She opened the door of his cabin getting inside while his secretary shouted at her to stop. He looked up from his table at the angry woman standing in front of him.
"Sir, I tried to stop her", his secretary said scared of his reaction.
"Ms. Purohit, You can leave", he spoke straight away showing her the door looking directly at the woman in front of him. He put his pen on the table before putting his leg on the table leaning back on his chair.
"What do you want?", he questioned looking at her arrogantly. She glared at his face. She walked closer to the table holding the top of a chair looking directly at him.
"Who are you to send a proposal to my place?", She asked him angrily.
He smirked looked at her face before picking up the paperweight playing with it.
"Your neighbors saw you resting peacefully in my arms. What they must have thought about you? It was your parents who were worried about it not me. Get full information about something before opening your mouth", he told her simply mocking her humiliating her side by side.
"I am not marrying you", she stated helplessness in her eyes.
"I didn't know you had a boyfriend as well", he told her smirking at her face.
"Who told you that rubbish?", she asked him seething angrily. He put his leg down on the floor before standing up pulling his blazer together taking long steps towards her.
He moved closer to her till the point she was touching the table. His face was mere centimeters away from her as she tried to move back as much as possible.
"If you are saying no to a businessman, it surely means you are so much in love", he concluded trying to humiliate her by showing his money.
"I am not saying no to a businessman, I am saying no to a murderer", she stated making him look at her with an evil smirk clear on his face.
"And what do you think you can buy me using your money? I don't think you can ever do that. I don't consider it necessary to have a male in my life so getting married or not is the same thing for me. I am independent and I don't care what the world thinks about me. What is important right now is that I don't want anything to do with you. You are the only man I can hate in my whole life and don't you ever show off your money in front of me. I am not some gold digger who would do whatever you want just for the sake of money", she started pushing him away.
His smirk grew wider as he held his wrist pushing her on the table this time leaning on top of her making her gulp.
"Chiya Gahlawat, Agastya Aulakh is not habitual of losing. If I want you I will get it and don't you even for a second dare to think that it's because of your beauty or something because trust me I have seen better than you. I am a businessman and I know very well how to win a deal and you are no more than a deal for me and I would win you one way or other. I don't think it is important for me to tell you my gain from this deal because you will soon know everything about it", he told her slapping her two-finger softly on her cheek trying to scare her a little.

"You are my property since the moment I saw you and I will do my level best to acquire you as soon as I can", he stated making her stare at him with hatred.
"Don't start now about me getting any girl in the world. Because I know that already", he said winking at her still having the smirk on his lips.
"I would gain the most valuable thing from this marriage and I wouldn't let this chance go away from my hand so just be my pawn in this game and enjoy the luxury", he told her. She pushed her hands away.
"If this is a game for you, I won't lose easily as well", she dared him.
"Well sweetheart, you've already lost the game. Your family already said yes after all who would say no to a handsome, rich, gentleman like me", he boasted pulling back a little.
"You think after marrying me you wouldn't have any problem in your life", she questioned.
"Oh darling, in that case, you will bring problems in your life. By the way, this is my game. The players are also mine so there is no chance of anybody else winning when I myself am the player and umpire of this game", he told her taking steps back. He dusted his blazer as if there was a lot of dust on it.
"Now Ms. Gahlawat soon to be Aulakh can you get out. You are having a lot of free time questioning people about god damn anything but I am a busy man, I don't like to waste my time on worthless people", he told her mocking her again before turning on his steps moving out of his cabin to attend his next meeting.
Chiya held the chair tightly before sitting on it with a thud as she remembered his words again. He tried every single way to humiliate her and it didn't even seem like he was getting affected by saying so vulgar things to her like it is something he enjoy.
"After all, he is a murderer what can I expect from him", she mumbled as she felt tears prickling in her eyes.
"No, Chiya you won't cry over him. He doesn't deserve it", she tried to tell herself before leaving the cabin as well.
"What are you thinking?", Aaina asked her elder sister who was sitting on the swing swinging slowly feeling the breeze pushing her hair back which was falling out of her bun casting her face making it look more beautiful.
"Aaina, you go home", Samrat spoke coming into the park. Aaina was about to say something but she knew she didn't have a space to speak here so she left.
Samrat was Chiya's maternal uncle's son who was 7 years older than her while Aaina was her paternal aunt's daughter who was 9 years younger than her.
"What are you thinking, Laddu?", Samrat asked giving a light push to the swing.
"I don't know actually", she responded softly.
"You are thinking something and you don't know what it is about", he asked making her hum.
"Agastya is here with his mother", he spoke suddenly making her stiff.
"Why are you telling me this?", she asked him not wanting to talk about him.
"Because he is here to fix the date for your marriage", he told her but she chose to be silent.
