《A Mindful Relationship [Jensoo]》Chapter 6

Just when I was about to die from boredom, the bell finally rang indicating that it was lunchtime already. A wide smile spread on my face seeing the professor finally dismissed us.
Everybody didn't waste anymore time and stood up, not caring if they left the classroom into a war zone because that's what it looked like when all the other students had gotten out of the room.
I, too, was about to rush out of the room when I remembered that I won't be coming there alone. I turned my heels and went back to our - mine and Jisoo's - table where Jisoo was still packing up her stuff to be placed in her locker.
She abruptly stopped what she was doing then faced me so suddenly that I almost lost my balance evading her hair. I gave her a confused look while that poker face of hers stayed on hers.
She took a small notebook out of her pocket before scribbling something on it then passing it to me. I hesitantly took it from her although I don't why but she somehow makes me feel scared in a sort of way.
No need to wait for me.
"But I want to." I said, looking up from the paper to only see her staring at me again. Looks like she was done packing up which was quicker than expected.
Seriously, she's been doing that since class started. Or should we say, we both were staring at each other. Curiosity got the best of us, I think.
She ripped off another piece of paper from her notebook, scribbled on it in a fast pace and yet her handwriting still is very elegant, then handed it to me. I received it immediately, not wanting her arm to be tired out by me.
I don't want people to get the wrong idea. I've already gave my face away a lot this morning.
"B-But Lisa-." My words were cut short in a second by the pointed look Jisoo gave me. Chills ran down my spine when she did so.
But even if I did feel that foreign scary feeling and she made me feel that, I still stood my ground. Giving her a look of the same intensity.
"Lisa'll kill me if I left you alone. So no." I gave that stern response that only made her sigh in defeat after a few seconds of our staring game. And I almost gave up if it wasn't for the memory of Lisa almost killing me because I stole one of her wigs from her collection.
She ripped out another paper, scribbled, gave me the paper. That cycle will go on so you'll be seeing a lot of these sentences, peeps.
Fine. But losing your face here in school because of me will be your fault.
By reading this alone, I already know that this is some serious threat from her to me. I looked up from the paper with a sheepish and fearful smile to only see her giving me raised eyebrows.

"O-Of course."
She gives me a nod before walking past me. Swinging her bag over her shoulder, and giving me a look that seemed so amused that it almost reminded me of Chaeyoung. And you all know how annoying Chaeyoung's smug look can be.
I took a deep breath to calm my triggered nerves and chased after her slow walking figure. Most likely waiting for me to arrive by her side. But after I've walked beside her, every single person on the hallways are talking about her already. Either be bad or good comments, Jisoo simply ignores them and that's very impressive considering that most of it are somehow threats.
"Woah... in the first day and your already this popular all because of the event this morning? Word goes around like fire, huh?"
I tried lightening the mood up because it's gotten heavy ever since I've walked beside her. But the fact that she looks stone cold and unapproachable right now isn't helping the situation at all.
But to my surprise, she looked at me with a smirk that only showed how annoying she can get. She had that typical 'I-told-you-so.' grin in her face and that shit pisses me off because I simply see that almost everyday with Rosie!
"I know alright! Don't give me that look." I huffed while crossing my arms. Not minding the glances given to me by some people on the hallways.
And now another expression took over her face. It took me about five seconds to finally get what the look on her face was.
"What do you mean by that look? That this issue about you is affecting me?" I asked and the nod that she gave me made me almost laugh. "It is not!"
It honestly was not, I think. I mean, I do feel a bit mad about her ignoring me but people just assumed the whole situation and now Jisoo was suffering from it. And that made me feel guilty but I didn't want her to know that.
I've never actually had difficulty with people especially coming from an elite family. People almost favorited me and that made some people jealous but they couldn't do anything to me 'cuz the consequences won't be very light.
"Fine. It may be affecting me a little." I mumbled through my pursed lips. I've never actually let someone know what's on my mind before but I guess when Lisa said Jisoo was some different girl, she was right. She actually made me open my mind out without trying.
I was surprised to have a paper shoved onto my chest, knocking some air out of me, but the one that shoved it to me was already walking away within fast pace. I was busy looking at her back figure in confusion that I almost forgot to read the paper.
As I read it, my cheeks heated up almost immediately and a dopey smile formed upon my lips. Not that I minded. Well, I do because now people were looking at me like some weirdo but that doesn't affect me right now.

