《Life of SuperGirl》To Love or to Lose

"Kara Kent. Come to Metropolis or your cousin dies."
Then the screen went black. I stood my body tensed my eyes wide and complexion pale.
"He knows who you are....and he has Superman.." Wally said breaking the silence.
I closed my eyes and clenched my fists.
"Stupid! Stupid Clark!" I said.
I turned ready to fly but Dick grabbed my hand and pulled me back.
"You cant just go!" He said
"I have too! He'll die! Clark can't fight the kryptonite! I can!" I said.
"Fight the kryptonite?" Kaldur said.
"For a short amount of time. I have the strength to do that but...It's also a higher risk of dying." I said muttering the last part.
Dick heard of course and grabbed both my hands.
"No! I'm not letting you die! I-I can't.." Dick said.
I didn't care if the others were there. I kissed Dick and rested my forehead on his.
"I won't die. I promise. I'll come back. Me and Clark." I said
"We're coming to help you. The man never said you have to come alone. And we should hurry." Artemiz said smirking at me and Dick.
I nodded and they got into the ship.
"Kara?" Meagen said as I stood on the outside.
"I'm flying. Follow behind me and hide. Your back up." I said.
Everyone nodded but Dick and I stared at him until he nodded.
I hugged them all. Super tightly and kissed Dick.
"I love you..." I whispered to him.
"I love you too..." he whispered back.
I then stepped off the ship and flew upwards and flew out the hangar with the ship following behind me. We flew for a few minutes because I couldn't let the others lose me. Then Metropolis came into view. I heard screams of shock and I heard Clark yelling.

"Kara Stop!" Kaldur voice said in my ear.
"Why!? He's right there!" I said zooming down.
"Kara! Th-That's n-not Him! It a..." and then the com cut off.
I landed in the park and found a dome. The man and my cousin inside. I growled and stepped up to the dome.
"I'm here. Let him go!" I said.
"Come get him." The man. I walked into the dome and supersped to Clark. I touched his hand but my hand went right through.
"What the! You tricked me!" I yelled as the Superman hologram faded.
"Yup. And now Lex can have what he wants and I can have what I want." He laughed and then threw kryptonite at me. I dodged them and flew up and out of the dome. Then he started firing green beams at me while the public starts to panick. The Young Justice team showed up and got the others to safety.
"What!?" The man said as the others came.
I smirked and flew towards him and punched him.
"That's what happens! When you mess with me!" I said kicking him back.
"SuperGirl! Are you okay!?" Robin asked pulling me away from the man.
I nodded. "Get the humans to safety!" I yelled to the others and we started evacuating the area while Robin and I kept an eye on the man. The man punched Robin and kicked me back.
"Robin!" I yelled as he fell down groaning.
"Eat kryptonite SuperGirl!" The man cackled and fires beams at me. I avoided them all and flew up.
"You can save yourself but can you save him!" The man said and painted the gun at Robin who was just getting up.
He fired and I screamed and pushed Robin out of the way. I felt the impact of the blast and I was thrown back. I fell down weak. I felt pain. Everything was crying out in pain and I couldn't move.

"SUPERGIRL!" I heard everyone yell.
"Stay away from her!" I heard Dick yell as someone grabbed my collar. I saw the dome form and saw Robin's eyes grow with fear.
"NO!" He yelled banging on the dorm.
The man grabbed a knife and cut me under my eye and I grimaced.
"Heh. Guess your not so tough after all!" He spat.
I glared at him and used my strength. The amount I had left. I punched him but fell down weak. I felt another impact of kryptonite. And this time I screamed.
"SUPERGIRL!" A new voice yelled. I groaned and looked up to see a blurry figure. I could make out a red, yellow, and blue suit with a red cape. I tensed as I felt a sand pick me up. But I heard a comforting voice.
"LEX! Let her go!" My cousins Voice yelled.
I willed my body to stand and turned to see Lex Luthor gripping my hand with a syringe poked inside. I pulled the needle out and saw my vision blurr.
"I...I'm gonna take a quick..nap." I said and then fell backward. The last thing I heard was everyone yelling my name, but the last thing I saw was Lex Luthor smiling.
I was pale. He saw Kara with Luthor and went into rage.
"Get me and SuperGirl our Of here!" Lex said.
Villians came and grabbed us including Superman.
"NO!" I yelled and started running towards Luthor. He got into a van with Kara and smirked at me. Then the van took off. The Villians all looked down and then helped the heroes up.
"She's going to Cadmus." Killer Frost said.
"Why tell us?!" I growled.
"Because what Luthor is planning to do with SuperGirl..if he succeeds she'll be an unstoppable weapon of death and destruction." She said.
We nodded and took off.
Wally came to talk to me. I snapped at him.
I lost her. She promised.
I'm going to save her. Whatever the cost

The Programmer's Dungeon [Progression, LitRPG]
Vincent, a college student from Earth, has been transported to another world full of strange powers and fantastic monsters. But no one said that this new world would be easy… After escaping an assassination that accidentally befell him, he was forced to become a Dungeon Master. What will an average programmer student do when he finds out that he can code the dungeon? Vanquish those savages above with his tech and savviness — along with an army of golems? “Wait, this world isn’t even medieval?!” With all the questions piling up in his head, Vincent is set to uncover all these secrets! And… conquer the world, perhaps? The hard reboot of “The Programmer’s Dungeon.” It has an almost completely different plot, cast, and storyline, so expect tons of improvement from the old one. Disclaimer: This is a softcore LitRPG story; there are stats but no levels. Also, the LitRPG element isn’t the main focus of the story itself and is more of a support. I have enabled the reader’s suggestion, and therefore, you can correct any grammar mistakes and typos you find in the story. There will definitely be some that I miss. Cheers! The cover was made by Jack0fheart, so a shout-out for him. Releasing 3 chapters per week at 12.00 GMT on Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday with at least 2000+ words. "EeEEellllleeeeeelllllleeeeeeuuuuuuu!" I, too, yelled a battle cry at the top of my lungs. I had no idea what Simon had just spouted but from Camilla's giggling, I could guess that Simon thought that spouting nonsense was his way of getting out of the earlier predicament. "I forbid death upon this day," Camilla said. "What?" I answered a bit at a loss. "Ancient Latin," she replied smugly, "He said 'I forbid death upon this day'." I laughed aloud "Then he is gonna be really disappointed in everyone here," Camilla did not reply and instead took a deep breath. I did the same, zoning out everything in my surroundings. The environment became a world of electrical pulses traveling across several networks. I perceived the world through my lightning and sped my heartbeat to inhuman levels. Then I took a step forward, everyone followed in tandem. Camilla the first, and then the others. Then I took a second step, and this time everyone followed simultaneously. Third step… Fourth step… Fifth step… Then light jogging… Speeding up… Running … Running faster…. LiMB is a work of fiction inspired by webnovels such as "Re:Zero - Starting life in another world" and visual novels such as "Fate/Stay night" or "Sengoku Rance". There are also "ending routes", spinoffs or dead-ends that still need to be told. There is no recommended reading order, although a chapter in one path may shed light on another.