"You know you can share anything with me", he spoke further. She nodded and was about to open her mouth when she felt the air getting thicker which made her look around when her eyes fall on him.

"Will you please excuse us", Agastya stated with his right hand in his pocket looking at Samrat.
"Sure", Samrat spoke looking at Chiya who wasn't looking at Agastya. She put her concentration on enjoying her swing. Samrat left soon which made Agastya look at Chiya. He held the swing stopping it from moving.
"Now darling, I don't like when I don't get the required attention", he spoke but she didn't look at him.
"I don't care", she told him looking blankly in space.
He laughed humorlessly hearing her words soon his expression changed into something dangerous as he held her chin harshly making her look up at him.
"Ms. Gahlawat don't play with my patience. I am not a patient person", he spoke looking coldly at her. She tried to move her face out of her grip but it was too tight.
"I first thought you might have some mental illness with the way you kill people but now I am sure you are crazy. You only know how to use people and throw them when they are not useful to you anymore. I don't even know how I became a part of your game but keep this thing in your mind Mr. Aulakh, I would be a tough nut to break", she spoke glaring at him making him laugh dangerously again.
"Even a tough nut gets broken, when we hit it with a hard stone so don't give me that example. I know very well how to break you apart. I don't want to harm your innocent mind with my ideas to break you", he said tracing her face with his finger making her shiver.
"Don't touch me", she spoke with disgust.
"So sad. Who will stop me from touching you after marriage?", he mocked making her slap his hands away glaring daggers at him.
"Just because you tied a stupid cloth on my family's eyes of how great you are, it doesn't mean you will dance on my head", she told him angrily.
"Then why don't you tell them about my reality", he told her harassing her further.
"Because I am scared of a human who is a reincarnation of a devil who might hurt my family", she told him standing up from her place.
"What a pity excuse of human are you?", he made a tsk sound looking at her face.
"You yourself have a sister have some shame", she spoke with hatred clear in her eyes. She shook her head looking at his face before walking away. A gust of wind passed them which made the sand enter her eyes while her dupatta covered his face.
She covered her face with her hands to get rid of the sand as she moved out.
Her dupatta moved away from his face but he could still feel the soft cotton fabric on his face.
"I have a sister that's why I am marrying you", he breathed out turning to look at the way she left his facial expression hardened.
"Chiya Gahlawat, I will make sure you see the hell with this marriage. I feel sorry for you to suffer even when you have been good your whole life but kids have to suffer their parent's deeds. I know you can't even hurt a fly but that doesn't mean I would be soft on you. I would be the decision-maker in your life. From today, I promise you the worst time of your life with me", he told her before moving out of the park as well to take his mother home.
"I hate you Agastya Aulakh. I have never seen such a harsh human being in my whole life. I curse the time when I first saw you and since that time, you entered into my life like a curse burning all my happiness with your cruelty. I won't forgive you for the way you played with my life", she whispered in a broken voice.
"Veer, what do you think about this?", his mother asked her showing him a gold chain with a few black beads and an expensive diamond pendant.(Veer is Agastya's nickname)
"What is this?", he asked looking at it puzzled.
"I chose this as the nuptial chain for Chiya. I asked her to chose whatever she wants but she wanted me to choose everything for her. I didn't know I could find a girl like her for you. I am so happy for you", she said with a dreamy look.
"What do you find so good in her?", he asked ignoring her words though they made him feel a little guilty that his mother knew nothing about his plan.
"Let me think", she spoke sitting on the bed before smiling.
"She is everything I wanted in the girl for you. She is intelligent, kind, loving, traditional yet modern, caring", she spoke with a small smile.
"Don't you think you are saying these things too early", he asked her keeping his file away.
"My hair didn't get white due to sunlight. I know a lot of things, Veer. I just want you to promise me something. Would you do that?", she asked him as he sat on his knees holding her hand.
"Have I ever denied you anything?", he asked making her smile cupping his face.
"Veer, that girl is too innocent for the world. I saw the worry in her mother's eyes for her daughter. And the more I know about Chiya, I realized that this girl would endure anything but will not leave your side once she ties the knot with you. I want you to never hurt, never cheat on her. She won't be able to survive that", she told him.
"I don't want to bring her as the daughter-in-law of this house. I want her to be my daughter just like Dhriti and I want you to respect her if not love", She told him. He continued looking at her face not knowing what to answer. She smiled patting his cheek lightly.
"I know this is all new for you and I also know that my Veer would never disappoint me. He is the best son, best brother and he will prove to be the best husband as well", she told him before walking out of the room not before leaving the nuptial chain on the bed.
His eyes fall on the nuptial chain as he picked it up.
"I want you to feel suffocated by this chain but what Ma said scares me a little. I never thought about it but would you be able to survive my torture", he wondered looking at the chain intently still sitting on his knees.
