Adrian POV

As I shut the door I picked up the nearest thing which was a vase.

Then I threw it against the wall.

I could hear her, her cries.

"I broke him this is all my fault."

That made me freeze.

I wanted to go on a damn rampage like a wild animal.

I let out a loud scream and started punching the wall.

After a good 10 punches. My knuckles were bleeding I walked up to the door to get lily.

I walked up to a crying lily and picked her up.

I put her on my shoulder so she was looking at my behind.

I walked inside, locked the door and walked toward our room.

I threw her on the bed and stared at her.

Seeing her eyes all red from crying made me clench my hands so hard that the old little cuts I had on my knuckles reopened.

My ones that I just gave myself for punching the wall were still bleeding.

I stared at her saying nothing.

When Lily notices that I was bleeding she hit my back and I put her down, and she ran to the bathroom.

When she came out she had the medical kit.

She sat down placed my right hand on her lap.

She opened the kit up and started treating my hand.

I stared at her face how she was so much paying attention to every detail on my hand.

"Give me your other hand."

Lily whisper breaks the silence.

I gave a small nod and gave my left hand.

As she treated that hand I closed my eyes hearing her breathe.

When she patted my hand I opened my eyes, and saw both hands were now treated.

I stared right at her eyes and for a split second I saw fear in her eyes.

That made me growl.

Is she now afraid of me?

"Stop growling so much Adrian I get it you're mad at me."

That shocked me.

Since when did Lily ever have this confidence with her words?

I would be lying if I said it wasn't sexy.

Even when she's mad at me I still want her.

I gave a very deep growl.

I took a step toward her and grabbed her chin.

I looked down at her lips and back at her eyes.

I let her go and turned around clenching my jaw.

She was avoiding my eyes.

I took a deep breath and sighed.

I can't even kiss her anymore with these eyes they scare her.

"Lily are you afraid of my eyes?"

I asked not even turning around.

After waiting ten seconds I turn around and stare at her.

"Well are you?"

She hides her face with her hands.

She removed them and bluntly said"yes I'm sorry, but I am Adrian they remind me of things I don't want to think about."

Oh.

Red eyes remind her of what?

"What do they remind you of?"

I ask looking intensity at her.

"Nothing it's just nightmares."Lily whispered.

Nightmares?

"Adrian are your eyes always gonna be like that?" She whispered trying to change the subject.

They wouldn't stay but she would have to accept me as her mate.

"No Lily they won't stay like this forever if you want them gone you have to accept me."

I stared at him Mrs.Black mention the ritual before.

She was saying how if I didn't fully believed in Adrian as a mate the Moon goddess will not accept us as a pair.

"And if I don't accept you and do the ritual?" I whispered.

"Well then my eyes will stay red and as time pass I'll go more insane and eventually try to kill you and myself." He calmly states.

Why is he so calm saying that its starting to freak me out.

I stared at him with wide eyes.

He would kill me?

I slowly step toward him wanting to hug him.

Seeing me move he sighed and engulfed me in his arms.

I wrapped my arms around him and just stayed breathing his scent.

We stayed like that for what seems hours till he pull away. "You need a shower." He says covering his nose.

I looked at him shocked he did not just say that.

"Haha I'm kidding Lily, but no seriously we both really do need one."

I looked at him narrowing my eyes.

"Fine I'll take one first."

"Nope ha no we are taking one together." He says with a smirk.

"No we are not." I told him as I walked toward the bathroom.

As I was about to close the door Adrian put his foot to keep it open.

He then pushed the door hard making me fall.

"I said we are going to take one together." He says with a smirk as he comes inside locking the door.

I looked at him shocked.

"Fine then I'm not going to take one."

I get up and try to walk out but he was blocking the exit.

"What did I say that you did not understand?"

"Adrian move I'm not taking a shower with you." I looked at him and saw his new red eyes staring at me as if it was laughing.

"And why not? Is it because you don't want me anymore?" He stopped and looked at me.

"No it's not that Adrian."I whisper thinking about how my body looks like.

I looked down staring at the floor.

I look up and see his back.

"I was kidding take your shower first."

I couldn't even understand his tone.

He sounded so disappointed yet so happy at the same time.

I hear him chuckle so slightly and then he opens the door and goes out.

I lock the door and then collapse.

I stayed there for a couple of minutes just thinking about what happened.

I didn't even want to shower anymore.

I slowly started stripping seeing all my scars once more.

I trace the scar that I had right on the side of my thigh that I got from a broken bottle from that man and I looked at the huge mirror.

I turned so I was able to see my back and saw so many marks and cuts that all came from him.

I got in the shower and started crying I had this pain on my chest and this bad feeling deep down.

I know this is all fault.

I sat down feeling the cold water not bothering to make it warmer.

The red eyes scare me the most.

I don't think that's Adrian.

It has to be something else Adrian isn't like this.

I get up and start shampooing my entire body making sure not to miss a spot.

I kept on imagining those eyes.

I am missing Adrian and I know for sure that's not entirely Adrian.
