Treya was swinging her sword at him with the most perfect stance he's ever seen from her. He dodged her slashes, at first she was sloppy as if the Eidolon inside her was still new to a sword but it adapted quickly, soon enough Nico had to take out his sword to defend himself.
"Where was this enthusiasm and strength when we were training?" Nico muttered, as blocked the sword with his own. He was trying to be as careful as possible with Treya. His sword was dangerous to her, if he accidentally stabbed her, Nico was sure it would eliminate the Eidolon but Nico also knew it would take a toll on Treya.
The air thickened around them, and Nico slammed his hand on the ground, summoning the undead to do his bidding for him. A second later, Nico was armed with five undead soldiers surrounding him.
"Do NOT hurt her, just take that sword and knife away from her," Nico ordered and the undead started making their way to Treya. He started wondering why Treya had to bring two weapons, but it was normal to, especially that Treya had more luck with a sword instead of the magical knife.
"Treya, you need to snap out of it! Tell the Eidolon to leave your body!" Nico hissed as he watched his soldiers try to pry the the weapons. One of his undead soldiers, managed to snatch the knife from the strap, but before he could run back to Nico, Treya- well, the Eidolon, cut the undead in half.
Luckily, the undead was smart enough to throw the knife to Nico.
"She's not here anymore. This is my body now. My lord allowed me to take the body of Hecate's daughter" Treya laughed as her eyes glowed gold immensely.
"No," Nico growled, making his way to Treya and forcefully pried the sword away with ease. Nico wondered why he didn't do this immediately, but he was just so afraid of hurting her.
"Give Treya back to me," Nico demanded, swinging his sword
Fake Treya laughed, and Nico felt shivers up his spine. Not the one that made him feel jittery, the one that made him feel uncomfortable.
"You'll never hurt this girl, because you care for her," Treya said in a flat, hollow but taunting voice.
Nico paused, the eidolon was absolutely right. He wanted to nick Treya, even just a little to suck out the eidolon to his sword, but he couldn't. He didn't want to hurt Treya. Even a nick from his sword could lead to death. He didn't want that.
"But, she's already good as gone. You should hurry back to your home son of Hades, before it's too late,"
Nico's anger flared, the earth beneath them shook.
"You still wouldn't dare to hurt her," Treya's hollow voice taunted. Nico clenched his fists as he saw the earth cracks, that were everywhere except for where Treya stood, smirking, her golden eyes glowing.
Before Nico could do anything, Treya quickly took a step forward and grabbed her sword from Nico's grasp and started slashing towards Nico again.

"Treya, I know you can hear me. Listen to my voice, my voice!" Nico angrily said, swinging his sword to dodge and block.
Treya laughed, "She can't hear anything anymore, son of Hades,"
Nico sneered, before hitting the hilt of his sword hard enough on her head. At least that would only leave a bruise, a giant bruise, but at least not something that could possibly kill her.
"Please, Treya! Gods! You have to snap out of it!" Nico's voice wavered, but he stood his ground in deflecting all of Treya's blows.
At times like this, Nico wished he was Piper McLean. Piper's charmspeak was so strong it put Gaea back to sleep, preventing her from completely waking. Nico knew Piper could take the eidolon out of Treya.
An idea popped into his head, and in an instant, the earth swallowed Treya but only half of her body. Nico wanted to reminisce to the first time he's done this to Treya, and that Nico actually took an interest to her not because Hazel told her to, but because she was an annoyance to him.
"Nico!" Nico paused, and looked back at Treya whose eyes were normal again, and was sobbing as she was stuck on the earth thanks to him.
"Please let me go," Treya pleaded, her tears cascading down her cheeks.
Nico's heart broke, he didn't like to see her cry but he turned away.
"You can try but you can't fool me, I'm not letting you go," Nico spat before walking towards a puddle of water.
"Nico! Please! It hurts!" Treya cried out
Nico shut his ears, "Shut up! You're not Treya!"
"I am Treya! I- I swear!" She called out, Nico couldn't help but look back at her. She looked so real, and before he knew it, Nico was striding towards Treya and held her chin to make her look up at him.
