She sat in his arms looking at the television hanging on the wall she was looking at waiting for him to say anything but he spoke nothing just kept standing their hiding his face in her neck.

"Ji, you okay right?", she asked rubbing his back not wanting him to feel weak at all. She agrees that he had been hiding many things from her hurting her but it was all unintentional and she couldn't deny the fact that she started loving this man so badly that now she can't imagine her life without him.

"Tara", he called making her hum massaging his scalp softly.

"I want to let out everything today", he spoke pulling away making her stare at his gloomy face making her innocent heart break into pieces. She caressed his jaw making him stare at her. His eyes didn't look devilish like every time, they just looked sad which didn't suit him at all. She hated seeing him like this. She was feeling like she herself can't breath at this point.

"You don't have to", she spoke looking at his face but he just shook his head knowing that he was fooling her if he is not sharing his past with her, the reason why he is like this today. It would be like betraying her and would create more problems in his future life, the life he wanted to start with her.

"I was not like this from starting. I swear. I was carefree as fell. I loved to live my life", he spoke holding her hands in his fearing that she would withdraw from his touch once she knows the truth. The ugly truth of his life and identity.

"Please calm down", Tara softly asked him feeling his body shivering.

"Take a deep breath. I am here only", she told him but he didn't look in her eyes. He just couldn't do so. He didn't had that much courage. He just took a deep breath before continuing.

"Mrs. Khurana wasn't always like she became afterwards. She was the best mother anyone could have in her life. She was loving, caring, strict yet the best", he spoke as his voice shook slightly.

"Than Roshni Ma came into the family, things were perfect. Aadya Bua also got married soon after it and things started changing. Mrs. Khurana's family was interfering too much in our family matters. They would come almost everyday and tell Badi Ma(Aaradhana Khurana, his grandmother) that she is not treating their daughter the way they treat Roshni Ma but Mrs. Khurana never said anything. She was still wearing the mask of good daughter-in-law of Khurana family when we got to know that Roshni Ma was pregnant", he spoke before taking a deep breath making Tara rub her thumb on the back of his palm. He nodded his head as if telling himself to go on.

"I was 5 something that time and the equations at Khurana Mansion started. One day, I was playing with Bade Papa(Rehan Khurana, his grandfather) in the living room when Mrs. Khurana's mother came to the mansion. She was screaming at Badi Ma calling her unfair", he told remembering that day.

"I can't believe Aaradhana that you could be this unfair", Mrs. Maheshwari said more like taunted Aaradhana who couldn't understand her words or why was she speaking like this with her.(Honestly I don't remember her name or if I gave her a name or not)

"I don't remember I did something unfair", she asked confused looking at her husband who was looking at the other woman with narrowed eyes not liking the way how she was speaking with his wife.

"I would appreciate if your tone would be softer", he spoke sternly making the other woman look at him. No matter how old Rehan Khurana could go but still he had the power to make people scared from his one look and the woman in front of him wasn't different. Rehan Khurana can show you the hell if you trouble his family and his wife was definitely somebody he treasured close to his heart.

"You all are being unfair to my daughter", She shouted looking at Aaradhana who flinched at her words till this point Shraddha and Roshni came downstairs who were in Roshni's room searching name for the upcoming babies.

"Mumma, what are you doing?", Shraddha asked as her mother came close to her pulling her away from Roshni who frowned herself not understanding what was going on.

Her mother cupped her face making her look at her with confusion before kissing her forehead.

"You all have had a soft heart for this girl even when she came up from such a weak family background", she spoke looking at Rehan and Aaradhana who were looking back at her only. Roshni didn't really understand what was going. She just realized this woman was here to humiliate her because of her family standards.

"And what does background have to do with place in heart", Rehan asked her coldly.

"I would love to talk to a woman", She spoke looking at Aaradhana.

"Or is she so scared to speak to me", she further taunted again which was the last stray for Aaradhana who stared at her with anger this time.

"Don't talk to me that way. First tell me what is wrong. You are just chanting about something wrong happening to our daughter-in-law. Why not just be clear?", Aaradhana asked this time coming in front.

"I am seeing you from so long. You only give importance to this girl who I don't even know comes from which family", She further spoke pointing at Roshni who had teary eyes this time.

"She is my wife mind that before saying another thing", They heard a chilly voice which was enough for her face to loose all the colour. She got to know that Anav went out for a business trip than how come he was here.

He stormed inside the mansion before standing beside his wife who stared at him with teary eyes. He immediately wiped her tears before throwing daggers at the woman who dared to hurt his wife.

"Why don't you just get to the point? I know you are here for something ask and get lost", Anav spitted out with anger making Shraddha stare at him with parted lips at how rude he was with her mother.

