"We just got back from school Bats. All ready with a mission?" Kara said.
"Yes. And you'll end up getting missions during school sometimes. But we'll try not to let that happen. Anyway. I need you to investigate a strange radiation." Bruce said.
"A radiation?" Wally said.
"Yes. It's emitting a lot of energy. And it has many different elements mixed together. So take the protective suits." Bruce said.
Kara took out a box with small round button like things. She took out one labeled SuperGirl and handed the others the box.
"So...anymore deets we should know?" Kara asked.
"The site of the radiation is an old Star Labs building. It was for experimenting technology with metals, but was shut down once villians attacked stealing the tech." Batman said.
"Okay. Thanks. We'll be right on it!" Kaldur said.
Batman nodded and clicked off. Kara took the button and placed it on the S of her suit. She clicked the button and a red, and blue suit with the classic SuperGirl symbol, and a helmet formed around her. The others did the same. Kara clicked a button on the side of her neck and the helmet disappeared.
"Let's go." Kaldur said in his suit.
The team all had their helmets and suits on. Supergirl and Ms. Martian flew above the others.
"Any strange readings?" Robin asked.
"This whole place is strange readings nerd!" Artemiz said shaking her head.
"Any OTHER weird readings? Something new?" Robin said rolling his eyes.
SuperGirl giggled and flew down to the middle of the site right outside a building. She used her X-ray vission to looking into the building. She spotted some containers on their sides and some machines.
"Wait what..." SuperGirl said.
"What's wrong?" Superboy said.

"I..I thought this site was abandoned..." she replied turning her head to her cousin.
"It is. Batman said the whole site was abandoned along with any items belonging to Star Labs. The Villians who had attacked the site were taken to Arkham." Robin said coming to stand on the other side of her.
"Oh...then someone's been here. I see machinery and containers in a room on the second floor." SuperGirl said.
She then flew inside with the others following.
Life signs detected. Initiating alarm
A robotic voice said. SuperGirl stopped and punched a system. No alarm sounded.
"Hurry up!" She hissed at the others.
SuperGirl supersped up the stairs and walked into a room. Glowing machines were making a noise and containers with labels of different elements were inside. SuperGirl walked in and went to the containers.
"Well...this isn't supposed to be here." Kid Flash's voice said.
The team had caught up and were exploring the room.
"Is this the only room with supplies SG?" He asked.
"Yup. I looked twice. This is the only room. Of and Robin can you try to - OH MY GOD!" SuperGirl yelled scaring the others.
"What is it?" Robin asked running up to her.
SuperGirl had a pale face and her blue eyes were wide in shock. She shook her head and bent near one of the containers. She then moved her hand using superspeed and dusted off all the containers.
"Lex Corp..." She said sadly.
"Wait...doesn't that mean..." Ms. Martian started.
"Lex Corp has access to kryptonite don't they?" Artemiz asked.
SuperGirl stood up and looked around the room. She flew up and picked up a huge container. She dusted it off and went pale.
Robin came beside her and read the label. He pulled SuperGirl away and narrowed his eyes.

"Yup. And there's the container for it." He spat.
"Brilliant. So this gas has elements that can kill all of us!" Ms. Martian said.
"Well, even if we we were immune to all of these, the amount of chemicals mixed...would be lethal." Aqualad said.
"Batman. The gas is elements from Lex Corp. including...you know what." SuperGirl Said into her coms.
"Clear the site. We're sending over a team to clean up the mess. Get out of there. Don't stop." Batman's voice came into the coms.
They all started towards the door but SuperGirl. She was staring at the container of kryptonite.
"SuperGirl?" Robin said walking up to her.
"Huh?" She said looking up at the boy.
He was slightly taller than her. Robin gripped her hand and squeezed it causing SuperGirl a face to blush.
"Don't worry. I-We won't let that drug touch you." He said calmly.
Robin ignored the fluttering feeling, and smiled as Supegirl calmed down and nodded.
"Mkay. Let's go. Thanks robin." SuperGirl said. They left the room and let go of their hands as they walked outside to the others.
"Get into the ship.." Aqualad said to them.
They nodded and ran inside. They started flying and took off.
"Superman to ship." Clark Kent's voice said.
"Hey cuz. We finished the mission. We're heading back to the cave." Kara said taking off her helmet.
"I'm glad that your okay. Bats told me about the..elements. And Conner, being have human, may give you an immunity to the crystal." Superman said.
SuperGirl opened her mouth to say something when a the whole Ship shook and started falling towards ground.

The Magic Man (Very Dead)
John was a fan of system apocalyspes, so he thought he knew what coming when he got caught up in one. He was wrong. This was an apocolypse in the original sense of the word, an unvieling. There were no ravenous hordes of monsters, no genocidal tutorials, and certainly no aliens from another dimension. Just humans. So John thought, "How can I exploit this?" This is my first story, and I am writing it as I go. Dont expect a regular update schedule or much long-term foreshadowing.
