She was literally traumatized by his face only from that moment only. She never thought somebody could behave like this with her. She thought he was just joking when he said he was going to kidnap her but he did it at last.

She had a fever for a few days after that where he would regularly visit her but she was too scared to even look in his direction. He would continue being silent holding her hands for the time he stays there. She was thankful that he was silent otherwise she was not having anything to speak as well. All she could feel at that point would be his hands providing coldness to her warm ones.

She was not ready for intimate touches like kisses, hugs not at this moment. She never felt comfortable with males except for the ones present in her family and her best friends.

Her brother dropped her at her college today and was going to pick her as well because of the weakness in her body. Her Bhabhi packed a proper lunch for her. Sometimes she felt like she got another mother in the face of her Bhabhi.

She walked out of the college with a blank yet tired face. She was going to call her brother when a car stopped in front of her looking at how expensive it is, a shiver ran down her spine.

She tried to walk past it when the door opened and the person she is most scared of appeared in front of her. She blinked a few times as her breathing increased.

He removed his shades before coming near her.

"Please don't", she pleaded looking down.

"I just wanna talk", he said politely but she was too scared to believe after what happened last time.

"My brother is coming to pick me up. It won't look good if he finds us together", she spoke in a mere whisper.

"Tara, I asked him already. I am going to drop you today", he told her making her gulp.

"I'll take a cab", she said walking away as fast as she can. He breathed deeply before punching on the bonnet of the car resulting in a loud sound making her jump.

"I said get inside the car", he told her angrily as she fisted her hands before turning back and getting inside the car scared of his anger. He took a deep breath before looking at the sky and pushed his heavy curly hair back which was falling on his forehead.

He got inside before starting the engine.

She looked out clutching her bag tightly when she found him turning the car in an unknown way.

"Where are we going?", she asked him. Her fear is evident in her voice.

"Tara, you don't have to be scared", he tried to make her understand as she looked around trying to find something familiar on the way but came up with none.

"You were dropping me home then where are we going", she asked him.

He stopped the car on the side holding her shoulder making her look in his eyes.

"Baby girl, calm down. I don't want to scare you. Believe me", he told her as she blinked before looking around.

"Do you trust me?", he asked to calm his heart.

"You took me to that scary place last time", she whispered with teary eyes.

"Shh... Don't cry. I just want to talk to you", he told her as she looked at him for a moment trying to analyze if he was lying or not.

After thinking for a while, she nodded her head as he smiled patting her cheek lightly making her uncomfortable but she tried to not show it on her face.

He got out of the car before coming to her side opening her side of the door offering his hand to her. She looked at his hand before staring at her shivery hands. She kept her hands in his offered ones still shivering a little.

"Keep your bag inside only", he said seeing her holding her bag. She nodded putting it back as he locked the car. He held her hands in a tight yet warm and comforting grip before walking her to the nearby lake he discovered a few years ago. It was deserted because of all the trees surrounding it.

He looked down at his wife to find her looking around at the plants with awe.

He took her to the beautiful setting making her gasp. It wasn't something grand but she never felt this special in her whole life. It was a little cold around so the fire was the best option with the sitting place having a view of so beautiful scenery.

Her hands unconsciously tightened around his as he looked at her. She continued looking at the setting as he pulled her lightly to move ahead and take her seat.

He left her hand obviously missing the warmth their hands were emitting. The same happened with her as she rubbed her hands together to feel warm. He pulled back the chair and motioned her to have a seat. She pressed her lips together being nervous as she took her seat.

He sat in his place looking at her with his predatory eyes as she looked at the table enjoying the warmth emitted by the small bonfire.

"I didn't mean to behave that way that day", he accepted in his usual sharp voice making her fist her hands feeling goosebumps on her body like usual when she heard his voice.

"I just don't know how to control myself", he admitted as she looked at him only to find his eyes on her making her look at his hand to show her attention towards him.

"Are you going to say something?", he asked finding her silent for so long.

"I just don't like it when you speak so much with everyone around you except me. I feel so useless at that point and anger takes over me. I can't take your ignorance", he said as a small smile covered her lips. The ice around his heart melted at the moment when he found her smiling at his words. He felt enchanted by her smile only.

