《Supergirl》Chapter 9

"Honey you have to wake up! Barry is taking you out for your birthday today." My mom yelled from downstairs. "You have 20 minutes!"
Oh frick, I better hurry. I get up from my bed and get dressed into leggings and a sweater because of my lack of time. I decided to wear the batman converse that Rick had gotten me. My dad wasn't home so he wouldn't see me. I just brushed out my hair and left it as it was. I didn't look that bad. Okay I looked like I just got out of bed, but who cares.
"Hey kid you ready?" I heard Barry yell from downstairs.
"Yup, I'm coming!" I called running downstairs. "Where to?" I asked grabbing my purse putting my phone inside.
"I was just gonna take you to the mall." he said smiling.
"Sure." I agreed walking out to his car.
We got to the three floor mall and shopped for like 4 hours. In that time he bought me 2 pairs of jeans 3 shirts and 1 sweater. He spoils me.
"You hungry?" He asked.
"Yeah, do you just want to eat at the food court?" I question motioning at the food court and he does a shrug/nod meaning yes.
We finally found a table at the food court, it was packed! I got Subway the best food ever and Barry got a pizza. That guy eats to much, although his fast metabolism doesn't help.
"So, how is it being Supergirl?" He asked winking.
"It's good, although this guy keeps getting in my way. His name is Robin, and he is THE MOST annoying person on the planet. When I first saw him I knew I wouldn't like him. It's like you can feel his pride radiating of him." I spit.

"Whoa, whoa, ok wow. Lets just change the subject." he says chuckling. "What about school?" He asked making me smile and blush at the same time.
"Well, there's this guy, and I think I might have a crush on him." I replied still smiling starting to think about Rick.
"And what is his name?" Barry questioned wiggling his eyebrows at me obviously finding me amusing.
"His name is Richard Grayson." I said simply starting to eat my food again. I look over at Barry to see what he's doing, but he is just staring at me in shock.
"D-does your dad know?" He asked wanting an answer badly.
"Ummm... no." I answered surprised at the question.
"Well, you better finish quick because we gotta get you home." he said getting up to throw out his wrappers and cup. I ate the rest of my food quickly and left with Barry.

B A R R Y
She likes Richard Grayson AKA Robin! Of course she does. She likes the guy she hates! She is so clueless. I bet Rick is just as clueless, if he feels the same way that is.
"Hey, are you ok?" Chris asked me while we're driving home.
"Uh, yeah, I'm fine." I answered smiling at her.
I drop her home and decide I should go visit Rick. We're close I guess, but not as close as I'm with Chris. I drive to Wayne Manor and park on the massive driveway. I ring the doorbell and Alfred answers.
"Ah, master Barry-"
"Just Barry." I interrupted wanting to get to the point.
"Right Barry... what can I do for you?" Alfred corrected showing absolutely no emotion.
"Is Rick there?" I asked trying to peek in the mansion.

"No, master Rick is... out." he answered hesitantly.
"Oh, thank you." I said smiling and turning around. The only other place I could think of was Mount Justice. I quickly changed into my flash suit which wasn't to hard and zeta'd to Mount Justice. When I got there I saw Robin and Kid Flash. Wally ( kid flash ) was eating as always and Rick seemed to be deep in thought.
"Hey guys." I greeted running over to them and stealing one of Wally's cookies he was eating.
"Heeey!" Wally whined as I steal his cookie.
"Hi." Rick greeted simply, paying little attention to me.
"Can I talk to you alone?" I asked nudging Rick.
"Uhhh sure." he replied looking at Wally.
"I get it. I get it." Wally said zooming away. I sit down beside Rick and inhale.
"So I've heard you've had some trouble with a girl." I said lifting my eyebrows waiting for a response.
"Yeah.... she's so annoying I hate her. Although she is pretty hot." he replied mumbling the last part. "Wait, you're talking about the Supergirl right?"
"Yeah we've all gone through it. How about school anything new?" I asked trying to change the subject.
"Not really?" He answered hesitantly. This kid is hard to work with.
"Met anyone?" I questioned looking around trying to act like I'm just trying to make small talk.
"Yeah...a girl. She's new, her name is Crystal. Although I haven't figured out her last name." he said giving a small smile at the thought.
"That's good......but I better go." I said running out. Wow smooth Barry. Smooth. So they both sorta like/hate each other. Wow I wonder if they're ever gonna find out?

