《Supergirl》Chapter 1

My eyes shot open and my hand slammed down on my alarm.

"Ugh!"

Just in case you didn't notice I'm not a morning person.

I look over at my alarm, which was now broken into a million, tiny, inconvenient pieces.

"Not again!" I whined sitting up and collecting all the pieces. After I dumped the pieces into the garbage, I sat on my bed with a sigh. What a way to wake up in the morning.

Being the daughter of Superman has its pros and cons. The main pros are my powers like flight, strength, speed, heat vision, but sadly x-ray vision isn't one of them. That's a con. Every time I try to use it I get a terrible head ache for hours on end that I- the girl of steel- can't even handle.

I slowly got out of my accepting bed and decided on what to wear today. In this new school I was now going to, I usually had to wear my uniform, but for the first week of school they let you dress casual 'cause some uniforms hadn't come in yet.

I finally decide on an outfit that's good for Gotham's gloomy weather. Before I leave I quickly grab my Flash converse, which my Uncle Barry had given me. My uncle wasn't your everyday Uncle. Well, for starters, he is the Flash. I met Flash when I was 12 years old and the Justice League was in its prime.

Flash had run to our house to look for my dad- Superman-and he found me. You might think that would be normal and expected. What parent wouldn't keep their kid at their house.

You see, my dad hasn't told the Justice League about me. He didn't want to leave the group. Oh gosh, this is starting to sound like a band cliché. That day Flash found out about me, but he had to keep it a secret. You can only imagine how hard it was for him to keep his fast mouth shut.

Only him and Wonder Woman, who by the way is so nice, know who I am.

The rest of the Justice League as in Aqua Man, Shazam, Green Lantern, J'onn Jonzz, and Batman- who I heard is a jerk -have no idea that I exist.

I straightened my black hair cause I wanted to look presentable for the first day of school and stared at myself in the mirror for longer than necessary.

"Crystal! Your gonna be late." My dad called from downstairs.

"Coming." I replied doing the finishing touches of my outfit. I threw my glasses on and ran down the stairs.

"Your mother wants to drive you." he said when I got downstairs.

"Alright, alright I'm ready." my mom- Lois Lane- said running down the stairs in her usual blazer and mini skirt. "Let's go, kiddo." she said as she walked by me.

We get in her car and start driving to school, which thankfully didn't take long.

"Who would want to name a city Gotham? It just sounds... dark." my mom questioned. I start to laugh. Dark like its old vigilante- how suiting.

"Yeah, I did like Metropolis better, but of course we just had to move." I said bitterly looking out the window.

"I know you hate it, but we had to. Are you really gonna make me explain this again? Lex almost killed your father-"

"No Mom, I've heard it enough." I interrupted sighing.

"Alright now get in the there and show those people the sass I know you have!" my mom called before driving away. She always makes me laugh, yet still manages to make me cringe at the same time. I love my mom.

I went through the doors to about the most crowded hallway I had ever seen. People were everywhere. One guy bumped me knocking my fake glasses off which my dad made me wear for my identity. I had no idea why, not like I was a superhero.

I quickly go to the school office and get the information and I'm met by a blonde secretary.

"Your books and class information are in your locker." She muttered not looking up from her PC.

"Where's my-"

"Your locker number is four-two-six. You exit this office and take two right turns. It should be down that hall. Have a nice day."

"Uh, thanks. I guess." I said leaving the too clean office.

I finally get to my locker #426 and started getting my books out for English. All the sudden I look to my right to see a group of guys. One of them I couldn't take my eyes off of. Disheveled, shaggy, black hair, tall and was the hottest guy I had ever seen. Well...after Dylan O'Brien. He looked my way, but I quickly turned toward my locker again. When I looked back they were all were walking towards me. Holy Zeus he's coming my way, what would Wonder Woman do?

Oh no. Oh no. Oh no. Just don't look at them. Ignore. Ignore. Ignore.

"You know if you wanted to check me out you could've just asked." He stated cockily, pushing back his black, ebony hair and I smiled. Abort.

"I'm sorry to be so inconsiderate." I said, but to the guy's surprise I didn't look at him. Looking towards one of his other friends with blonde hair I said, "I'm sorry I forgot to ask, I'll be sure to remember next time." This made the blonde smile at his friends and shrug innocently, but we all knew I had given him a huge ego boost.

I was about to walk away when the guy with the black hair grabbed my wrist surprisingly. Abort!

"What's your name?" He asked and I turned back around.

"Crystal, but please call me Chris. And yours?"

"Richard Grayson." He answers with a wink to top it off.
