《A Mindful Relationship [Jensoo]》Chapter 19

"Jisoo's absent?"
My day was going fine, it was going great even! But until I found out that Jisoo wasn't going to school from her very best friend did my day go downhill. My mood immediately went bad. And I have no idea why...
"Yeah... she had another set of 'errands' to deal with." Lisa stated with a sigh then she looked up from the book she was skimming through and sighed once again before adding, "Honestly, whenever she returns from her business whatever, she's either bruised a little or from another business meeting."
"Business meeting?" I questioned with one brow raising. That's not exactly what I expected a college student would be attending. A business meeting but not class? That's kinda hot not gonna lie...
I stared at Lisa intently for a sign of continuance and luckily, she read me! She took another sigh and continued, "Yup. She holds her own company... or so she says."
"But your her-."
"Best friend. I know." She cut me off. Looking very disturbed and down.
It was rare seeing Lisa being down. This ball of sunshine had every inch of her body filled with energy and she is rarely frowning. Its either when she's THAT hungry and that she has an issue inside her head that only she knows.
I tried to lift her mood by asking, "Does she recently do that?" But I guess that was a bad idea since her frown deepened and her brows furrowed.
"About twice a week." She stated and went back to her book. This girl is a legit bookworm, she doesn't seem like it but she really is.
"Doesn't that sound suspicious?"
Lisa paused for a second before nodding. "It does... but she gives off this weird vibe whenever I bring up the topic." She shrugged before continuing on with her reading.
"So she keeps on avoiding it, huh?" I placed my chin on my back which was sitting nicely on my lap.
"Kinda..."
"Then why not force her to spit it out?" I suggested as if it was the brightest idea I've ever thought of and Lisa immediately closed the book she as reading shut and looked at me incredulously.
"Your telling me to force a former delinquent who knows MMA to speak?" She asked in an amused tone and shook her head while laughing a little.
"Uh... all that, she does?" I couldn't comprehend the idea of Jisoo being able to do that.
Well, Hanbin did mention that she had amazing fighting skills but I didn't expect it to be that great. They did get into fights with each other before.
"Yup."
"Damn... what for?"
"Dunno." Lisa sighed and shrugged once again.
She placed the book on her bag and began packing up. She had her things all over the table after all. She said she had to review again for the umpteenth time this week. The test isn't even that big of a deal.
I guess she had the feeling that it was almost time for class especially that we were one of the few students left outside the buildings so she started packing.

"How do you even know she does MMA?" I asked and stood up as well. Watching Lisa pack and had no plan of helping the poor girl who found packing quite difficult.
"She told me." She curtly replied.
"And..?"
"Your being nosy, Nini." She huffed when she carried her bag on her shoulder and looked at me amusingly. "Curiosity kills y'know." She pointed to me with a finger gun and 'shot' me.
Dork.
I sighed exasperatedly and pouted, "Your unbelievable."
"Yup, so let's go to class." She suggested and pulled out her hand for me to take. Knowing that I would be planning to run away from this test of ours in Chemistry.
"But I don't wanna~" I whined and stomped my foot on the round like a child in a tantrum.
I saw her roll her eyes before I found myself being dragged into the classroom by my ear. I yelped in pain from time to time before I already found myself sitting on my seat with Lisa humming to herself in satisfaction.
I looked at her completely furious yet quite satisfied that she can do that to me. A masochist aren't I?
"That was abuse! Child abuse! I am a baby!" I whined and all eyes were already on us. Lisa facepalmed herself and flicked my forehead causing me to whine in pain once again.
Seeking revenge for my innocent ear and forehead, I kicked her shin causing her to fall on the floor, groaning in pain and holding her butt and shin. I quickly stood up from my seat and using all my strength, made her stand up with great effort and pushed her onto someone's seat on purpose.
Her eyes widened as she realized who's it belong to. She was about to stand up but the pain on her leg made her cry in pain and a series of curses was being made by her when she saw the owner of that seat approach her.
I smiled to her and said, "Keep Chaeyoung's seat warm, Manoban." There I left her whispering for help but I turned dead at that moment.
Well, not really. Since I have to hear whatever those two were conversing. I took my seat a row after theirs and listened carefully.
"Why the hell are you sitting on my precious seat?" Chaeyoung asked, tone calm yet a bit confused.
"Fuck you, Kim." I heard the poor Thai state before chuckling nervously and looking at Chaeyoung. "I'm..."
"Get off." Chaeyoung ordered. Frowning yet her eyes says otherwise. She was... amused.
"I was planning to-."
Lisa was about to get up but decided against it when she felt Chaeyoung on too of her lap. The blue-haired girl got accidentally pushed towards the Thai and the smile that set upon Lisa's face was so priceless. Chaeyoung growled at the disturbance and glared at the poor girl.
"I'm sorry! I'm very sorry, Rosé." The poor girl apologized again and again while Chaeyoung sat there at blushing Lisa's lap and massaged her temple.
"What did you just call me?" Chaeyoung's tone was dangerous. She was almost mad.
"Uh... R-Rosé?" The girl stuttered out. Not making any eye contact with Chaeyoung at all.

