《A Mindful Relationship [Jensoo]》Chapter 17

It's been a couple of weeks already since Jisoo's incident and us - me and Chaeyoung - knowing about her supposedly secret condition. But having Lisa as your best friend, that's somewhat impossible in many different ways.
"I'm starving..." Chaeyoung complained whilst throwing a pen towards my direction which I thoroughly caught with a smirk causing her to huff in disappointment.
"Your always starving." Lisa stated in a matter-of-factly tone making me stifle a laugh when Chaeyoung threw her book towards Lisa's direction causing the blonde to jerk her head a few inches away from where the book had intended to land on.
The small sigh of relief Lisa never intended to escape from her lips made Chaeyoung smirk undeniably well. I simply rolled my eyes and watched the whole exchange of glares from the two before Chaeyoung spoke out again of her exaggerated hunger.
"I can eat trash if I wanted to."
A laugh made it's way out of my mouth before I responded with a small playful smirk, "Then why haven't you eaten yourself out?"
"Fuck you." She mumbled before I found myself behind Lisa for defense from the raging human chipmunk who had the demeanor of a murderer.
I stuck my tongue out for good measures to only put more fire in Chaeyoung's raging figure. Lisa was just letting herself be my shield, and waving casually to the passerby looking at the three of us incredulously, as if this was already a normal part of her daily life which it was.
"Bitch." Chaeyoung growled while attempting to claw my face but I immediately dodged it letting Manoban have her face scratched by the blue-haired girl who quickly apologized and went on and on about her apology but the blonde girl only shrugged it off, looking Chaeyoung as if she's the most beautiful girl in the world.
Sickening but sweet.
It only made me realize that Lisa was already used to Chaeyoung hurting her. Not physically because Chaeyoung has never been more gentle to a person other than Lili but emotionally. Chaeyoung knows her feelings yet she doesn't do anything about it but brush it off as nothing. The poor Thai can't move on easily because Chaeyoung is and will always be the girl of her dreams.
I still wonder why though. The girl's a complete brat but I think I know why. Chaeyoung was the first ever person to be Lisa's rival in not only academics, looks, or sports but in getting attention from people around them. They're both attention seekers but I can still see a future in their relationship. Chaeyoung was also, her first friend.
"Can you two please shut it?! I could eat a fucking human because of how hungry your useless fights get me." Lisa finally snapped making me and Chaeyoung abruptly stop bickering and running. She sighed and elbowed my stomach with unpleasant force making me release a wholesome amount of air while she flicked Chaeyoung's forehead with not so much strength.

Whipped.
I could only scoff and roll my eyes while gesturing to Chaeyoung's figure while stating, "Do start with this 'human', Lili."
"How are you even my friend?" Chaeyoung questioned while folding her arms on her chest and lookin simply annoyed of my presence.
But oh well, what can I do? I'm me and no one can change that.
"Because of this fake-haired douche." I nonchalantly pointed to Lisa who was now glaring at me with great intensity, you'd think she's serious about it.
"Hey! My hair is not fake." Lisa, at the mention of her 'oh-so-pleasant' hair, fixed her bangs in reflex. Straightening it neatly and accordingly. A pout displaying itself on her lips which made her look like a duck, to be honest.
"At least you didn't deny yourself being a douche." I whispered into her ear with a teasing grin made its way into my lips making her frown but she simply shrugged and sat on her seat again. Busying herself in the world of Internet.
"I am still starving!" Chaeyoung whined, slumping herself beside Lisa and glancing on the Thai's phone from time to time. What a way to look undisturbed, Chaengie...
"Get a fucking snack over there!" I spatted towards the blue-haired girl while pointing to the innocent vending machine who almost looked rejected at the corner if it wasn't for the basketball boys hanging there all the time.
"My wallet was stolen this morning and I haven't had a single bite of food since then, you bitch!" Chaeyoung almost cried while saying those words. Tears were forming in her eyes while I rolled my eyes exasperatedly.
I took out a bill from my back pocket and flaunted it over to her. "There-."
I was cut off from my words almost immediately when Jisoo appeared out of nowhere behind me and handed Chaeyoung five big bars of chocolate. She wasn't finished yet because now, she was searching something in her bag and smiled when she handed Chaeyoung a whole bag of chips.
"Have it." Jisoo mouthed silently. A small genuine grin on her face wen she saw Lisa pout at her direction. Silently begging for food as well and so her Unnie did just that and gave her a bag of potato chups as well.
"Why didn't you communicate this way at first? It could've been easier..." Chaeyoung commented while chewing on the second bar of chocolate. Well, that was fast. "This is good, thanks." Chaeyoung raised the third bar of chocolate in the direction of Jisoo which the older simply smiled at and stuffed it into her mouth with no difficulty at all.
"Unnie has trouble moving her mouth." Lisa explained, gesturing to Jisoo's face, while Chaeyoung and I nodded in understanding.

