I was running, running from a wolf.

I kept on seeing father laughing as I ran.

I ran into a pair of arms but as I looked up it was a wolf head.

The half-wolf/human threw me on the floor.

The wolf then crowded me and it transformed into a person faced.

All I caught from the wolf's face was its green eyes.

I screamed and begged for mercy but the human just laughed.

Then it gets all dark and the last thing I remember is familiar blue eyes looking at me with worry.

After Adrian put me back to bed I couldn't stop thinking about the blue eyes and the greens ones.

The green ones gave me goosebumps they were full of hate. I couldn't tell for the blues ones.

"Hey, Lily if you're bored we could hang out," Adrian asked

Oh, but wasn't he helping his mom.

"Adrian what about your mom weren't you just helping her?"I handed him the note.

"I'm done we finished and I want to hang out with you," he said.

If I was normal I would blush but I just gave him a dull look.

Do I want to hang out with him?

The thing that confuses me is why is he here?"Adrian, I'll hang out with you if you tell me why you are here and why didn't you just leave me in a hospital?"

I looked at his face as he read it.

He seems to be in deep thought.

"Because I want to take care of you it doesn't matter right now ok but how do you feel about walking to a lake?" he asked.

Oh, I have never been to a lake, but he didn't answer my question.

I'll ask him on the way to the lake.

"Ok I'll go with you but I would want to learn more about you ok?"I wrote down.

"Sure," he said happily.

"Wait do I have to take anything and also my arm the bullet." "Do you think the doctor would let me go?"I nervously wrote.

"Of course the Doctor will let you go with me, and don't worry I'll take anything you would need," he assured me.

Ok time to get fresh air.

After I assured Lily I packed lots of snacks and anything we would need considering the lake is 1 day away.

I hope she doesn't hate me for tricking her to a long ride.

I just want to spend the time it shouldn't be illegal to want to know your mate.

I went downstairs to talk to my mom if she can let Lily wear any of her clothes or maybe another pack member.

In the end, I got my mom's jacket and a pack member gave me new underwear, a new bra, jeans, and a shirt.

"Lily are you sure you feel good for a road trip?"I asked her.

I saw her nod, I smiled at her.

Ok, I made sure she had a pen and a notebook so we could"talk".

Lily and I went into my father's truck I didn't what to take my car.

I saw her being excited which made me happy she been so dull lately.

"So Lily what would you like to know, "I said as we sat down.

I wanted to do this before we start driving because I cannot drive and read.

"Ok, why are you helping me?"

"Lily how about we do easier questions first and then we can ask the more personal question in the end ok."

She gave me a small nod.

"What's your favorite color." she writes in her notebook.

"Red."

Red snorted."Of course, that's your favorite color it has my name and my name is everything." he bloats.

I ignore him and paid attention to my mate.

"How about you Lily?"I ask

Her face scrunches when she thinks hard it's really cute.

"I like all colors but maybe Blue."

I nod at her answer.

Sadly after this, I had to get moving if I wanted to get there by morning.

I was doing the talking and she was listening to me throughout the whole ride.

I noticed she likes to draw, She was drawing this flower it looked amazing she really should consider becoming an artist.

"Lily you are really good at drawing you know."

I saw her look up with a tiny tint of pink on her cheek.

She bowed her head.

Maybe as a thank you?

I smiled at her.

"Lily why don't you want to talk, "I say with a serious face.

She looked down at her lap.

"Lily you don't have to tell me but you really should try to talk."I really want to hear her voice.

"If you want I can help you try."

She stayed quiet no nods or shakes.

"Lily try to clear your throat and open your mouth."

All I hear is a little sound.

Wait I don't know what I'm doing what happens If I hurt her.

"Lily does it hurt you."I worried say

She nods.

Shit.

"Lily I'm sorry don't do it if it hurts you."

She shook her head.

I moved the truck to the side so I could talk to her better.

"Lily, can you hum?"

Maybe if she starts humming.

I hear a cracked hum but it was getting clearer.

I smiled"that's great lily."

Mayen if we take lessons for her voice she could talk again.

I could feel my throat getting clearer and clearer.

I got excited but at the same time scared.

I did make a vow not to talk.

Will I just break it for a man?

Maybe I should learn to talk again. This time my father isn't here and I won't have to be quiet anymore.

I try to hum again but louder.

Adrian looked at me with wide eyes.

Yes, I think I can make sounds now.

He smiled, "yes that's good honey."

After I heard that I stopped.

He called me honey. Now that I think about it he called me other nicknames before.

Ok, that's another question to ask him.

I opened my mouth to make a sound.

But it felt weird and all that came out was a small dying cat sound.

It was terrible and made my throat hurt.

I think that's enough I'll try later.

I went back to drawing when I finished my drawing I saw that it began to get dark outside.

It started to get cold as I begin to shiver, Adrian reached behind him and got a blanket.

He handed it to me.

I smiled and took it.

I'm going to take a nap I still feel tired from not sleeping too well.

As I fell asleep I heard a "goodnight" from Adrian.