"I can't behave in the same way with you as I behave with others", she told him in a small voice making him come out of his trance.

"Why not?", he asked desperate to know the reason.

She took a deep breath contemplating whether to tell him or not. She reached the conclusion to share her thoughts with him.

"I have never been this close with any male except the males of my family and your brothers", she told him as he frowned.

"What do you mean?", he asked holding her hand wanting to read her angelic face.

"We have a different relation. You are saying I behave differently with others. It's because they aren't my fiance. I never felt any weird feeling for them nor did they touch me the way you touch me", she whispered in her low voice as his eyes held different happiness. One he never felt before.

"How do I touch you?", he asked wanting to know her thoughts. He could feel her hands sweating in nervousness. He made her nervous.

She licked her lips taking a deep breath.

"Like you own me", she whispered. His hold tightened around her hands making her gulp.

He stood up from his place before scrunching down on the ground making her gasp.

"You don't hate me, na? Tara?", he asked keeping her finger under her chin making her look at him. She held his hands not able to hold on to his intense gaze and closed her eyes.

"Tara?", he called her again as she shook her head lightly making his heart flutter.

"Tara, words", he stated in his usual dominating voice but this moment was so special for him.

"No", she whispered which made a small smile cover his lips as he wrapped his arms around her waist picking her up twirling her making her gasp.

She blinked her eyes to understand what just happened hitting his shoulders to let her go.

He put her down feeling her struggle.

"You don't know how much happy you make me", he said before reaching into his jacket's pocket to get a beautiful ring making her gasp.

"I can't take this", she whispered.

"It's not free, trust me. Your yes for the marriage is the price for this which you already said", he told her.

"I can't wear it", she said taking her left hand from his. She never wore any ring on the ring finger of her left hand reserving it for her spouse.

"Why not?", he asked not liking the way she pulled away from him.

"Only my fiance can put ring...", she realized what she was saying before biting her lower lip. Of course, he was her fiance.

"Can we do this in front of our family", she asked him.

"It's more of a promise ring", he said understanding her embarrassment. He felt happy hearing that she didn't wear any ring on this special finger. It was only his right.

"You already have rings in other fingers", he told her looking at her hands where five fingers were already having rings. Some were of gold, some were of the diamond.

"We can do it on engagement", she asked as he put his diamond ring on her right hand's ring finger. The diamond shimmers in its place as he placed a kiss on her ring finger making her shiver.

"You don't know how much happy you make me", he told her looking in her eyes as she looked down.

"Maybe somewhere in the future you will learn to look in my eyes while talking", he teased her making her cheeks turn red. She wanted to go home seeing it getting darker.

He held her hands directing her to his car.

"Listen", she asked in her soft voice as he wore his seatbelt after helping her with it.

"Tell me", he said in a teasing way making her go red again.

"I don't think we should meet this many times before marriage", she asked trying her luck to tell him to stay away from her at least till the marriage.

"Are you telling me to stay away from you", he asked as she bit her lower lip shaking her head immediately.

"It's just it doesn't look good", she told him as he nodded. His eyes not leaving her face.

"As you wish, my queen", he told her as her eyes immediately went on him. Queen?

"Can I ask something?", she asked him as he started driving to which he hummed not moving his eyes from the road knowing he won't able to look away if he looked at her.

"You can marry any girl and I am sure she won't deny as well then why me?", she asked. She heard her friends talking about this thing that men love challenges. She just doesn't want to be a challenge for him.

"Did you ever hear about magnetic attraction?", he asked her and she immediately went back to the day where she first saw him. She felt a weird attraction towards him which she was denying to date.

"You have your answer there", he told her with a smirk on his face seeing her red face.

The rest of the journey went by with them being silent but it wasn't an uncomfortable silence. It was more of a comforting one.

He wasn't really a bad man. She realized.

One saying was echoing in her mind, the villain in one story can be the hero of the other one. It is just a difference in viewpoint.

But the question was: Was she really ready to consider him the hero of her story?

Her heart was aware of the answer and her mind agreed with it but she wasn't ready to accept it.

She looked at him for the last time when they reached her place before walking out. His eyes weren't ready to leave her till the point she went inside.
