"hi louis." i walked into louis on my way to my 2nd class.
"h-hey zayn?" he questioned. i rolled my eyes, jokingly.
"not you too!" first harry, now louis? what's happening?
"n-no.. it's okay.. anyway i gotta get to my class.. uh.. see you later?.." louis didn't wait for an answer. he scurried off.
what's happening?
after class, i walked into the lunch room. there was no sign of harry.
or louis.
so i sat down with niall and liam.
"hi." i smiled at the two.
they parted, and looked at me.
"oh hey z. sorry you had to witness us.." liam chuckled.
"oops." niall picked his sandwich up and took a bite.
"weren't you with louis?" i asked niall. niall shook his head.
"we were a little too wasted.. that party..." niall giggled a little.
"do you know what's happened to liam and harry lately?.. they've been acting strange." i sighed.
"nope.. not a clue." liam bit his lip, taking a sip of his water.
"nothing.." niall chewed his sandwich.
"please don't tell me you two are in on whatever they're doing too!!" i threw my hands into the table.
liam almost choked. "heck no! never! never, never, never!" he was almost defensive.
"niall?" i turned to niall.
"weather's been nice huh?" i rolled my eyes. this time, not jokingly.
"i'm done." i got up, grabbing my things. i walked outside to see harry.
"hi." i waved at him.
harry ignored me.
"harry!" i walked up to him.
"zayn this isn't the time. you ned to leave." harry sighed.
"harry!! you've been ignoring me! my phone calls my texts! what's gotten into you?!" i frowned. harry turned around like he was going to walk away.

i grabbed his arm. "let go of me zayn!" he shook his arm, but I didn't let go.
"why have you been ignoring me?!" i became angry.
"zayn! this isn't the time! you need to leave!!" harry repeated.
"just the other day we were talking and we had our little thing going on and now you've been ignoring me?! harry please."
"zayn!! you need to leave now." he scolded.
"harry.. but harry." i let go of his arm.
"bye." harry huffed, then turned around.
"i love you." i sighed.
harry turned towards me, then turned back and walked away.
"harry please." i shouted.
harry didn't answer.
"please harry!!" harry disappeared behind the school.
"ugh!!" i ran my fingers through my hair and walked back inside.
what has gotten into harry? why is he ignoring me?

Delve
Summary – Level 1: Delve is an isekai litrpg that follows an average guy who just happened to wake up in a forest one day. He wasn’t summoned to defeat the demon lord or to save the world or anything like that, at least as far as he can tell. The only creature there to greet him was a regular old squirrel. Soon enough, he meets other people, only to discover that he can’t speak the language, and that not everybody immediately trusts random pajama-wearing strangers they met in the middle of the wilderness. Things generally go downhill from there, at least until the blue boxes start appearing. Delve is a story about finding your way in a new, strange, and dangerous world. It’s about avoiding death, figuring out what the heck is going on, and trying to make some friends along the way. It’s not about getting home, so much as finding a new one. Did I mention that there will be math? Summary – Level 2: Okay, but what are you in for, really? Well, this story is supposed to be realistic, or at least, as realistic as a fantasy litrpg can be. The main character doesn’t instantly become an all-powerful god and murder-hobo his way across the universe. Delve is, at its heart, a progression fantasy, but that progression is meant to feel earned. The numbers in this story actually mean something. Everything is calculated, and if you find a rounding error, I expect you to tell me about it. That said, if math isn’t your cup of tea, there is plenty more that the story has to offer. Characters are meant to feel real, and progression isn’t only about personal power; it’s also about allies, connections, and above all, knowledge. Figuring out how the system works is a significant theme. ... What, you want more details? Okay, fine, but this is going to get a bit spoiler-y. Are you sure? Yes! Really sure? I mean, this summary is practically half as long as the first chap– Now! Okay, okay! The main character becomes a magic user, but he takes a route that is not very popular in adventurer culture, namely that of a support. There is a full magic system with various spells, skills, and abilities, but our MC decides that aura magic is the way to go, and that the only stat worth investing in is mana regeneration. Most people at the Adventurer’s Guild think that this makes him a bit of a dumbass, but he’s playing the long game. We’ll see how that works out for him, won’t we? Because of his build, the MC levels up fast, at least compared to normal people. There are no cheats, though, and he is limited in other ways. There are some clear and pretty obvious downsides to his build. That’s what makes it fun, no? Morals? Our MC has them. Again, we’ll see how that works out for him. Realism, remember? Would you be okay with killing someone and looting their body? I sure hope not. POV? The focus is on the main character, but there will be occasional varying perspectives from people around him, or involved in the events related to the main plot. It isn’t going to jump all over the place. Tech is standard medieval stasis. No smartphones, but the MC does have a technical background. Computers and their programming might be involved. There might even be a bit of uplifting down the road, who knows? Anyway, it isn’t the focus. He isn’t going to invent the gun in chapter 1 and change the face of warfare. Romance is not a major focus. Friendships are more the name of the game, though there will be some characters in romantic relationships. There is exploration, though not as much of the geographical nature as you might expect. It is more about exploration of the system and the culture. The pace is slow and detailed, sometimes verging on slice-of-life. The action is meant to be realistic and grounded in the numbers, and it is intended to have meaning beyond simply punching things until they stop moving. The general tone of the story is grey, and some parts can get quite dark. People die. Sometimes, people with names, but not anywhere near GoT level. There is plenty of light, too, though, to balance the darkness. The world is dangerous, but overcoming that danger is why we’re all here, isn’t it? Anyway, if you’ve made it this far through the summary, you clearly like words. I hope you enjoy the story! Cover by Miha Brumec Summary Updated: 2020-06-14
8 822An old man's new world
An old man on his deathbed has many regrets, but the one thing he regrets the most is not fulfilling his sense of adventure. What would he do if given a new change? I always try to make the characters as realistic as possible by giving them lives of their own and motivations for doing different actions, but because I'm a new author, I might miss a few things, so please, feel free to tell me if something feels fake or unrealistic. I also write as a hobby, and my motivation tends to go up and down. If I'm not feeling motivated, I won't force myself to write. This means that the upload schedule might have abrupt gaps and sudden spurts.

Half the world, Disappeared. The other half, Branded. With the world irreversibly changed, Blaze, Ysandra, and Theta Squad must master their Brands if they want to survive. But they're not the only ones - friends and foes alike continue to roam the ruins of civilization, and ghosts from Blaze's past still haunt him. Will they survive? Or will history forget them as it has forgotten the past all too many times?
8 128Clarent Saga: Chronicles
Based on my work on Saga of the Jewels, I've been hired by an indie game developer to write the novel for their 'novel + turn-based battles' game which is in Early Access on Steam. Of course, a 'novel + turn based battles' is a terrible idea for a game, which is why no other games like this exist, but hey, the developer is paying me. And if something's worth doing at all, it's worth doing as well as possible, so I am going to give this project my very best shot and try to make it as good as it can be. So if you read this, please give me feedback on the story to help me make it as good as it can be! Please note, for this story I have been given a pre-existent set of characters, character back-story sketches and a rough plot to work with. I also have to insert random battles into the narrative, have set characters appear in a certain order, and have the party fight fixed bosses in a certain order, all at fixed points! Please also note that this is a first draft. I will be editing and re-working this in the future and re-posting it. But I need helpful feedback, if anyone can give it. You can also find the game version of this on Steam by searching there for 'Clarent Saga: Chronicles'.
