《pixie dust | nico di angelo ✔️》twenty three - i tell you, you tell me

Apollo but Nico held me back and dragged me to the chariot. The chariot was sooooo run down I was afraid just a minute on air and the chariot would crumble to pieces.
There were a lot of chariots back at Camp Half Blood and I tell you, even the ugliest chariot at Camp couldn't compare to this.
"Does he think he's a boho? Ugh! And I can't believe he's got that face!" I stomped toward the run down chariot.
Nico chuckled behind me, "Rare moment, but I agree with you," I laughed along with him.
"So um, do you have a pegasus? Because I don't have one, and I think we need two,"
"I'm not good with animals, but these'll have to do," For a moment, I thought he was gonna IM someone and ask from Camp to send some pegasi but he closes his eyes, and chants something in Greek, although I wasn't able to hear very well because blood rushed to my ears, afraid he'd split the ground open again.
And he did. A second later, two undead pegasi were at Nico's side.
"Shit, that is so cool," I muttered
When Nico commanded them to do his bidding, soon enough we got ourselves a ride. Well, I guess part of the effort went to Apollo but who knew how long the chariot would hold?
We'll have to see.
When we got to the sky, I was so amazed because it was the first time I rode a chariot and it made me feel very excited and scared. The undead pegasi were going at an alarmingly fast rate, but Nico looked so calm, well I guess he trusted them.
"That was so cool," I noted.
Nico turned to me, "What?"
"Your powers, you're like the most powerful demigod I've ever met," I told him excitedly, stopping myself from jumping because we might just fall to our deaths and that is no good at all.
Nico huffed, "Not really," He said but his ears were red.
I slapped his arm, "Oh stop being humble, you can totally take over the world if you wanted to,"

"By the way, what did Apollo mean back there?" I asked, having to raise my voice a little so he could hear.
Nico froze, his hands gripped the chariot too tight and his expression turned dark.
"Nothing,"
"Oh come on! Fine, how about this, if you tell me I'll tell you something about me in exchange!" I offered, putting on my puppy eyes towards Nico but he only gave me that disgusted look.
"Why would I want to know something about you?"
I placed my hand on my chest, pretending to be offended, "Because we're friends,"
Nico paused before turning to me, "Fine. Okay, I'll tell you anything except what Apollo told me. You can tell me something about your life, I guess"
I smiled and slapped his arm again, "I knew you couldn't resist being friends with me,"
I could see Nico roll his eyes, but I already began formulating my question.
"Is it true that in the Second Giant War, you turned someone into a ghost? A living person? Forcefully?" I asked excitedly, feeling like a nerd asking all of these but I've been at camp for nearly a month, and all the stories I've heard were from various people.
Some people twisted the story, or they probably just didn't witness the ghost king in action. But besides the point, I think they were honestly just scared. There were some who weren't afraid of him though, a bigger part actually, but they didn't really know a lot of Nico's battles.
I tried asking Hazel. She fed me basic information of what he could do, but she never said anything about his adventures.
Nico turned to me, surprised by my question "Uh, yeah actually,"
I snapped my fingers, "I would pay to have seen that,"
"Your turn, tell me something about you," He said, just before I asked another question.
"Um, I was a soccer captain back at home," I nervously laughed and Nico only gave me a flat look as if he expected something as bland as that.
"Am I allowed to ask anything about your past?" I asked, but not very hopeful

Nico turns away, "No,"
I slumped, "So I guessed,"
Even if you said I could ask anything, but I kept my mouth shut. I didn't want to anger Nico. Maybe arguing with him an immature manner was okay, because it was very shallow. But his past, his family, the supposed third child of Hades, it was a sensitive topic.
"When we were in the cupboard, you were scared. Are you claustrophobic?"
Nico didn't give me a glare or anything, so I suppose this question would be answered.
"No, but amidst the brewing Second Giant war, I was captured and was locked inside a jar. No air, no food, nothing. I only had my step mother's pomegranate seeds, putting me in a Death Trance. If my friends didn't get there on time, I would've died," He replied
I cleared my throat, Nico was so out of my league.
"Uh, I'm dyslexic, but not very dyslexic- shoot, you already knew that. Oh! I think I can create my own spells! When I got you out as a plant- tree rather, I chanted something that undid Circe's sorcery. Also, I think this whole sparkly glitter ordeal, was something I created out of blue," I said proudly, although nothing's been really confirmed yet.
I had almost forgotten I cursed Nico, because I was already so used to see him all glittery and occasionally coughed up some glitter. Even when he was forming into a tree, he was still all glitter. Circe should've done me a favor by removing the spell.
Nico's eyebrows crossed together, "But you're not a sorceress,"
I shrugged, "I don't know really, I want to know more but I can't exactly contact my mom"
Nico didn't reply so I guess it was my turn to ask.
"I've heard you've been to Tartarus," I say. Nico glances at me and nods.
"Alone?" I ask and he nods again.
"It wasn't easy, if that's what you thought. Even I thought I'd have the upper hand than other demigods because I'm the son of Hades, I almost lost my sanity down there, and it's where I was captured and put into a jar,"
I stared at him with awe, "And you were so young then, how did you learn your abilities by the way? Did Chiron teach you?"
Nico shook his head, not even noticing it was my turn to give out a piece of information but I was already running out of information so let's leave it at that.
"I spent more time in the Underworld, that's why my abilities unlocked to this extent"
I nodded, and a sudden turbulence shook me, and before I knew it, I was falling to my death. I knew Apollo's chariot wouldn't last very long, I wanted to curse him but couldn't.
I start screaming. Yeah, so nice of me but I was trying to flap my arms as if I'd grow wings last minute, anything but falling to my death. Then I see Nico above me, flailing on air and suddenly regaining control, reaching down for me.
For a moment I thought he could fly, but I guess he was just used to these kinds of things.
I managed to grab his arm and he pulled me towards him. He then tugged on one of my belt loops, pulling me closer. I held his skull shirt tightly, and he tightened his grip on waist.
"Um, there are no shadows!" I yelled at him.
"Just trust me," He yelled back as we plummeted downwards.
I suddenly felt nauseous, "I think I'm gonna throw up,"
Nico gave me a look of begging, "Please don't"
And just about a meter away from falling hard on the ground, Nico dove for the shadows.
When I opened my eyes, we were on the ground, and was sprawled on top of Nico who was looking a little queasy, but fine nevertheless.
I suddenly got a sense of deja vu.
Shaking the feeling off, I got off of Nico and offered him a hand up.
"Do you know where we might've gone?" I asked him, as he took my hand, not even playing any tricks on me this time.
"I don't exactly know where, but just the place where we were about to fall to our deaths," He said, as he dusted off the dirt.