"I was going to ask the same thing", Rehan spoke glaring at the woman.

"You know too well, right", she spoke making the two alpha males staring at her daring her to deny.

"Fine, I am here to ask for my daughter's right", She spoke making everybody frown.

"I know you all have been unfair to my daughter already and now that this poor girl is pregnant, you would totally forget her", she spoke making Roshni's hold tighten around Anav's elbow. Her hand immediately moved to touch her tummy in a protective manner.

"Spit it out already", Anav spoke fisting his hands. He was silent this long just because she was Shraddha's mother otherwise he would've showed her the result of hurting his wife.

"Shraddha already told me that she is pregnant with twins", She spoke making Roshni stare at Shraddha this time not liking the way she was sharing this private thing with somebody who hates her so much.

"So... I want the whole Khurana empire should be named under her", she spoke at once making Anav stare at him like she was stupid or was going to loose her mind.

"And why would we do that", Anav asked as if she was joking.

"Because she deserve it. She gave the Khurana's their first heir so it's her right", she spoke making everybody stare at her like she really grew horn this time.

"It doesn't even make a sense. Is whatever you are saying reaching to your head or your nerves are blocked", Rehan asked her.

"Mumma", Arjun whispered holding Shraddha's legs not used to this much shouting.

"Than I want Roshni to give her older twin to Shraddha. Giving to heirs to the family, this girl would definitely try to dominate", She was saying when Roshni shouted.

"No", she screamed loudly making her flinch at ones.

"I won't give my baby to anyone", she spoke looking at Anav with teary eyes.

"Consider me, selfish but I won't give a part of my heart to anyone. They are mine. I don't want anything from the family's wealth", Roshni spoke which was exactly what the woman wanted who had a winning smirk on her face this time. This was the last way for the Maheshwari family to get back their glory making Shraddha the sole owner of Khurana group.

"I am not going to do any such thing", Rehan spoke at once.

"After that Mrs. Maheshwari told Mrs. Khurana how she was treated unequal and how it is going to get worse with Roshni Ma giving birth to twins so she should have another baby but maybe the greed didn't let her to conceive and she had miscarriage every time she conceived", he spoke but Tara didn't understand how this was a reason between the difference between Arjun and his mother.

"At last, she took Mrs. Khurana to some astrologer and did few rituals I was there with her that time. The whole room was dark and the man was chanting repeated chants. It was scary", he spoke softly as if he was living the moment.

"I told her I was scared at the same time, the man told her that I was the reason for not having kids. I didn't have the lines of a sibling on my forehead like seriously. I want to laugh at this moment thinking about all this and that woman you think so highly about believed it. It was freaking raining when she put me out of the house because she was blind in having another baby killing the one she already had. Her heart didn't soften for a moment when I called for her", He completed laughing at the end. She could feel the pain leaking out of his eyes in form of tears.

"Thank god, Papa came their on time otherwise I don't think I would've made it that time", he said making her hold tighten around his wrist. He shook his head at her care.

"That lady didn't even pick up her call when Roshni Ma was calling her. I was burning with fever that time. Doctors said that it was difficult for me to survive", He spoke smiling at the memory. I remember how Ma was crying the way Mrs. Khurana should've.

"That woman was heavily pregnant, Tara. Eight months pregnant is not a small thing and on top of that you are awake whole night. Badi Ma sat beside my bed side whole night changing the wet cloth on my head. It was Papa, Bade Papa, Daddy who were speaking to the doctor. That woman left me when I was dying", He completed as Tara wiped his tears.

"After three months, that woman came back claiming how much she loves me. Than she started saying that Ma stole me from her because she was greedy for the family business", he said shaking his head in anger.

"I can't believe that she is for real. According to her mother, I was the bad luck in her life. She was cursed to have a son like me who wasn't loyal to his own mother. The mother who left me to die. She even said that I should've died that night than maybe her daughter could've been blessed with a better child", he thought shaking his head.

"May be I shouldn't have survived actually", he spoke making her shake her head pulling him in a tight hug as tears escaped her own eyes.

"I don't want to hear these words again from your mouth. I don't know about anyone else but I can't imagine a life without you. I couldn't even live five days calmly without you. Please don't repeat these words again. I beg you", she begged feeling her own breath stopping at his words.

"Don't love me this much, baby. Because if you even stopped loving me, this heart will stop and that would be the end of your Arjun", he spoke at once making her pull away.

"That day won't ever come. Not only my heart but my body and my soul only belongs to you", she spoke sealing her promise placing her lips on his.

'Good because if you stopped that won't be good for both of us', his soul spoke and he couldn't agreed more to it as he kissed her back letting his emotions known to her. His hands moved to wrap around her waist pulling her more close to him.