"When we were in the bus, you made me promise you something, what was it?" Nico asked, his voice stern and firm.
"Love," Treya answered almost immediately, her tears slowing down.
Nico smirked and let her go before taking her backpack.
"Wait! It's love! You know it's love! I love you! I want you to love me back!" Treya cried in pain.
Nico's chest swelled, and he looked back "No, I know you have romantic feelings for me but that's not what you made me promise, Treya. You wanted to be my friend," Nico said, hurt in his voice as he went back to the small puddle on the sidewalk.
Nico was still unsure about the bubbling feeling in his chest, he didn't know if Eidolons could actually see through the heart of people they possess. Sure, they promised to be friends, but was that the actual reflection of Treya's feelings buried deep inside? Nico wished he took more informative classes at Camp Half Blood.
Nico tried to ignore her cries as he offered the drachma to Iris. He was so lucky that it was day time again. If they left immediately last night, he would have been struggling to contact Piper.

"O Iris, goddess of the rainbow, please accept my offering" Nico muttered, when the golden drachma disappeared he added, "Show me Piper McLean,"
Piper showed almost immediately, in her orange camp shirt, she was sparring with Annabeth.
"Piper!" Nico called out
Piper looked around and spotted the Iris Message, she instantly dropped her sword and went over to the Iris Message that showed a concerned Nico.
"Nico! What's wrong?" Piper asked, and was followed by a sweaty Annabeth behind her.
"You can take Eidolons out of their body, right? Treya's possessed by one, please, you have to help her!" Nico said worriedly, looking back at the now thrashing child of Hecate.
A look of uneasiness washed over Piper, "I don't know if it's as strong through Iris Message,"
"You have to try, I have nothing left on me. I don't want to hurt her, please," Nico pleaded
Annabeth and Piper looked at each other. They've known Nico for a while. Especially Annabeth, she's known Nico since he was only ten. Annabeth knew the drastic changes Nico went through when he lost his sister, to the moment he became the ghost king, to how he was trapped in a jar for days, to how he searched for the Doors of Death by himself in Tartarus, Annabeth knew all of this. She knew Nico closed his heart.
Nico wasn't very expressive, except towards people he truly cared for. But the face he showed right now was as if he'd trade his life for Treya's, just so she could live. He wasn't even willing to hurt her.
"Okay, I'll try," Piper reassured
"Eidolon! Get out of Treya's body, now!" Piper commanded, Nico felt lightheaded at Piper's words. Even he was moved by it, he wasn't possessed or anything, but he wanted to get out too.
"No," The eidolon stated, Nico looked at Treya who now had a hard face again and her eyes were golden.
"Nico, you have to get her closer to me," Piper said
Nico bit his lip before releasing Treya but before she could escape, Piper called out with all her might.
"Treya! Come forward and kneel!"
In an instant, Treya was kneeling in front of the Iris Message. Her golden eyes glassy.
"Get out of her body and never come back!"
"I will get out of her body and never come back," Treya said monotonously
"And you will never ever possess Treya and Nico, ever again" Piper said with such emphasis, Nico was sure he may have been afraid of her.
"I will not! Fools!" Treya's hollow voice laughed and swiped her hand through the Iris Message. She instantly picked up her sword and swung at Nico.
Nico was confused, "Why didn't it work?" He asked himself, as he dodged Treya's attacks again.
"Her charmspeak has no power here," Treya said, as she smiled at him coldly.
For Treya's next move, Nico knew he wouldn't dodge it on time. He was fine with getting hurt. He was used to it.
But before Nico could feel the stinging pain of Celestial Bronze on his skin, he heard Treya gasp out in pain.
Nico looked at her, and Treya stabbed herself with her sword. The sword didn't go through, but it was enough for Treya to cough up blood. Her eyes turned back to normal again, and was preventing to cry for it must have been painful for her.
"Treya!" Nico didn't waste a second to go to her, and laid her body still.
