《Supergirl》Chapter 17

Why was a crying? During the time I sat on the roof I persuaded myself I wasn't crying over her. I had told Bruce what I had been doing every night with Supergirl and he kicked me out for the night.
So I spent the night sitting on our roof top waiting to see if she'll come. She never did and then I started crying. I felt like an idiot sitting there crying.
It was Tuesday and I had to go to school and face another day of her avoiding me. When I got to school I was greeted by Johnny.
"Hey man you look terrible." he greeted.
"Wow thanks." I said sarcastically.
"Sorry." he said laughing lightly. "Is it about Chris?" He questioned raising his eyebrows.
"No!" I hissed pushing the doors to school open.
"Mhmm. For some reason I don't believe you."
"Ugh!" I growled as I came up to my locker. "How about we talk about you." I said trying to change the subject.
"My life isn't the greatest either. My stupid twin brother is coming to visit." he said groaning. Why does he hate his twin?
"What's so bad about your twin? I've met him once and he seems nice." I said raising my right eyebrow.
"He's like the favorite child. He goes to an athletic school and hour away from here. Whenever people ask about us my mom always gushes about him. Like I don't even exist." he answered shaking his head.
"How long is he staying?" I asked.
"Two weeks." he answered with another groan.
"Hey guys." Dillon greeted with a big smile.
"Why are you so happy?" I questioned.
"I had a date last night." he answered going into his locker which was beside mine.
"With who?" I pried.
"No one of your concern" he answered shrugging and walking off.
"Whatever." I mustered walking off to class. First I had math which Chris had too. I got into class just before the bell rang and sat in the first seat I saw. I look to see who I'm sitting beside and see Liz. I see Chris sitting in the first row texting someone.

"You like her don't you." Liz whispers with a knowing look on her face. I turned to look at Liz just as the teacher walked in.
I didn't answer until Liz nudged me.
"Maybe a little." I caved and she smirked. I tore of a piece of my notebook and wrote.
What about Dillon?
I slid it over to her and she read it. Her eyes went wide with surprise as she processes what I wrote. She started to scribble something down on it and handed it back to me.
What about him?
I tore another piece out and wrote.
289-656-8858
That's Dillion's number
I passed it back to her and she smirked putting it in her navy blue hoody pocket. The reason why I gave her his number is because I had a feeling Dillon was the other guy Chris liked. With him out of the way it would be a lot easier.
"Do you know the answer Mr.Grayson?" My math teacher asked me. I look around the classroom to see that all eyes were on me. My eyes land on Chris and she mouths "twenty-one."
"Twenty-one." I announce and people laugh around me. The teacher looks at me and sighs.
"Please pay better attention in class Mr.Grayson."
I tried to pay attention the best I could during the lecture, but I just couldn't stop staring at the back of Chris' head. The resemblance to Supergirl was remarkable. Same hair, same smile, and their voices sounded the same too. The bell rang signaling second period and everyone stood up to get out.
I got out of the class and heard my watch start beeping. I quickly slipped into a janitors closet.
"Yeah?" I say into my watch.
"There has been a kidnapping. I'll send you the address." Bruce said to me. He hung up and I got he address.
"Great a warehouse." I whisper to myself. I sneak out and see that no one is in the halls. I run outside and push a button on my watch which makes my motorcycle come to me. I ran into a telephone booth and changed. Wow Rick a telephone booth how original. My motorcycle comes up and I drive toward the warehouse. I get there and make a hologram come up of the building.

"Oh great your here." I hear someone muster. I look over to see Supergirl standing there.
"Well it's nice to see you too." I greet sarcastically making her scoff at me. "Come on we can through that window." I say getting back to the task at hand. I use a grapple hook and slowly ride up stopping at the window. I pulled a knife that was meant for cutting windows and cut a perfect circle.
"Oh great." I hear her say as I put the knife back. I look up to see that there were laser beams all around the room. These were different though they were green not red.
"Do you think you can get through them?" I ask her and she just looks at me like 'are you serious.'
I start doing flips and cartwheels to get through. I made it through and turned around to see her standing there in shock. "Are you coming?" I ask and she regains her composure. She starts to go through doing flips and I notice that she goes a little to high on the last one.
"Ahh!" She yells as a beam grazes her skin. It starts to bleed and she winces at the pain. "Don't worry it should be fine in a couple of minutes." All the sudden a yellow blur comes up beside us.
"Hey babe." Wally ( kid flash ) says as he slings his arm around her.
"Don't you have a girlfriend?" I here a deep voice say. I look to see Superboy walk up beside Wally. Supergirl winks at him and shakes his arm off. He just stands there like an idiot processing what just happened. We all started walking me holding up the hologram.
"He should be on this floor." I said as we came up to the fifth floor.
"How do you know it's a he?" Wally said wiggling his eyebrows.
"Check all the rooms." I told him and he nodded. Ten seconds later he came back.
"It's the second room." he said not even breathing heavy.
"Then why did you check the rest of the rooms?" Superboy hissed. Wally looked at him and his jaw dropped.
"That makes so much sense!" He said face palming. I shook my head and looked at Supergirl who was holding in laughter. We walked into the room to see a the one and only Lois Lane.
"Mo-Miss let me untie you." Super-girl said walking over to her. She finished untying the woman and a bunch of Joker's henchmen came into the room. We fought, each taking about three men. I had one more and punched him out. I hear someone gasp. I look over at Lois Lane and she staring straight at Supergirl. When I look at Supergirl I see why she gasped. There stood Joker and Supergirl with a knife in her back. Joker rips it out and she falls to her knees.
"Kryptonite really comes in handy." he said twirling the green bladed knife in his hands. Superboy takes a step towards him, but he just puts the knife to her head. "Anyone comes any closer I stick it in her head." he threatens and we all stop trying to think of something to do. "If any of you follow us she's dead." he finishes dragging her out.
"This is all my fault." Lois said crying.
"No it isn't." I said reassuringly trying to calm her down.
"Don't you understand? I WAS THE BAIT!" She screamed pacing back and forth.
"I've got her." Wally says and runs lighting speed and picks her up. What did she mean she's the bait? Lois Lane and Supergirl aren't related in any way?
We walk out side and looks a bit dark out. I look at my watch and it says 4:30. A car drives by us and we hear the screams of Supergirl.
