《Follow the Plot》Chapter 15

Estorea caressed the tulip petals in her hand, 'So soft and smooth....' She thought as she rubbed the petal.
Pretending to tend to the flowers was what Estorea was currently doing. Although she had some knowledge on gardening, she wasn't really in a mood to put it to good use.
What she had also noticed, despite in another world, all the plants were the same as the ones on earth. Of course, some made-up extras by the author that they used in the book.
Moving on,
Repeatingly, Gardeners that worked at the Palaces were allowed to roam or go to the six backyard gardens - The Sun Palace, the Moon Palace, the Star Palace, the Sky Palace, the Jupiter Palace and the Pluto Palace.
As due to the lack of people who tend to plants, flowers, fruits, and have extensive knowledge on them as not many were interested in horticulture, many of them had to research and self-taught, in rare occasions, they would come across books on them and learn about it.
In the capital, this kind of knowledge was not very much needed, however, the countryside has plenty of information on horticulture.
But then, it's rather difficult to go outside of the kingdom's walls, due to their cautiousness of the neighbouring kingdom.
Getting back to topic,
There were five irregular shaped walls that separated the six gardens. A Gardener would be given a golden key as there was a dark oak wooden door that connected to the other gardens.
Estorea, unfortunately, didn't have such a key. So she could only resort to just climbing the wall, it wasn't that high anyways. She was positive that she could climb over it.
So, Estorea slowly inched towards the wall closer and closer, pretending to take care of the flowers, constantly checking the stems, dirt and so.
Eventually, she also scanned the wall, before initiating an action, most of the time, always look, observe and check before plunging right into it. Control your human emotions, for you might do something stupid or unreasonable.
Studying the wall, Estorea managed to spot several spots where she could place her feet on and climb it.
Slowly, she looked around constantly, making sure that no one was around.
Getting closer to the wall, Estorea grasped the irregulars on the wall, and began pulling herself up. She carefully scaled the wall, making sure she didn't make one single misstep.

And soon, successfully, she managed to do it. Jumping onto the dirt ground with both feet, no one had called out to her and she checked her surroundings carefully, she had a 95% chance of not being seen.
Unfortunately, she didn't know if she triggered the extra 5%. So it's better if she hurry along, she still needs to get back to her room before Anette finds out that she isn't in her room and she would be disqualified.
Hurriedly, Estorea immediately continued her search. Soon, she found a Palace. If she was correct, the palace she was currently in would be the Sun Palace. At the Star Palace, was where the concubines were staying.
Regardless of how good their relationship is with the King, they will still remain as a concubine and they can't change that unless they manage to take down the Current Queen, or she steps down.
But it's obvious the Queen won't let any of that happen. If you get a taste of power, you will end up wanting it forever.
Whilst the Queen, either stayed in the Sun Palace or the Moon Palace in the Queen's Chambers. If one's relationship wasn't good with the King and hence, wishes to live separately from the King.
Based on the relationship, obviously, no one would be in the Sun Palace. Considering the King basically wastes his time with his concubines all the time, smitten. While the Queen just stays in her chambers or sometimes, takes a walk in her garden, at all times, following her constant, daily routine.
The Crown Prince would normally be away at the battlefield. Or where the army and defences were staying, but currently, he was staying at Jupiter Palace, since he just recently came back to visit.
The Jupiter Palace would be where the Crown Prince and Crown Princess would be staying at. While the Pluto Palace was where the other children of the King stayed as they had not been chosen as successors for the throne.
Evan - The Crown Prince, should be at his quarters right now.
The Palaces went in this order,
Sky Palace ➳ Sun Palace ➳ Moon Palace ➳ Jupiter Palace ➳ Star Palace ➳ Pluto Palace
Whichever Palace was closer to the King's and Queen's would be more important. Such as, the Jupiter Palace. The Pluto Palace was the last as it's the least important, nothing more than just a place where they toss the other children, who were not needed, defective or useless.

