《One Last Fight》It Is Time For You To Leave

No questions left my mouth for him to open his and start telling me what else happened that night. He kept saying the same thing in between sentences - I didn't know it was going to happen. That wasn't what I cared about. Compared to events that have taken place, including him busting my nose, I had no reason to trust him.

This wasn't the talk that would drive us down the road of friendship recovery. This was a trip I was taking by myself to heal. There were questions I needed to be answered first. I needed to fuel up first. This was the second to last roadblock preventing me from moving on. It all ended with my dad.

Luke sat in front of me, telling me what he could recall from that night. Warren asked him to go upstairs and see if anybody was up there. He told him I was embarrassed to talk about what was going to happen. He thought it was consensual, and he wanted to make sure everything worked out for me.

Instead of saying anything about it, Luke did what Warren asked him to. He went upstairs and he ran into Kinnick on his way. They got into a fight the week before at a football game. It was the reason he had a healing cut on his eyebrow. It must have been the fight Kinnick told me about. Before the tattooed boxer left, he shoved Luke away from him.

While Luke was upstairs, Eric was slipping something into my drink with Warren. Luke didn't see them dragging me up the stairs, but I tried to understand how that was. If he was upstairs, then how could he not? According to him, he didn't know I was drugged until he realized I wasn't moving on the bed.

He said he saw Warren stripping my pants off as Eric shoved him outside of the room. Then I learned why he said he didn't want to get caught. If they went down, he would go down with them. Warren was the kind of person who would take everybody with him.

"This is going to make me sound like a coward, and I was," he looked at me with tears in his eyes. "But if I got you help, I would have lost my scholarship. It would have been taken the second I was deemed an accomplice."

Before I could speak, which I struggled to find words to, he continued talking. He apologized for being a coward who couldn't save his friend, even though that was all he ever wanted to do. That is why he made it a point to beat the shit out of Warren for lying to him and for what he did to me.

"You listened to him assault me," my voice cracked. "You listened to them laugh."

He started to shake his head. "I fucked up. I'm sorry."

"Please tell me no one else did anything," I pleaded. "I need to know."

He looked up at me. "From the video I saw, it was only Warren."

"Are you sure?"

"One hundred percent," tears fell down his cheek. "I love you, Bo. I promised myself that I failed you once, and I wouldn't do it again. That is why I tried so hard to get you to feel the way I did. So, I could make sure you were protected. As long as you were with me, you would be safe."

"No," I started to shake my head. "That isn't true because if it were, that night would have never happened."

He looked up at me. "I didn't ask you to come to that party."

"No, but you knew what would happen if I came," I sigh. "I trusted you, Luke."

"I would never do anything to hurt you."

"You busted my nose."

"I was drunk -"

"Kinnick has been drunk around me many times, he never laid a hand on me."

"Don't bring him up right now," he warned. "This has nothing to do with him."

"It has everything to do with him," I snapped. "If it weren't for him, I would have never realized what truly happened that night."

"But your mom would still be alive, wouldn't she?"

"I would have never called my mom if you would have stopped Warren."

"So, this is my fault?"

"You watched it happen!"

"I didn't know!"

"How do I know you are telling the truth? You have done nothing but hurt me!"

"You are never going to believe me," his head moved back and forth. "No matter what I say, you will never come back to me. It is always going to be him."

"I think it is time for you to leave," I muttered.

"Are you serious?"

"Please."

"I thought you wanted to work on this."

"No," I moved away from my seat. "I needed answers."

He stood up in front of me. "Bo -"

"Please, walk away."

"You never want to see me again?"

"No," I admit. "I never want to see you again, ever."

"We were friends."

"Past tense."

"One last hug?"

I looked up at him instead of keeping my eyes on the ground. When I stepped closer to him to wrap my arms around him, he pulled me into his chest. I pushed him away but his lips smashed against mine. I could hear the barstools screeching against the ground as they came toward us.

I placed my leg behind Luke's and crossed my fist over his face. He tripped over my ankle, falling to the ground below me. When he fell to the ground, I let my other fist cross his face. They continued to collide with his cheek until arms were wrapping around my waist, dragging me away.

