't say you said they were pretty. Why? Do you think they're pretty?" Kara slightly cringed for that fact that Leah was technically his older sister.

"Well, I guess. I don't know."

"Carter, do you maybe have a little crush on them?"

"You got good taste kid." Winn grins, can't help but hear their conversation.

"This is my friend Winn."

"You're Supergirl and Captain Marvel fan, huh? You know..." Winn leans forward whispering, "I know her."

"No, you don't," Carter says.

"No, you don't," Kara states more forcefully, her eyes wide as she looked at him.

"I mean, like... I feel like I know them."

"Mmm-hmm."

"Because she's always there for people. You know, she's helping out. Saving those who need saving." Winn chuckles nervously.

"Yeah."

Winn smiles then notices James slamming his hand down on the stapler, "Uh, especially those who, um, have run out of staples."

Leah landed into Lord Labs when Kara flew in as well. Alex sighed in relief to see the two blonde females, "Captain Marvel. Supergirl. Thank God you're here."

"Not a problem." Leah glanced at Kara, suddenly remembering that she was supposed to be watching her little brother, "Plenty of time."

"This bomb is like a high-tech daisy cutter. If it blows, it'll produce an overpressure of 2,000 pounds per square inch."

"That'll level thirty blocks. You two need to get is clear of the city."

Leah glanced at Kara, grabbing hold of the bomb, both flew out.

Katie paced inside of the DEO, unable to do her training because of the bomb situation. Vasquez bit her lip, "She's nearing the ocean. Approaching Mach Two."

Katie shook her head, "She's not far enough."

"Kara's nearing behind."

"You two need to change bearing."

"Which way?"

"Up." Katie states, watching as the two red dots suddenly move up into the air, "Throw the bomb!"

"Not far enough yet."

"Leah throw Kara further up." Katie suddenly says.

"Got it."

"Throw it! Now!" Katie screams once she was for sure Kara was far enough away. She flinches when the explosion goes off.

Leah dove down after her cousin, catching her body and flying toward the DEO, "She was near the explosion."

"Bring her to the med bay."

Katie jogs over to them, "Are you okay?"

"Yeah, was just thrown a little by the recoil." Leah answers, she paused, "Carter."

"Carter? As in Miss Grant's-your brother?" Katie questions.

"Yes, Kara was supposed to..." Leah rubbed the back of her head, "I'm going to go to my mother's office and check up on him. Tell Kara that once she wakes up."

"Okay." Katie's hair flew around from the gust of wind created from Leah flying away.

Leah landed on the roof of Catco, running down the steps she quickly changed into her normal clothes and threw on her glasses. She stumbled into the office, only to see that Winn and Carter were playing video games. Winn laughed when he was shot down, turning to see her, "Hey, Leah."

Leah sighed in relief, sitting in the spot next to him, smiling at her brother, "Hey Carter."

"Hey, Leah." Carter smiled, carrying on the mission in the game while Winn was being reloaded.

Winn turned to her, noticing the soot on her face, he lifted his hand and began to rub it off, "Why are you so dirty?"

Leah giggled, "Long story." She lifted her hand to stop his from moving and just held it there, she leaned into it, smiling in content, when she heard her brother gag.

"That's disgusting."

"What? The nasty creature you're fighting on your game or you sister giving affection to a man?"

"Both."

Winn released a laugh, followed by Leah, "You two seem to be getting along."

"Yeah, all I had to do was say video game we hit it off perfectly. Besides he's a huge fan of Supergirl and Captain Marvel. He prefers Supergirl, but personally, I prefer Captain Marvel a little more."

"They're both really pretty, but Supergirl has been fighting crime longer than Captain Marvel," Carter states once he gets shot down and has to wait for the game to restart from the checkpoint.

"You're not wrong there." Leah pulled her legs up, leaning her head against Winn's shoulders, "Goodness I'm tired."

"Rough day?"

She whispered this to Winn so Carter wouldn't hear, "There was a bomb. I was next to the explosion, Kara's injuries are far worse than my bruises."

Winn turned his head down slightly, kissing the top of her head, knowing he couldn't really say anything without Carter accidently hearing so he chose to keep his mouth shut for this one. "Where's Kara now?"