Treya breathed out, "P-Piper," She muttered
Nico nodded and Iris Messaged Piper again.
"Piper, she's hurt! Her own sword- I- what should I do- if she doesn't make it back-" Nico panicked and Piper immediately took action to calm him down.
"Calm down," Piper spoke, Nico instantly felt his heart rate going down.
"Eidolon, get out of Treya's body and never bother them again," Piper said, her tone getting angry.
Nico looked at Treya whose eyes flashed gold for a moment and dimmed a little later, going back to normal.
"Now, Nico calm down. Feed her some ambrosia, and tend to her wounds. Treya, can you hear me?" Piper asked
He instantly went through Treya's bag again, and fed Treya some ambrosia.
"I can hear you," Treya managed
"You have to heal, you can heal from a wound like that," Piper commanded
Treya nodded slowly, "I will heal,"
Annabeth showed up in the Iris message and looked at Nico, "She should heal. Jason also got a wound like that, even worse because he was impaled, but healed. She'll heal, don't worry. Give her time to rest,"
"We're close to Hecate, should I just go?" Nico asked
He never really asked for advice from anyone because for the main reason that he didn't like being told what to do. But in this case, he needed Annabeth's wisdom.
"No, you have to wait for her to heal. I understand that you're stronger than her in so many ways, but you're-"
"A team. We should stay together. Sorry, it was a stupid question," Nico cut her off
Annabeth smiled, "It's not stupid. You're worried about her, it's natural. Stay with her, okay Nico?"
"I will. Thanks Annabeth and tell Piper my thanks too," Nico said before swiping away the Iris Message.
Nico turned to Treya. She was smiling, but her face often morphed into one in pain.
"You have to rest, come on" Nico gently put her on his back and shadow travelled to one of the houses.
Treya gasped, getting off Nico's back immediately.
"Don't move so much," Nico warned
Treya nodded and sat on the couch.
"This was Wrynn- my best friend's house. Or at least, I thought it was," Treya gloomed
Nico sat beside her, "I know you must feel horrible right now. But even if they weren't real, and you feel alone, just remember you have a family back at Camp"
Treya smiled, "Including you?"
Nico chuckled, "Including me, now sleep,"

Ocean Attuned - A timeloop LitRPG
In the mids of industrialization, Liana, a girl of almost twelve, awakens her flow and follows her newly awakened calling, the ocean, and thus the path of the last remaining god. With the advent of industry, one's status and the accompanying skills slowly grow to be secondary as people choose more recreational skills and classes. The clear exception are flow bringers. Humans with an increased affinity towards flow and attunements are the only real remnants of the age of gods and mysticism. Terrors on the battlefield, saints in hospitals, saviours during drought, are just some examples of the wonderous abilities they display. As civilization grows less dangerous so does the stress that is often associated with the awakening of the flow reduce and only the real talents remain. Please be aware that this is a first draft at best. Tag/Genre analysis: Action: A theme that will appear in the story at some point (probably 15+ chapters in) Adventure: Yes Fantasy: Yes Magic, Beasts, and other fantastical elements are totally at home here. Tragedy: Life is not always fun. For what is fun when there are no downsides. I don't know how heavily I am going to lean into this genre. I want to but don't expect too much. Loop: Yes, though I will not divulge anything else. Just be aware that there isn't nearly as much looping as in MoL for example. Female Lead: Yes, Liana is female. Dungeon: Yes, there are dungeons. Yes, they will get explored. LitRPG: Yes, read the first chapter if you want an example. Magic: most definitely because who doesn't like calling lighting down from the heavens. (Disclaimer: No actual lightning will be called down from the heavens) Mythos: There are gods. So maybe, I don't know if that is enough to qualify? Progression: yes Slice of Life: There is plot, and the story will mostly be about that plot, but there will also be downtime because there can't always be action. The first "loop" especially the first 20-30 chapters will be heavily SoL. And afterward there will be a lot less. Profanity: The ocean (see title) includes sailors and we all know how the stereotypical sailor is. Gore: Hmmm, some but I will have it be not graphic at all.