C H R I S
I got home and just laid down on the couch and closed my eyes thinking about what had happened between my dad and Batman
That day there had been a murder at Gotham. Superman had questioned Batman on the murder and began to notice his answers didn't add up. Then Superman began to think Batman maybe had committed the murder. The man who was murdered had caused a lot of trouble for Batman.
When Superman accused Batman, Batman left the Justice League for awhile feeling like he wasn't trusted.
Lex Luther used this time and asked Batman if he would tell him Superman's secret identity. In return Lex Luther would never touch Gotham again. Stupid bargain, I know.
Batman decided he wouldn't tell Luther Superman's identity, but in his anger he let it slip that Superman was a reporter. When Superman heard about this he moved to Gotham where he was safe and where he had been given a job opportunity. Superman never trusted Batman again.
That is why we moved and Batman is jerk. It also fuels my hate for this Robin guy and I will never ever be nice to him for what his "friend" Batman did to my father!

The Dungeon Hive
One thing I noticed about most dungeon stories is that most races mistakenly believe that dungeons have a hive-mind and I go, “That make sense.” Considering the various powers and how big dungeons can get, wouldn’t it make more sense for them to have a hive-mind? So this is it; my take of the world’s first dungeon and the hive that controls it. Watch as it stumbles, fall, survive, strive and…procreate? Watch as it changed the world of Ioplon…for better and for worse. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- For edited version of the story, the full trilogy (Book_1: Fantasy Begins, Book_2: Dungeon Flames, Book_3: Spread of the Dungeons) are now available on Amazon. Please take a look, and leave a rating. Thanks

Dominion Expansion (a 4X LitRPG)
Clay is one of the world's top players of 4X games, a genre where the goal is to eXplore, eXpand, eXploit, and eXterminate. He's also one of the only players in the world to so stubbornly stick to the one city strategy, a favorite tactic of his that involves only ever using a single city or planet depending on the game's setting. All that matters to him is winning with his favorite strategy, but earning the respect of his fellow players for taking a sub-optimal strategy to its highest level has always been a nice bonus. And now it is because of his skill and entertaining determination that he has been chosen to represent a higher realm in a strategy game where the fate of Earth and dozens of other worlds are at stake. To the victor goes the spoils, and the spoils include entire worlds and billions of lives. That's how he ends up representing the ascended realm of Hell in a grand "game" between an entire pantheon of godly beings and other higher powers. But while it may just be a game to those overseeing it, it is a genuine war for survival to those participating in it where billions of real lives will go to the victor of whoever wins, and many will die before the game is over. Quick Author's Notes: System inspired by Civilization, Endless Legend, Stellaris, and Crusader Kings 2. Combat mechanics inspired by the Total War series. Slow-paced with many long-term plans. Protagonist has a personality heavily inspired by Ron Swanson. Know who that is and love him? You should like Clay. Know who Ron Swanson is and hate him? You'll probably hate Clay. Planning on writing every single day (turn). Days with important things happening will have the system/game mechanics be the priority of the chapter. Days where there isn't really anything important happening will be more slice-of-life and focused on character interactions. Designed a dice-based randomized map generator to create the world as the story goes on, so I don't even know myself exactly what's going to happen as a lot is dependent on world generation. Tech tree with hundreds of technologies already designed. There is a "harem," but it's not the main focus, the girls won't be cardboard cutouts, and I'm not going to completely forget about any previous women in the relationship whenever a new one comes along. One last thing. The "game" starts off with primitive technology level. The current plan is for the "endgame" tech level to be equivilent to WW2-era technology. After that and war just gets boring until you end up in space. Cover is temporary and made from royalty-free stock images while waiting for the real cover's commission to finish.
