I don't eat a whole lot because I have a really small apatite.

My favorite food, however, is a food I can't really get anymore.

It was my Mom's home made minestrone soup. The best minestrone soup I've ever been able to find.

I've tried to find the recipe, but no one in my known living family makes it the way my Mother did.

It's quite horrific that I can't find it.

I could eat an entire pot of that stuff and still want more.

My mom always told me "Sei un bravo ragazzo italiano. Voi sapete come mangiare!" Which translates to "you're a good Italian boy. You know how to eat!" And then she would laugh about how much I loved her cooking.
