Well, to say it was a little awkward would be an understatement.

I kinda just went to his son's house and it happened that he had his siblings over and all their kids and everything; family dinner or something.

So, I knock on the door and Antonio's son Mario's daughter answered the door. This girl was probably sixteen or so and she looked at me critically and asked me why I was there.

After quickly explaining, she let me in and got her father, aunts, and uncles. She quickly explained to Tonio's kids and Mario quickly took me into the living room with his family to sit.

Mario and his siblings and their kids all sat around with me, trying to figure out why I was there. Because I was alive seventy years ago and I'm actually the boy Tonio told his kids stories of, I told them I was Nico di Angelo's descendant and I was looking for old Italian connections.

For the duration of the visit, we spoke about Tonio's life, his wife, the kids, and how life was going in general.

It was nice and I got to practice my Italian some more. After a while, it all came back to me. It was nice.

They still have no idea Tonio was at least a little gay.