"Uh..." Leah glanced at Carter, "Running some errands for James, you know, like that article of people needing to sleep after strenuous work."

Winn nods, "Oh okay." He moved his hand up to move her head into a better position, "How about you get some rest as well?"

"I'm not arguing with that."

♧~♧~♧~♧~♧

"Kara!"

Leah flinched awake by the sound of Winn's voice, rubbing her eyes when her cousin came rushing into the room.

"Carter, are you alright? I'm so sorry I was gone."

"We're good." Winn grins, Carter, waving his hand to Kara.

"Are you hungry for some real food? I'm gonna get some lunch."

Winn stood up, leaving Leah and Carter in the room.

"Are you dating him?"

"I guess so." Leah answers.

"Good, I like this one better than the last one you brought home. At least he gets along with me."

Leah groans remembering her ex, "Don't bring her up ever again."

"Noted." Carter mumbles, "You could go and be with him." Carter waves his hand, allowing Leah to get up and follow Winn.

♧~♧~♧~♧~♧

"Where is Carter?" Leah demands, grabbing hold of Winn, "You said he was with you?"

Winn looked around the terminal area, "He came here, we need to find him."

"I saw him get on the train!" Winn yells out. The couple run over to the entrance but was stopped, "I have to get on that train."

"Then let me see your tickets."

"You don't understand." Leah groans, "We need to get on that train! My brother got on."

"I'm sorry but we cannot let you on without a ticket."

The train begins to take off, Winn and Leah's expression's turning into those of worry. Leah grabbed hold of his arm, "You saw that man right?"

"Yeah." Winn looked at her, "I think this is a job for you know who."

Leah nods her head and rushes outside, while Winn dialed Kara. Leah was now dressed in her suit, and flew up into the sky, using her x-ray vision to search for Carter on the train, when Kara was suddenly at her side, "There's two bombs, one in the train and one at the plane station."

"Then why are you here?" Leah exclaims, "I've got it here."

"No, the actual bomber is on this train." Kara explains, "Your brother is on this train."

"I know."

"Alex is taking care of the bomb at the airport. Come on."

Leah and Kara land into the train, eyes trained on Carter. Maxwell laughed at the sight of the two, "I'm starting to think you've got a thing for me."

"Ethan Knox is on board." Leah states.

"No. That's impossible..."

"You have to stop this train," Kara says.

"I can't. It's automated."

"Something's wrong, isn't it?"

Leah knelt down to her brother's level, taking his shoulders, "There is a problem, but we're here to fix it. You look brave and strong, can you help me? Good. I need you and Mr. Lord to get all of these passengers to the very back of the train. Are you ready to be a hero?"

"Yes."

Leah squinted her eyes, finding Ethan at the very beginning of the train, "Found him, Supergirl."

"On it."

Leah, instead of helping Kara, began to help the people, putting them all at the back of the train, "Please, everyone, as fast as you can, you need to move."

"Leah, I need your help. I need to stop this train."

"I'm coming." Leah flew outside and saw Kara trying to get the train to stop on the tracks, so she landed beside her, putting all her muscle into the train, helping Kara force it to a halt. An explosion happened ahead of them, "Please tell me Ethan was not on board."

"I can't..."

♧~♧~♧~♧~♧

"Hey, would you hand me that Allen wrench?" Leah pulls the top of the bomb off, sitting back down beside Kara.

Katie nods, "That works too."

"Okay, that is weird. Hank said that this was a dud. A decoy to draw us away from the real bomb, but that is a kill switch used to disable it remotely. Why would you put a fail safe on a fake bomb?"

"Yeah, that's not the only thing that doesn't add up. Knox killing himself makes no sense."

"Well, yeah." Katie pulls herself off her seat to look at the bomb, "Crazy guy snaps, gets even crazier."

"Well, he didn't seem crazy, he seemed sad. He said he loved his daughter, he was doing it for her, but how do these bombings help a sick girl?" Leah glanced over at Kara.

"Who knows? Parents can go nuts when it comes to their kids."

Kara's eyes widened, "How do you think a parent would feel if their kid ended up on that train, by himself, with a bomb on it?"

"Carter!" Leah yells out, "Oh, Kara, I am so sorry."

"I'm so fired. I'm so fired!"