"Don't call me that." Chaeyoung stated. She pointed to me and Lisa then added, "Only these two idiots can."
The girl frantically nodded and Chaeyoung sighed before letting the girl go to her seat already or for sure that poor girl would be crying. That was... Yuna, I claim?
I laughed a bit and focused my attention to my two best friends. They seem to be enjoying themselves with their little banter in which I enjoy hearing. I watched them with amused eyes and smile.
"What?" Chaeyoung asked Lisa who kept on squirming below her.
"Hm..." Lisa gestured to herself and then to Chaeyoung. So basically, she was referring to their position with her eyes and hands. "Your getting comfortable, aren't you?"
"Yes I am. Now stay still before I punch you." Chaeyoung threatened and Lisa immediately shut her mouth and stayed still. Blushing and mouthing curses towards me.
What the fuck?
"Help me!" She mouthed and crazily gestured to Chaeyoung on her lap. She was so red that I think she'd faint if they continued to be in that position.
"I already did." I replied back and she rolled her eyes while resisting to groan out loud of how frustrated she was.
I snickered lowly and gave her a small wave before facing the direction of where the white board was. She sure would be in both pleasure and pain. Poor girl.
"You seem to be having fun laughing there."
"Shit!" The sudden interruption of my fun time made me curse out loud and now everyone's eyes were now on me. Even Lisa's and Chaeyoung's. "S-Sorry..." I apologized sheepishly while cursing again. Lowly this time.
They got back to their respective works and I hid my face in my hands because of how embarrassed I was.
"You really like cursing as a greeting to me, huh?"
"You startled me that's why!" I complained. Whispered so that no one would REALLY hear me.
"Do you really speak as you talk to me in your head?"
"Well, yeah." I replied as if that was a very obvious answer.
"You know, I found a trick to talking in our thoughts. As we should've in the first place."
"Oh yeah? Enlighten me please because people are looking at me." I replied. Tone interested but somehow not interested at the same time. Makes sense? Yeah, me neither.
"Focus on my voice..."
"Yeah." I did as I was told but not sounding so desperate to follow.
"Now tell me what your favorite food is."
"Um... is this-."
"Yes. It is necessary."
What the hell?
"Milk." I replied curtly after a few minutes of wondering why the hell she asked that.
I sighed while crossing my arms and sitting properly on my chair. Posture good and prim.
"Huh? Milk?"
"Yes."
"Well then, your favorite color?"
"Why are you-."
"Just tell me."
"Black or maybe rainbow too." I shrugged to myself.
I smiled a little at the recent memory of me dropping my ice cream which was rainbow colored and tasted like unicorn shit. Don't ask how I know, I just do and Jisoo bought me another one even though she was the on who gave the one I dropped.
We hung out a few times before that night of the accident happened. We did it secretly though. Knowing those two would be teasing the hell out of me and questioning how good Jisoo was.
"So gay."
"Shut up."
"Favorite thing to do in your pass time?"
"Living."
"Something you like to do when your in vacation?"
"Breathing."
"Hm... sounds fun." Was she being sarcastic just now? "Comfort food?"
"Ice cream."
"That's cute. Just like someone I know." Wow, should I be interested then? "Popular in school?"
"Obviously..." I replied with tone full of confidence. I even puffed my chest a little and fixed my posture once more.
"So cocky geez... have good grades?"
"Uh-." Now that's just another story right there.
What on earth is with these questions?!
"Okay. Your stupid."
"Hey!" I yelled at literally no one but specially to this ass of a soulmate of mine causing everyone to look at me. I apologized once again and groaned.
"Something you usually do on a date?"
This girl isn't done yet?! She already embarrassed me two times here!
"Hm... get to know the person's interests." I answered anyways after a few minutes of cursing this girl.
"Okay... so classy."
"I claim it."
Silence enveloped our atmosphere and I assumed she was already gone but I just asked to make sure.
"Was this really necessary?"
"Nope."
"I knew it." I sighed and facepalmed myself. I sound like a fool.
"I just wanted to know my soulmate a little even if the opportunity of us meeting is slim."
"Then how-."
"Close your eyes and focus on me alone." I hope she's being serious this time or I swear I'll never talk to her ever! But I still have no clue how this works so I'll have to practice a few times. "That's it. I promise."
"I'm starting to doubt you big time."
"Try it."
I nervously sighed and did as told. I focused on her and her alone. I closed my eyes and asked, "Can you hear me?"
"Hell yeah, I can."
"That's a relief." I took a sigh and spoke again inside my head just to make sure if this was actually true. But then unluckily, "Great, class is starting."
"Sucks to suck."
"I'm really starting to hate you." I frowned when I heard her say that and frowned even more when I remembered I didn't review this shit of a test at all. I'm screwed but I'll just flow with this!
"Not something to say in our first date, yes?"
"Yeah." I replied. Because of how anxious I was I didn't realize what I said. "Wait what?!"
"Get to know the person's interests. Check."
"Wha-."
"Talk to you when I talk to you, J."
Just as I was about to reply back, my test paper was already in front of me and each question just made my head hurt more and more. I fucking hate school. But my mind wandered to my idiotic soulmate...
What the fuck just happened?