'Since I was at the Sky Palace. The next door Palace would be the Sun Palace as the King needs to be courteous and respectful sometimes to important Guests.'
Unknowingly, Estorea had predicted her guess correctly. Although she was 99% sure that it was the Sun Palace, there was always that one percent that would indicate that she would be wrong.
However, it's easy to tell which Palace was which. Simply, the grander they were, the easier it was to tell. The Sun Palace would naturally be the most expensive-looking. After all, it's where the most important subject stayed after all.
And boy, when Estorea managed to find the Sun Palace. It was rather binding, there were solid gold pillars that held the ceiling, fully furnished carpeted floors and at least 10 marble fountains in the gardens with beautiful statues that had many details carved into them.
Estorea also noticed that there were many rare breeds of flora and some that she had never even seen before, she assumed it was some custom-made flora and mutant.
There were two guards stationed at the entrance of the Palace, but they weren't exactly doing their job. In fact, one of them was leaning on the wall dozing off, while the other was just crouching down on the floor, looking terribly bored and absent-minded.
Estorea pursued her lips, she didn't need to enter the castle now. She actually needed to find a window that allowed her to view the Study, she still needed to make sure of the Butler's schedule on when he would check the papers.
So Estorea quietly walked away from the guards, going to the side of the building and hiding in the trees and bushes that had grown right next to the palace, her eyes constantly looking at every window that came into sight.
She silently and carefully made her way over, making sure her footsteps won't attract any loud noises or scare anyone.
After a while of walking, Estorea paused, when she saw a brown oak door with a gold lock below its doorknob, and two guards who were guarding it through a window.
'Bingo!' Estorea thought as she backed away from the window, crouching down slightly, hiding behind the bushes and trees.
And as if Lady Luck was smiling upon her, she suddenly saw an old-bearded man in working attire, approaching the guards who immediately saluted him, opening the door for him.
The old man gave a simple nod and went inside and the guards closed the door as he walked in, not allowing Estorea to see anymore which made her grit her teeth.
'Looks like I have to go to the other side...' She sigh quietly, and again, started making her way over to the opposite of the building, which took a while.
Finally, after looking at countless windows, being extremely cautious and vigilant, she finally found the window that allowed one to look inside the King's Study.
Estorea saw the old man, sitting on the chair that was placed behind the desk as mountains of papers and books docked the desks. A feather quill pen was in his left hand as he wrote down several things, flipping and checking through the papers.
It seemed like he was a decent butler after all, doing a King's Job so seriously without any resentment or annoyance.
'Is this perhaps he feels like a King or one in power since he is doing the King' Job? Or is it simply out of loyalty?' Estorea thought curiously, tilting her head.
Estorea then dug through her pockets, pulling out a small, golden pocket watch, which she had stuffed in her pockets, along with her and checked the time. She had done this previously when she was making her way over to the opposite site.
She now needed to wait when the butler would leave, so she could get an estimation of how long he would stay.
It was obviously going to take a long time, since Estorea took about 50 minutes to get to her current location, it would probably take several hours next.
Thank goodness, she had the rest of the day, but at the same time, she was worried that Anette might discover that she was not in her bed.
Sighing at all her problems, Estorea still sat down on the ground, watching the butler. It's okay, naps and sleeping takes a long time naturally...
With uneasiness, Estorea watched the butler, fidgeting constantly as she fiddled with her thumbs to ease her anxiety.
'This is going to take a while...'

Allister Hale's Story Graveyard.
You've tried to write a story yes? So have I, Many times. I get a good vibe going, type a few pages worth of content then reach the point it gets the tiniest bit hard. Thing is, some of those stories are good, the kind of good that gets people excited and then disapointed when they cut off abruptly and without warning before fifteen chapters. So content Warning, none of theese little stories come to any kind of conclusion. A couple are just different attempts at the same idea (some with the same characters no less)They are also raw and uneddited, and no i wont be fixing them.I don't think any of them deserve any additional content warnings, as I'm not interested in writting those sorts of stories, but please read with caution.