"What about now?"
Lisa pointed to Jisoo casually talking to Chaeyoung, silently mouthing her words with a smile on her face. I unconsciously smiled at the sight while Lisa and I sighed in content.
"They're beautiful..."
"Yes they are."
...
"Kim Jisoo!" The loud voice of the principal echoed all around the room making the classroom go silent in seconds. All eyes were now on Jisoo who looked just as confused as all of us. "Come with me outside." Principal Lee gestured to the outside of the room and Jisoo immediately rose from her seat and followed on. Giving me small reassuring smile before finally disappearing from my sight.
I, curious as everyone in the room, stood up from my seat, not bothering to look back to my yelling professor, and followed the principal and Jisoo who were now standing in front of the entrance of the school. Facing five or more intimidating guys outside of the entrance.
My brother and the rest of the basketball varsity team were also called out by the principal and was now standing beside Jisoo who looked nothing more than serious. A swarm of people already formed behind Jisoo and the boys, just a few meters away, to enjoy the show.
It was tempting to just go there and ask them deliberately but I'm not stupid enough to go in between them and those... intense students from another school.
"I want you to handle this immediately or else I will make sure to have all of you have a punishment worth remembering." Principal Lee said through gritted teeth and a fake smile before walking away, leaving Jisoo and the boys to handle the issue.
"Y'know, last month Saturday was kind of unfair don't you think so?" A guy from the other school finally spoke up after a few minutes of just staring at each other and falling into silence.
Looks like that statement was meant for Jisoo because he was glaring at her with murderous intent and a smirk full of spite.
"Oh! It's you five..." June spoke with a tone of feigned realization that even I could feel the annoyance radiating from the guys from JYP High. I figured they'd be that school because of their uniforms and attitude. "And you even brought some reinforcements!" June continued on as if he didn't notice those guys clenching their teeth in desperate need of not punching June.
"Did you really just forget us?!" Another guy from JYP yelled and pointed to themselves while the basketball team only shrugged. "We'll beat you this time and not like last time-."
"That we actually kicked your asses?" Hanbin added. A smile of triumph in his face that could only be called as fucking mockery. Can't say I didn't laugh.
"Shut up!"
"Well, let's not get to ahead of ourselves and cause a commotion here in our turf now right? That'll lead all of you in a disadvantage. Let's keep this professional and plan out where to meet." Bobby suggested, looking very calm about this situation that it also lessened the anger in the opponent's eyes which made everyone sigh in relief.
"The usual place then. Don't be late or we'll think your too preppy to fight a petty school like ours." Their leader perhaps spatted while our team nodded in agreement.
JYP didn't waste anymore time and headed towards their vehicles before revving off to their forsaken school. I saw the figures of the boys and Jisoo's slump in relief. They were nervous too, huh?
"What the hell, Soo." Bobby complained when Jisoo hit his head and glared at him as if trying to say just how stupid he is after what he did. "We're going to win anyways so what's the problem?"
And there's when I decided to finally go to them. The crowd formed awhile ago slowly lessened much to my relief. As soon as I stood in front of seven of them, I stated,
"What the hell is happening?"
"Ah... hey Jen." Hanbin sheepishly greeted while rubbing the back of his neck. Why wouldn't anyone act this way especially because their sister is glaring at them, right?
"What did you agree on, Hanbin?"
"Just some fun."
"What do you mean "Just some fun."? It was obviously a fighting challenge and you accepted it, you twerp!" I hit him. Damn I did. What they did was completely uncalled for and just plain dumb. So hitting him is a good way to punish the hell out of him.
"Ow! Ow! Stop it! Jennie!"
I finally stopped while he pouted out of pain. "When is this fight?"
"Just like all the people awhile ago heard, this afternoon." June answered.
"Your not going." I pointedly looked at Hanbin who looked defeated making me smile. He definitely doesn't have any choice really. "Your going too, Jisoo?" The girl immediately shook her head causing the boys to look at her in surprise. "I thought so."
"Your not going to have any concern for us?" The rest of the boys asked and I simply smiled at them.
"You guys deserve it. You guys started it in the first place."