My Pixie Familiar
Pixies are real. Not only are they real, but are considered pests due to their mischievous nature and love of pranks. Some people think they are magical and making a potion or powder from their wings will transfer that magic to a person. Any good alchemist will tell you that is not true. Most will gladly take your money and make you a "magic potion" though. My name is Jase Fisher and I thought I would follow in the steps of my mother and become an alchemist since I didn't enjoy fishing, hunting, or any of the other trades offered in Beau Ferry, my village. Not only have I been looking forward to being an alchemist, I was looking forward to bonding with a familiar. My biggest fear is not bonding with one of the exciting familiars such as a dragonet. If I can just make it through the bonding process, my life is set. Oh, and not run afoul of any pixie pranks.

A Fool's Journey, or the Vagrancies of a Man in Exotic Lands
What does a sad bastard do when fate, literally, decides to throw him into a fantasy world? Solon just wanted to lead a normal life; work, share some pizza with friends, work, play some videogames or read something, work, maybe sleep?, work... Pretty much the usual, rinse and repeat. It was far from perfect, but life was nicely boring and comfy enough. Truth be told, he had hoped it would go on forever, or until he got married, or until the apocalypse finally decided to bring an end to everything. As far as he could tell, though, the former was about as likely as the latter; not very. And perhaps even somewhat related, if it ever came to it. Unfortunately, he saw himself involved in some sort of cosmic fart that screwed him over, brutally severing his life-plan. Or, maybe, would it be more suitable to say that Fate had other plans? Sure, he's yet to find out exactly what those plans might be, but, at the very least, they do seem to involve him being shoved into another world, fighting off a couple of horrendous creepers, and -almost- an accidental liaison with a baboon. Needless to say, the job doesn't come with dental care, and death seems more likely than retirement... Yep, when he got yoinked out of Earth, there were no princesses waiting for him, no sexy goddesses, and no severe Gandalf-wannabes! Heck, not even a bunch of demonic cultists! All he got for the trouble was a bunch of snarky windows and the honest desire to punch whatever bastard happens to be behind the smug System. Well, that, and a few forced trips to the so-called Tower of Ascension. Not exactly what he would have expected but, on the plus side, he does get to do some magic. Though, not quite the wand-waving kind. Whatever. One thing’s patently clear, though, he’s certainly not the chosen one, nor the summoned hero, nor the Savior. If anything, he himself might be in need of some saving... Just what kind of fool does the System take him for? Please do consider the tags. Also, 'Strong Lead' here means weak to strong, over a decent amount of time, not op from the very beginning. Things to expect: decent grammar, cheeky goats. Things not to expect: Harems, a decent sense of fashion.