Jisoo totally does though.
I looked down on the paper again not knowing that I actually let out a small squeal before chasing the person who gave me this. She's so dead for making me act this way.
You look cute.
...
"What took you two slowpokes so long?" Lisa almost whined when me and Jisoo sat down in front of them. The two of us only stuck our tongues out on her.
"It was hard finding you guys in this packed up canteen, y'know." I huffed out while busy trying to slice the steak I ordered. Yes, that's how luxurious this school is that it even has steak on its menu.
"Even I had a hard time." Chaeyoung said in between soft chews. This girl seriously takes decency seriously. Manners matter to her more than me and Lisa.
"Hey Lisa, your friend here is very annoying." I pointed to Jisoo beside me. The older girl only gave me a small smirk before continuing eating her fries and ice cream. Dipping the fry on the ice cream is what I meant. Absolutely weird but it seems like she was enjoying herself.
Seriously though, who does that?
But I then noticed that Lisa wasn't paying attention to me but was busy staring at something in particular. I trailed my eyes on where she was staring at and wasn't surprised at what I saw.
"Why are you staring at the cat that the manager of the canteen own?" I asked, facepalming myself for asking because I know she'll ramble her reasons on and on.
I caught Lisa's attention finally and she had this pout on her lips with tears breaming in her eyes. And here it goes.
"The cat is so cute!" She points to the cat who got startled in return then jumped into the hands of its master. The owner of the cat groaned and glared at Lisa for being so loud and now he had to take care of the unbothered cat awhile ago. Lisa gave him an apologetic smile which made everyone around her laugh including me and Chaeyoung.
"Stop laughing!" She slammed the table with her face as red as a tomato. Even Jisoo somehow joined in but was very determined not to laugh or else Lisa will probably be crying.
"S-Sorry... I-I..." I managed to stutter out but was impossible when everyone was still laughing around us.
"The cat wasn't even that cute and your already acting like this. I'm way more cuter." And here's Chaeyoung to ruin my mood but people were much more amused than I am.
"I can't argue with that but still!" Lisa whined and we already know where this is headed.
"Oh no... Chaeyoung, you have dug your ears' grave when you said that."
When I was busy laughing over Rosie's terrified face, I didn't notice Jisoo writing something on a paper. She passed it to me obviously.
Just tell her that she can come to my suite later if she shuts her mouth.
"Hey Lisa, Jisoo Unnie here says that you can come to her suite later if you shut your mouth." I told the maknae who immediately shut up at the mention of the letter. But stupid me didn't realize what I just read and said but soon later did. "A s-suite?!"
"You live by yourself, Unnie?" Chaeyoung asks Jisoo who only nodded in response. And I was here feeling clueless and shocked at the same time at the new information I have collected from Jisoo. Jaw dropping wasn't even an option to what I was feeling.
"Unnie, why don't we invite them as well? I mean, we're already this close so you won't mind right?" Lisa happily suggested while clapping like a baby seal.
Jisoo wrote down on her small notebook and passed Lisa the paper. Lisa showed me and Chaeng as well making the two of us smile at it. It only meant that she was already comfortable being with us even though no expression was on her face right now.
Sure I guess. But I won't be home 'till 7:00.
"It's fine." Lisa brushed off.
"Can we really go?" Chaeyoung asked timidly that it almost made me laugh at her for being this gentle to someone. I mean, Lisa did instruct us to do so.
Jisoo nodded making Chaeyoung sigh in relief. Taking a bite on her burger in the process.
"We keep on chatting here and I still haven't touched my food." I sighed while looking the steak displayed before me. I somehow lost my appetite while looking at the buffed up meat making me grimace.
"Can I have it then?" Lisa asked and happily danced on her seat when I shoved it in front of her.
"You have monsters inside your stomachs."
Jisoo passed me another paper which made me laugh.
Nope. They're the monster themselves.
"Unnie! When did you two get so close that your already teaming up?" Lisa pouted at Jisoo who only ruffled her hair in return. Had a bit of difficulty doing so because Lisa was on the other side of the table and she had short arms.
"I actually don't know when. This girl over here only annoys the shit out of me."
I pointed to Jisoo who only pouted but smiled at me nonetheless and gosh did I almost faint when she did so. Never have I ever had an attraction on someone's lips but Kim Jisoo is changing that.
But I can't say that she doesn't look cute while smiling.

Restaurant Core
A dungeon core that wants to feed others instead of itself. Can this dungeon overcome its challenging start in a goblin cave? Will it achieve its dream of being the ultimate restaurant or will it be forced to concede to its own nature as a dungeon core? Follow Regis the dungeon and his loyal hobgoblin servant Strum in this dungeon's quest to become the one and only Restaurant Core. I started this to give me a more humorous character-centric narrative to explore. I also wanted to poke fun at the typical dungeon core story by turning it on its head. Who knows, maybe you'll learn a recipe or two from it. Hope you enjoy!Updates at least once a week. Special thanks to Asviloka for so much help in the art direction of the cover. Much love to her. Unfinished - Apologies to anyone who was reading but I have no current intentions to revisit this story Alex was stuck in a rut: He was nearing thirty, and his career seemed to be going no-where; He used to have plenty of friends at university, but had gradually lost touch with them. He had recently started using a dating site, but truthfully he never quite got over his ex. It could be worse; he didn't spend his nights wallowing in self pity. However, he had a sinking feeling that his life was going no-where fast. When Alex decided to take up an old hobby all he really was looking for was something fun to do on friday nights. Thrust into another world by a mad mage Alex must adapt quickly to survive. Unfortunately, Alex showed up late to game night and ends up stuck with a pretty mediocre character in this game like reality. Alex must learn to survive in this new world; just because it all seems like a giant game doesn't make death any less terrifying. This will be my first attempt at writing litrpg. I wanted to set myself the challenge of writing every week and I think knowing people might be reading it will motivate me. I've always worked much better with external deadlines. FAQ Why should I read this LitRPG? I am writing because I enjoy it and you should read it if you enjoy it. If I had to make an elevator pitch I would start off by saying my MC is a rogue type character, which seems a relatively uncommon character at least based on what I have read. I also strive to make the supporting cast three dimensional characters, and not just caricatures. Finally, I can't forget that this is a LitRPG so I have tried to make a RPG system with depth, and one that makes sense. How often will you release chapters? At least once a week is my goal. I am a nurse with a baby at home, so between my hospital and my baby I won't have time for more unless something dramatically changes. Will there be romance? I won't rule it out as I try to let my characters write their own stories. However, there will NEVER be a harem, it just isn't something I am interested in. Gore, Profanity, and Traumatising Content? I don't intend to have any of these present at obscene levels, but my tolerance might be different to yours. The tags are mostly there to cover me.