Kinnick growled. "Sit still."

My body continued to thrash against his as I begged him to let me down. "Boston!"

I shot up from the chair he dropped me in. "Let me go!"

His hand pushed me back into the leather, keeping me against his chair. "Calm down."

My body snuck under his arm, but his hand gripped my wrist. I turned around, ready to cross my fist over his face, but he caught it. He continued to hold it in his hand as he directed me toward the wall. My back slammed against the surface. His arms pinned me in my one spot as his eyes looked down at me.

"What the fuck was your plan?" I swallowed harshly as his eyes stared into mine. "You were going to hit me, and then what?"

He kept my fist pinned above my head. "I should be out there beating the fuck out of him right now, but my fiance found it necessary to do it herself."

"Are you mad?"

"No," his breath fanned over me. "I'm turned on."

His hands dropped to my waist, gripping it as he lifted me into the air. I wrapped my legs around his torso as he slammed his lips against mine. Our tongues danced together as I reached in between us, attempting to drop the shorts on his hips. As one hand disappeared into my athletic shorts, the other locked the door.

I felt his fingers pushing their way through my underwear until he had me panting his name. My whines hummed against his lips as they slipped inside of me, pumping until I was begging him for more. His movements were slow and torturous, punishing me for what happened outside of his office.

He ripped the condom in his hands with his teeth. When he pulled his fingers away from me, he rolled on the rubber. I watched until his hands were directing my chin upward to look at him. As I felt him rub against me, I whimpered, arching my back to press against him.

"Kinnick, please."

His hand was back around my throat just how I liked it. There were things I didn't know I wanted. Things I wasn't aware of until he showed me. It was never tight or threatening, but it was enough to make me crumble in his touch like I always did.

"Seeing him kiss you made me want to snap his fucking neck," he rubbed against me. "But watching you lay into him made me want to fuck you until I forgot about it."

"Then what are you waiting for?"

He pressed down on my hip, pushing himself inside of me with a grunt. I gasped as he kept his hands around my neck while the other guided me up and down. There were footsteps coming down the hall, but his mouth was at my ear, telling me to keep quiet.

"Kinnick?"

"Not right now, John."

"He is gone."

His movements were rough. Just as a cry was about to release itself, his hand left my throat, cupping my mouth with his palm. My eyes teared-up as the pleasure coursing through my body stole any ounce of control I had. The wicked smile on his lips told me he knew.

"We'll be out there in a second," Kinnick leaned his forehead against mine. "She needs -"

"No need to explain," he dismissed Kinnick. "Take your time."

His footsteps grew further away as Kinnick pulled his hand away. "I knew you liked it rough."

There was a fire burning inside of my stomach. The kind that consumed every fiber of my body, igniting it with the feeling of him filling me. He reminded me this is something only he can give me. He was the only thing that could light my match.

"My dirty girl," he nipped at my neck.

"Kinnick," I sucked in deep breaths as my toes began to tingle.

"What's wrong?" He murmured into my skin.

"I'm - I'm -"

"Let go," my legs trembled as he continued to drive into me.

His lips pressed into mine as I cried into his mouth, letting the shivers take over my body. He tensed against me, jutting upward as he rode out his own high. I raked my nails up his back, feeling the cloth shrivel against my grip. He stayed inside of me as we gained our breaths. I held his face with my hands.

"I love you."

He leaned his forehead against mine. "I love you."

"I should try to hit you more often," I teased.

He smirked. "We can get a ring for the house."

"I could take you."

"As long as you let me take you," he winked.

I gasped as he pulled away, setting me on the ground. My legs felt wobbly as I stood before him. He sent a wink in my direction as he discarded the condom into his trash bin. I ran my fingers through my hair, attempting to tame any hair that seemed out of place. He opened the door, motioning me to go first.

His hand collided with my butt. "So, who taught you how to throw a right hook?"

"Some guy," I smacked his hand away as it came back to pinch my backside. "Super hot. He has tattoos."

"Is his name Kinnick?" He grinned.

"I think it was John."

He gasped as I continued down the hall. "Boston Marie!"
